The Addictions Academy Cali estes

I questioned their legitimacy. Cali Estes who is in charge of The Addictions Academy inboxed me on facebook with these angry rants...

'Do you have an even finished your education and you’re on an ad arguing with my staff. So what you read a review did you see the 5000 people we trained and all the good reviews on the website? No you’re too busy at 7:30 on a Wednesday [censored]ing around on my page

Cali

And you couldn’t even finish temple a [censored] school

Cali

You’re not somebody who would hire a coach or even be qualified to coach a dog. But here you are arguing with someone you don’t even know. You need a therapist yourself.

Cali

That shows me how pathetic your Philadelphia life it’s Mr. I can’t even graduate college

Cali

Like they say don’t take advice for somebody who hasn’t done anything and according to your profile you’ve done a whole lot of squad

Nothing better to do on a Wednesday night Mr. single? Can’t get a girl or guy or whatever you’re into

Cali

Well according to your Facebook profile it said study that but it doesn’t say you’re finished. I have something from Temple I have a writing a word from when I was in high school. Maybe you have a certificate like that one?

Cali

You can’t even post a profile picture that is why you’re single.

Cali

Probably a serial killer a pedophile

Cali

But I digress because obviously I have nothing better to do than [censored] back with you on Wednesday night.

Cali

Where you go hot shot?

Cali

Cali Estes

Typical Philadelphia run your mouth to a girl and then disappear"

I saved the screen shots of this conversation.

Desired outcome: I would like to have this company investigated. This place is a scam.

The Addictions Academy courses

Hi I am So pleased with my certifications at The Addictions Academy in Miami Florida! I saw Dr Cali Estes (the founder and ONE of over 20 teachers) on CNN TV and in People magazine, and I knew I had to meet her! Her vision to create as many trained and educated people as possible is awesome. I am currently working as a sober coach and sober companion here in the USA and also Europe. I have taken 4 of her courses: Recovery Coach, Interventionist, Life Coach and Family Coach. All 4 were taught by different teachers that have over 20 years experience each! I learned so much and I got my first client at $150.00 an hour.

I love The Addictions Academy so much that I even put a great testimonial video up to tell others how well I am doing with my company.

Actually you are VERY wrong. The PA Certification Board is a private nonprofit and not connected to the state. In addition, it has no more or less bearing than any other certification body like ARISE or Intervention911. So, what you just said was complete garbage. In fact, Cali and her team TRAINED sober escorts, inc...so maybe you need to research better. Also, the class I took had 10 week of supervision with 5 different top interventionists...not just a class, so clearly you were never a student! Probably just a competitor trying to win business!

I know several people who took her intervention training. They were told that they were accredited with a credentialing board when they completed the course. NOTHING could have been further from the truth. The Pennsylvania Certification Board is the credentialing body for CIP's (Certified Intervention Professional). Becoming an interventionist takes training AND SUPERVISION. No one becomes a CIP just by completing a class. Cali's people were sold a bill of goods.

There are many legitimate companies out there for sober coaching, sober companioning, and interventions. Try intervention 911, or Southworth Associates, or Sober Escorts, Inc.

The Addictions Academy fake, false, fraudulent degrees and diplomas

Chrysty Estes aka cali estes – the addictions academy fraud

This is from a real former student who got ripped off, not a competitor

I was a former real estate broker/mortgage banker in Beverly Hills, California. I lived in a gated, multi-million dollar Hollywood Hills villa with a panoramic view, just above the world famous “Sunset Strip” and was known as the “Rock and Roll Realtor” for throwing my famous star-studded parties.

My own addictions to SEX, food, drugs, alcohol and gambling led me to a hedonistic “Hotel California” lifestyle.

The real estate downturn caused financial problems for me and I became involved in business with people, who I did not realize were already convicted felons, in an attempt to earn funds to save my home from foreclosure.

This business relationship would later cause me to be indicted on federal, white-collar money laundering charges

I became one of the best “Prison Lawyers” in the history of the “Federal Bureau of Prisons.” (FBOP)

As my own “Sentencing Mitigation Specialist”, I authored a 284-page 3553(a) Sentencing Mitigation motion with over 40 downward departures and served 10 years less than what the prosecutor requested, even though I went to trial, which only 3% of all federal defendants do.

I was both one of the elite “Inmate Companions on the Suicide Watch Team” with the FBOP Psychology Department and was accepted into the “Residential Drug Abuse Program” (RDAP), which grants an 18-month sentence reduction.

I authored my own 2241 motion while incarcerated, receiving an additional 12 months off his sentence.”

I filed over 120 “Administrative Remedies, ” while incarcerated, resulting in a multi-jurisdictional lawsuit and won a large financial settlement against the United States of America.

I am continuing to file appeals to have my conviction overturned and more multi-million dollar civil rights lawsuits against the United States government.

After my release from incarceration I had to complete 3 years of supervised release (probation) in the Southern District of Florida.

I decided I wanted to enter the addiction field to help people, especially teenagers, with their substance abuse problems, so they did not go down the same wrong road that I had.

I completed many addiction courses while incarcerated. I Googled and found The Addictions Academy which was in Miami. I called and spoke to Cali Estes, whose legal first name I discovered later was Christy.

I explained my situation of being previously incarcerated and on probation. I told her I had very little money at that time to pay for courses.

Cali told me her own husband was a convicted felon and had been in jail over 20 times.

Cali told me that if I completed the Nationally Certified Recovery Coach (NCRC) course she would give me a job, which turned out to be a boldfaced lie.

The NCRC course was supposedly 16 hours delivered by webinar over a weekend. I even signed up a friend of mine for the course.

My friend and I paid a total of $1, 065 each for the course and book.

I asked to meet Cali at her school location and she said there was no office. She just worked out of her condo. This should have been the first red flag.

I met her at a Starbucks near her condo. The book turned out to be thin, more like a brochure, very poorly written, as it was full of spelling mistakes.

The next Saturday morning, my friend and I signed up with “Go to Meeting” for the webinar. There were 3 other students and there was Cali on video sitting on her living room sofa in her condo.

The course turned out to be a real joke. Each day, Saturday and Sunday, the course which was supposed to be 8 hours daily, started late, ended early and was full of breaks, so Cali could answer her cellphone. It turned out to be about 4 hours a day of just hearing Cali rambling and bragging about herself.

When I called Cali the following Monday for my new job she had promised me, Cali told me I needed to take 6 more courses ($6, 350), before she could hire me. She had completely lied to me, so I would take the first course.

I went out to find employment with my newly printed NCRC certificate and was shocked to hear potential employers literally laugh out loud and what they said about Cali and The Addictions Academy:

1. “Cali is a fraud”
2. “Cali is a scammer”
3. “You lost your money”
4. “The school is a scam”
5. “You have been cheated”
6. “The courses are worthless”
7. “Nationally Certified” means nothing as there is no “National Certification” for the courses she offers. They’re just fake diplomas made up for marketing purposes.”
8. “Cali uses a nickname because she doesn’t want people to know her legal name”
9. “Cali had legal problems in California and had to flee to Florida, where she homesteaded a condo just like O.J. Simpson, so a court financial judgement could not be collected against her”

So, I incorporated a company titled, “The Addiction Coach, Inc.”

When Cali found out, she called me and said I was pretending to be her. I don’t know how I could do that as I am a man and she is a woman. She touted herself as “The Addictions Coach” with the word “Addictions” plural.

I told her I just wanted my money refunded. Her reply was:

A. She had a prepaid retainer with one of the best law firms in Miami to sue me.
B. She was going to report to my probation officer that I was pretending to be her.
C. Her husband got on the phone and threatened me with violence stating he was going to “Put His Foot Up My [censor]”.

Cali said I had to dissolve my corporation or A, B, and C would occur.

Being on probation is like walking on egg shells. I had a rookie probation officer trying to make a name for herself and felt that she would believe Cali and violate me, therefore I dissolved the corporation.

I read on The Addiction Academy website that Cali had supposedly earned a Ph.D. to try and give herself more credibility.

It turned out that the unrecognized, non-regionally accredited university where Cali received her diploma was selling Ph.D. degrees for $500.

Cali stated in an email to me that she is a Clinical Psychologist and holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Life Coaching from Dayspring University.

Christy "Cali" Estes" is not registered as a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Florida or any other state.

On her email [protected]@gmail.com it states Crim Psychologist. Crim stands for Criminal, so she is a Criminal Psychologist. These words are more fitting for her.

Notice how she left out the word “Christian” from the name of the university as she wants it to sound like a secular degree. Cali also omitted it on her school website.

Dayspring Christian University was the old name and now due to bad publicity it has been changed to Dayspring Theological University

On this page it lists the degrees offered:

The university doesn't even offer a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Life Coaching.

Their website shows only a Ph.D. in Psychology (Biblical Model). So Cali has a Bible PhD.

On this URL it states that PhD's from Dayspring Christian University were sold for $425.

Here is a statement from the above URL:

"Some significant things came up during these interactions with the fake universities. The Dayspring Christian University emails were riddled with typographical and grammatical errors. In their first reply to my enquiry email, they referred to me as ‘Rev’ and I never told them I was a reverend minister, and I haven’t even bought the degree yet, which costs a paltry $500. When I wasn’t replying to their mails, they offered me a discount; I could pay the amount less $75! And I could either fly to collect the ‘degree’ at a ceremony in the US or they could arrange to confer it on me here in Ghana!"

Neither Dayspring Christian University nor Dayspring Theological University has any regional accreditation. They claim accreditation from an unrecognized organization, known as the AACT.

American Association Christian Therapists (AACT) is not listed as a Recognized Higher Education Accreditation Organization.

Cali is using the same unrecognized AACT for the accrediting of The Addiction Academy on its website.

Telephone numbers listed on the bottom of the Dayspring Theological University website’s home page reflect how they market their cheap $500 Ph.D. degrees to many third world countries listing local telephone numbers, so the prospective student does not have to pay long distance charges.

TO FILE COMPLAINTS AGAINST CHRISTY ESTES AKA “CALI” AND THE ADDICTIONS ACADEMY

Office of Attorney General
State of Florida
The Capitol PL-01
Tallahassee, FL [protected]

The complaint would be that Cali is advertising “Nationally Certified” courses when these are words she has just made up and they are fake diplomas, as there is no “National Certification” for the courses she offers. Students are induced to enroll in the course(s) by this false, fraudulent and misleading advertising in the belief that they could become “Nationally Certified” and therefore earn more income.

Florida Department of Education
Office of the Commissioner
Turlington Building, Suite 1514
325 West Gaines Street
Tallahassee, Florida 32399
HTTP://WWW.fldoe.org/contact-us/

The complaint would be that there is no state license from the Florida Department of Education listed on her school website, so Cali is operating her school illegally.

TO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST CHRISTY ESTES AKA “CALI”

Florida Certification Board
1715 South Gadsden Street
Tallahassee, FL 32301
HTTP://flcertificationboard.org/contact-us/

The complaint would be that Cali must use her complete legal name as a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) in the state of Florida on all websites, brochures, business cards, correspondence, etc. so that when people file a complaint against her, it will be against the proper person.

Board of Psychology
4052 Bald Cypress Way Bin C-05
Tallahassee, FL [protected]

The complaint would be that Cali is not registered as a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Florida, but she is advertising herself on The Addictions Academy website and in emails as a Clinical Psychologist.

The Addictions Academy The certificate and diploma were useless for me

I have wasted my time and huge amount of money for the fake course in the Addictions Academy. I paid over $1, 500 for the course and when I finished it, I got the certificate. But after that I called to different agencies and their reps told me the same that this certificate and diploma weren’t appropriate to continue studies in some higher institutions. This owner said completely different and therefore I agreed to take the course. Guys, be very caution and check this company before you pay for the course.
