I purchased a TaoTronics fan on 12/6 through Amazon. About 6 months after the purchase (well beyond Amazon's 30-day return window), the fan stopped working. TaoTronics offered a 1-yr warranty with the option to extend to an 18-month warranty, which I registered for. We immediately contacted the phone number provided for the warranty and they said to return the product for a new one to be sent. Since then we've sent 7 emails because we never received the replacement and they have since said it's out of stock and they will not send a replacement and to seek a refund from Amazon. Their warranty is supposed to cover us for 18 months so we continue to hound them for a TaoTronics credit or replacement and they keep sending an automated message to reach out to Amazon when it's their warranty that covers malfunctioning equipment.

Refund for product not delivered. Ordered SoundLiberty 88 Total Wireless Bluetooth Headset from Taotronics.com on 9/23 with order reference TaotronicXXXXX. Product was back ordered, a detail not communicated until I inquired. Requested a refund due to the delay, but was denied as the product had shipped. However, I received a Vava Children's Night Light instead. Despite repeated requests for a refund and assurances from customer service, as of 10/8, my payment has not been returned following this incorrect and unfulfilled order.

Hi, I have had three TT-AP003 Air Purifiers from Taotronics, all of which have developed display faults. When this happened to the third one, I got in touch with the company and was told that they had sent as many replacements as they could. With that said, they did offer a half refund, which I refused. I said that I wanted more and was offered a full refund, although despite being told that the money would reach my PayPal account within 2-3 working days on July 6th, I'm still waiting for it. I have sent three further emails to the company between the 9th and 16th July without reply. If I don't get my money back soon, I will have three faulty air purifiers, and will also be out of pocket. On November 12, I purchased a space heater from TaoTronics. The product was a specific model, and I was provided with an order number at the time of purchase. On March 17, I contacted the company to inform them that the space heater was malfunctioning and that the power cord had melted. The representative that I spoke with requested pictures of the melted plug, which I provided. They acknowledged the issue and provided me with a shipping label to return the product for repair or replacement under the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process. I sent the product back but did not receive any updates until I reached out to inquire about the status. At that point, I was given an RMA number and a new order number for the replacement unit. After continued silence and not receiving the replacement, I attempted to contact the company on May 25, but my email did not go through. I then called their customer service and was given a tracking number. Despite this, five months have passed, and I still have not received the replacement unit.
Cherry from Customer Service said that I can't return my pedestal fan I bought from Taotronics because the return window expired. How can my fan be expired? I just received it yesterday on August 25, which was a Wednesday. Their return policy states a 30-day return period for a full refund. I had ordered a Pedestal Fan from TaoTronics. Did Cherry even bother to check with the courier service when my fan was delivered? The first customer service representative I communicated with mentioned that she would compensate me with $20 due to the frustration I was experiencing with another Taotronic product, an evaporative cooler, which I had purchased from Amazon. I am questioning the kind of business practices Taotronics is engaging in. Is it possible for them to distinguish between the two different orders, one from Amazon and the other from the Taotronics website? Their handling of the situation seems highly questionable.

When I checked order status online, it still says my item was not shipped out. I order a personal massager from this company via Amazon. The order was placed in March and the order was delivered a few days after I placed my order. The product has already stopped working. They are using bad practice to not honor returns I called about a produce not working- after 3 customer service calls they said they would send a return label. The label came and it was not valid. The company promises a special reward for a 5-star review. But beware, they would not deliver on this promise once you've given the review. I purchased an item on Oct 31, 2020. My order number was redacted. As part of their promotion effort, they sent a card asking for a 5-star review, in exchange, they would send a special reward. I followed the instructions on the card they sent and made a 5-star review, then sent an email to them to claim the reward. They asked the same information multiple times, kept on stalling, and told me multiple times that once finance reviewed, I would receive my reward. Two months have passed since, needless to say, I never received my reward, and they stopped replying to my email. The reward is not much, but I'm very unhappy about their practice of scamming customers into making good reviews then not delivering on their end, and eventually ghosting customers.

I ordered headphones/ earbuds from this company in March. After taking nearly three weeks to receive the product, the performance of the product was horrible! Product did not live up to claims, on performance, and upon contacting tech department, I received no resolution. I was told on countless occasions, throughout this process, that I would receive emails or phone calls, and received none of the above. The company offered a "replacement product" after trying to sidestep giving me a refund... I then waited a month for my "replacement product" and never received anything or any communication from the company. Order TaoTronicsXXXXX was confirmed and my PayPal account charged that same day. On October 29,2020 I inquired via email as to status of the order. On October 30 I received a reply that the order was delayed by an unusually large volume of orders and to wait a few days. The vendor provided a UPS tracking number which indicated that a label had been created on October 23,2020 but the shipment had not been picked up. On November 3, 202 I again contacted Taotronics via email demanding shipment or a refund. On November 4 I received a response stating that shipping was delayed due to a "special situation" and to wait a few days. Later that day I received an email indicating that the shipment was " on the way". On November 10,2020 I checked the shipment status with UPS. The status had not changed since October 23,2020. The status was unchanged and the shipment was still awaiting UPS pickup.

I followed all their directions by sharing my experience and product review, I scanned the QR code and posted the review to their Facebook site, and lastly emailed the order details with order #, payment verification, and a copy of the live Amazon review I posted.However, weeks later I never received the gift card. I emailed the company at ***. *** from the company answered my email and informed me they needed to verify payment. I again sent a copy of my Amazon receipt. She told me they needed to check it and the Amazon gift card would be sent within 1 day. That never happened. I reached out to them on Facebook and was told they were overwhelmed with requests but my gift card would be sent in a week. That still never happened and now they refuse to answer email or Facebook messages which is how they ask you to contact them with questions. This appears to be fraud

Poor design and materials of product
Poor design and materials of product. Wanted to return for refund; problems ensued. When my TaoTronics Humidifer AH-015 got mold, I wanted to replace it with another Taotronics model. The closest was AH-001. It came on 2/8. When I took it out of the box, I saw that it wasn't what I thought it was: the plastic was the flimsy type used for children's toys and the tank is filled at the bottom, which was concerning that if the seal failed, it could leak or completely flood my floor. Also I never received a receipt or a warranty. There was nothing in their return policy that described their criteria for returns or refunds, attached here as Additional Supporting Documentation. I didn't try to use the product; instead; I reboxed it as I found it and called TaoTronics Customer Service *** saying I wanted to return it for the reasons described above. The rep said I would get a full refund $32.99 with no restocking fee but wasn't sure if I had to pay shipping costs; I should hear back in 2-3 days. I called again on 2/16 and was told I would have to pay restocking and shipping and would get a refund of 20% of my purchase price. When I protested, I was told that's the way it was.

I placed order #XXXXX on X-XX-XX for an oscillating fan at the total price of *** On *** I contacted Taotronics inquiring where my item was. I was told that there were delays in shipping but my item will be shipped immediately. After three additional weeks, I had not received the fan. When I called again, they mentioned that it had not been shipped yet. At that time, I requested to cancel my order entirely for a full refund. Taotronics agreed to cancel the order. After waiting for two weeks, I had not received the refund. I called taotronics and asked why this had not been completed. I was told at that time that the fan had shipped and I should receive it in a a few days. At that time I asked why it had been shipped when it was supposed to be cancelled. The associate did not have an answer and acknowledged that it was cancelled in the system. I requested a return label because I no longer wanted the item. After multiple calls, I was finally sent a return label. I immediately sent the item back and the tracking number shows that it item was delivered on *** Since the item was returned, I have called four times and each time I was told that the refund would be processed and they did not have a manager on site to take my call.

TaoTronics is not honoring warranty
TaoTronics is not honoring warranty. I purchased a TaoTronics Cool Mist Humidifier on XX-XX-XXXX on Amazon.com. The model number is *** I paid *** including tax. This product is still under warranty (12 months warranty plus 18 months extended because of registration of product). In December the fan on the humidifier started getting loud when in use. I called TaoTronics at their customer support number listed on warranty card - *** (Sunvalley Tech answers) on XX-XX-XXXX and spoke to *** After answering her questions about cleaning the humidifier every day, trying a different electrical outlet, and using filtered water, *** said she would do a request for replacement. She said in *** days I would receive an email confirmation and in *** days I would receive a replacement humidifier. She said the email would state whether to return the faulty unit or not. I called *** again on *** because I never received an email This time I spoke to ***. She said she could see it was still in process and she would follow-up on it and get an email sent to me. On *** I called *** again and spoke to ***. She gave me the case number and said it is in process and I will get an email in 24-48 business hours and that she will follow up on it. She said after the email, I will get the replacement humidifier in *** business days. On *** I called again because I still have not received an email or replacement humidifier. This time I spoke to *** who said they are transitioning to a different warehouse and my email would actually be coming from warehouse management, the main office team. She couldn't do more, so I asked for a phone number to contact them because I wasn't getting anywhere on this. She said there is no phone number that I can call because they are in China and it is a different time there. She said I can only make contact to them through email. Obviously, this would've meant a replacement would be put off to another later date - IF I ever got it. At this point, I told her that I felt that I was not getting taken care of and would have to report them to ComplaintsBoard.com for resolution.

I bought a air humidifier and it claims to be easy to clean and it is not. The company said I need to use it and find it faulty in order to return so I did and of course it did not meet expectations. I have been trying to return the item for a month and they will not respond to my emails.
I purchased a cool air humidifier that does not work well. I have a moisture detector in my room and with my other humidifiers in the past I have seen the moisture percentage in the room go up and it does not with this item. I tried to contact the company to return it and they want me to show proof with video but the video is not going to show proof, my moisture detector does and it doesn't make sense to send a photo of my detector since it is set for a period of time. I just want my money back but this company is being purposefully difficult so that I can't return it. I have been trying for about a month now and I am not going to unpackaged the item. I had to pay to package it to send back and honestly this has been ridiculous. I want my money back. Also the phone number they provide is fake.
On November 12th, I ordered an electric blanket from Taotronics via the internet. The advertisement stated that the size was 72" x 84". However, when the product arrived, it measured only 50" x 60". The item is too small and does not match the size that was advertised. I called the company with my complaint, and they insisted that I take pictures of the item and the user manual and send them so they could initiate a warranty claim. Instead of facilitating a simple exchange, they asked if I could keep the smaller blanket, citing that the process to satisfy an exchange or return could be lengthy. I have never encountered such a prolonged process for what should be a straightforward exchange. All I want is the correct size blanket as advertised, which is 72" x 84", not 50" x 60".
