TechDeals Review: Pros and Cons of Shopping for Tech Products on this Site
TechDeals is a website that offers deals on all sorts of tech products. If you're looking for a new phone, laptop, or other gadget, this site might be worth checking out. However, be warned that there are some downsides to using TechDeals.
One of the biggest issues with TechDeals is that you have to pay for shipping on most items. This can add up quickly, especially if you're buying multiple items. And even if you do pay for shipping, there's no guarantee that you'll actually receive your order. Some customers have reported that their orders never arrived, or that they received the wrong item.
Despite these issues, there are some good things about TechDeals. For one, they often have great prices on popular tech products. And if you're looking to donate to a good cause, TechDeals partners with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to donate a portion of their profits to the organization.
Overall, TechDeals is a mixed bag. If you're willing to take a risk on shipping and potentially not receiving your order, you might be able to snag a good deal. But if you're looking for a more reliable shopping experience, you might want to look elsewhere.
TechDeals: The Ultimate Destination for Affordable Tech Products
It's a total scam. But then I found TechDeals on deals.androidauthority.com and it's a whole different story. They have some really great deals on tech products and I've actually bought a few things from them. The prices are really good and the shipping is fast. I got a new phone case and a pair of headphones and they both arrived within a week. The website is easy to navigate and they have a lot of different categories to choose from. I also like that they have reviews from other customers so you can see what people think of the products before you buy them. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience with TechDeals and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good deals on tech products.
TechDeals Review: A Costly Mistake and Frustrating Experience
So, I stumbled upon TechDeals while browsing the internet for some cool tech stuff. I saw a giveaway for just $1 and thought, "Why not give it a try?" But little did I know that it would turn out to be a costly mistake.
Initially, I was charged $6 for the giveaway entry, which I thought was reasonable. However, I was promised a refund for that amount, which I never received. Instead, I was charged a whopping $156, which was definitely not authorized by me. I was left scratching my head, wondering what had happened.
To make matters worse, I tried to contact their customer support, but it was like talking to a brick wall. They were unresponsive and unhelpful, leaving me feeling frustrated and ripped off.
Overall, my experience with TechDeals has been a complete disaster. I would not recommend anyone to use their services, as they seem to be more interested in taking your money than providing quality products and services. So, if you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy tech deals website, I suggest you look elsewhere.
TechDeals Review: Be Cautious When Shopping Online
I recently had a not-so-great experience with TechDeals. I was browsing their website, deals.androidauthority.com, and found what I thought was a great deal on a tech gadget I had been eyeing for a while. The website looked legit and I didn't think twice about making the purchase.
However, after I completed the transaction, I started to feel uneasy. I didn't receive any confirmation email or shipping information. Instead, I received two emails with ebooks about yoga, which is not something I'm interested in at all. I was confused and frustrated, and realized that I had been scammed out of $175.00.
I should have been more careful and done my research before making the purchase. It's a hard lesson to learn, but I won't be making that mistake again. I hope others can learn from my experience and be cautious when shopping online.
Overall, I would not recommend TechDeals. Their website may look authentic, but it's important to be vigilant and do your due diligence before making any purchases. Don't fall for their net laying in front of your own 2 feet like I did.
Beware of Scams: My Experience with a "Too Good to Be True" Deal
So, I was browsing TechDeals and stumbled upon a deal that seemed too good to be true. It was a supposed 500 dollar gift card from Walmart and all I had to do was pay for the shipping. I thought, "Wow, what a steal!" and went ahead with the purchase.
The shipping process went smoothly, but then things took a turn. A few minutes later, I received a notification that my card was being charged 155.00. I was confused and alarmed, as I had only agreed to pay for the shipping. Thankfully, my card company sent me a text to confirm the purchase before it went through.
I quickly realized that this was a scam and said no to the charge. I'm so grateful that my card company was on top of things and prevented me from being scammed out of 155.00. It's a shame that there are people out there who try to take advantage of others like this.
Overall, I would caution anyone who comes across a deal that seems too good to be true. Always do your research and make sure you're dealing with a reputable company. Don't fall for scams like this one. Stay safe out there, folks!
TechDeals Review: Not a Trustworthy Site for Gift Cards and Memberships
I recently had an experience with TechDeals and I have to say, it was not a good one. I thought I had won a $500 gift card, but after not hearing anything for a while, I decided to call Walmart to see if they had any information. To my surprise, they had no knowledge of TechDeals and informed me that it was likely a scam.
To be safe, I ordered a new gift card and also decided to call TechDeals to see what was going on. They told me that I had not actually won a gift card, but was instead paying for a membership. I was shocked and frustrated - I had never signed up for a membership and had no idea what they were talking about.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with TechDeals. It seems like they are not a trustworthy site and I would caution others against using them. It's a shame, because I was really excited about the possibility of winning a gift card, but it turned out to be too good to be true.
TechDeals Review: Beware of Scams and Tricky Pop-Ups
So, I recently stumbled upon this website called TechDeals and I have to say, I was pretty excited to see what kind of deals they had to offer. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal, right? However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I came across what I believe to be a scam.
I was browsing through the website on my phone when a pop-up appeared, claiming that I could win an iPad by flipping a card. All I had to do was pay for shipping and handling, which was only one to five dollars. It seemed like a great deal, and the pop-up looked like it came straight from Android, so I thought it was legit.
I went ahead and paid the five dollars, but then the confirmation screen popped up and simply said "good luck?" I didn't see any small print or stipulations, and I started to feel like I had just been scammed. I mean, it was only five dollars, but that's not the point. I don't like feeling like a fool.
To make matters worse, when I tried to go back and re-examine what I had just agreed to, the screen wouldn't let me. It just kept blinking and wouldn't allow me to go back. It was very tricky and shady, and I felt like I had been taken advantage of.
I suggest that anyone who comes across a deal like this triple double checks the small print before agreeing to anything. I wish I had the chance to do so, but unfortunately, I didn't. If I don't receive anything from these people, I plan on taking it up with the Better Business Bureau.
One more thing that I found strange about this website is that when I try to search for it, the name keeps changing automatically. It's very frustrating and confusing, and I don't understand why it's doing that. Overall, I would say that my experience with TechDeals was not a good one, and I would caution others to be careful when dealing with this website.
TechDeals and Android Authority: A Terrible Shopping Experience
I recently made a purchase from TechDeals, specifically the "The Complete 2018 CompTIA Certification Training Bundle with Lifetime Access" for $53.10. Unfortunately, I was unable to access the bundle and when I reached out to customer support, they responded quickly via email. They explained that icollege was experiencing issues due to an increase in paying customers, but assured me that it was up and running now. However, even after being able to log in, I still couldn't launch any of the CBT nuggets. When I asked for a refund, I was told that they were only a third party and couldn't authorize a refund. They claimed that they buy in bulk to give discounts to customers, which is why refunds aren't an option.
I found their store to be terrible and there was nothing worth getting with my store credits. I finally settled on something that was just okay and unfortunately had to spend an additional $14.88 to buy it. They told me that my store credit would never expire, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving my "credits" with them. Who knows if they might disappear? I placed my order on March 23rd and it still says "order received" with an estimated delivery of April 3-6. However, I have a feeling that it will be sometime after April 6th, or maybe even a month later, and I might even be informed that it's "out of stock".
I must say that I am extremely disappointed with TechDeals and Android Authority. I used to access Android Authority for their articles, but now my opinion of them has changed. I will never again access any stackcommerce website or https://deals.androidauthority.com. It's truly scandalous! I need to find out how to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I'm pretty sure that there are many people who have had the same experience as me. Thank you, Android Authority, for making me extremely cautious and paranoid when ordering from any online merchant now.
TechDeals Deals Androidauthority Review: Defective Products and Inadequate Refund Policies
I recently made a purchase through TechDeals deals. Androidauthority for a Certification Bundle with lifetime access to a suite of 8 CompTIA+ products. I was drawn to the advertisement, which used CompTIA-like images, but unfortunately, the vendor iCollege turned out to not be an approved vendor. This was disappointing, and I only had 10 days to request a refund from iCollege, which was not enough time for me to fully evaluate the product.
TechDeals, on the other hand, limited their guarantee to 15 days, which was not enough time for me to fully evaluate the product and determine that it was defective. When I requested a refund for the defective product, TechDeals only offered me store credit, which was not acceptable. I submitted a dispute through PayPal and will make a claim with my credit card if necessary.
If the product had been in good working condition and I simply did not like it, I would have accepted the store credit. However, this was not the case, and I believe that store credit for a defective, unusable product is a scam. I was disappointed to learn that this seems to be the way TechDeals does business, as I discovered through reading reviews on the BBB website.
Update: I received store credit back to my PayPal account as a refund on 9/21. While I am glad to have received a refund, I wish that TechDeals had processed it when I first requested it, rather than making me go through the dispute process. I believe that they could do a better job of retaining customers by ensuring their satisfaction, rather than trying to retain them through store credit for defective products. Additionally, I was disappointed by the falsehoods and misleading advertising of the products.
I filed a complaint with the BBB on 9/19, as the training product was definitely inferior, did not work, and had slow loading times. The quizzes did not load, and despite reporting these issues to the support team, they were not resolved. I was disappointed to learn that many products are sold as-is with no refund, which I believe is unacceptable.
In conclusion, I would caution others against making purchases through TechDeals deals. Androidauthority, as I believe that their products are often defective and their refund policies are inadequate. I am using PayPal to dispute the credit and obtain a refund, and I have also opened a complaint case with the BBB. I hope that by sharing my experience, I can help others avoid being taken advantage of by this company. Remember the old saying: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
