The Cobblers This company is maddening!

This company is maddening! I had two bags repaired there with minimal problems and spent nearly 2K. Now, I have a LV bag that I am waiting to have them send back to me. I have paid over 1K for this repair. I can't get any answers to my emails via support. They don't respond via text message. They won't answer messages on instagram. I emailed the rep. that I had a video chat with...more than once. I have tried calling with NO luck. I just need to know when to expect my bag as I have to leave the country. I found a few people on linkedin and asked for help. NOTHING. What a disgrace. I am about to dispute my CC charges. What a travesty. The customer service is absolutely a nightmare.I was ready to refer this place to a ton of my friends. That won't happen.

I sent shoes to be repaired back in September. Paid $200 and I cant get in contact with anyone. This company is willing to contact you, be all nice and proper, look forward to helping you. Then take your products and never return them. I have been trying over and over to get through to them.

This place is a complete disaster! I went in there to drop off a pair of Jordans and a pair of heels for repair and deep clean, on June 30, 2023. I paid $293.13. They told me I would receive them in 45-60 days. After 3 months, I called many times to get an update, and I got the run around with no real timeline on when my items would be ready.

After 5 months, I got an email that the items were ready in November. I went to their store on November 29th, and only the sneakers were ready. I PAID $100 for whitening and glossing the soles, $74 for deep cleaning, restoration, and new shoe laces. THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THIS! Plus, the shoes were not ready at all for pick up. Two days later, the shoes arrived at my house via UPS, and they too WERE NOT RESTORED, CLEANED, or REFURBISHED AT ALL! DON'T USE THIS PLACE AT ALL, THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE. I'm still trying to get my full refund back from them.

The Cobblers I took my Fendi Peekaboo bag 4 months ago to repair some scratches and when they returned to me the finishes were HORRIBLE

I took my Fendi Peekaboo bag 4 months ago to repair some scratches and when they returned to me the finishes were HORRIBLE. Now, it looks like a fake peekaboo. All the corners of the purse are super thick, and the leather in one face of the bag looks different from the original. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT QUALIFY to repair delicate purses. I did not take the purse back and now I am still waiting for an answer and a solution. It is been 4 months already without my bag. They never answer the phone and when I go to the place the managers are always on vacation, so nobody can give me a answer. My bag was brand new, I took it literally with plastics inside, I wear them twice and It got the scratches and now looks like and old purse. I rather to leave it with the scratches if I had known this. This is happening in THE COBBLERS ***.

The Worst Business Ever! Beware I sent a pair of nude Christian Louboutin - - Lady Peep Toe pumps to this business on 4/13/22. One shoe had a squeaky sound, that I wanted fixed. They suggested repainting both shoes (because of a slight pen mark) and adding the red grip to the bottom. I agreed. They sent back my shoes on 6/11/22 with the color uneven and with the squeak. They agreed to a complementary redo at no additional cost to repair the color and squeak. My shoes were received on 6/27/22 because it took them over a week to send me a return label. It is now 11/28/22 and I have not received any communication regarding my shoes. *** made several attempts to contact them and no one has responded. This company is still promoting their business via email and InstaGram. I see the advertisement and emails all the time. Although, I was told in August they were severally backed up and did not have enough staff to cover the work load. At this point I want my shoes back and the total cost to repair the paint damage they caused. This is so unprofessional. I really wanted this to work out. I wish I would leave zero stars

I sent two pairs of sneakers for repair. They sent one back without having done anything to them(charged me for it anyways) and the second pair STILL hasn't been returned to me and this was in August. No one responds to the text message they tell you to contact them by. I'm seeking legal action.

I sent a Louis *** pochette Mtis bag to them for repair of the lock on Oct. 12. They quoted a 30 days turn around of services, Nov. 12 as my expected date of completion. At Nov12 they had moved the completion date to January 2023. I cancelled the order Nov 17. They website says within 72 hours they will let you know your tracking number of the returned merchandise. Its now Nov 30 and there is no tracking, no returned emails or texts or Instagram messaging. They are unreachable! At this point I consider my bag stolen. Avoid this business at any cost.

The Cobblers Beware of this company!

Beware of this company! They start with the best customer service, they made me feel like my shoes (***) would be in good hands and repaired in a timely fashion. I expressed to them that a needed the shoes to be returned by this coming Monday August 8th and was told to pay an extra $15 for a rush service. Still I was happy with the customer service. I decided to move on so I shipped my shoes on 7/20/22 and by Wednesday 7/27 I received a link saying my shoes were ready and I could pay and my item would be sent back immediately. This is when everything turned, my shoes still havent been returned and my money was taken from my account. My daughters sweet 16 is Monday and she now has no shoes. Every time I call I get a run around and nothing get resolved. This company should be discredited because they are liars and scammers!

I sent my Chanel tote to The Cobblers in August 2022. I paid repair and I never received my bag. Chats with agents assured me it was on the way several times in Sept and October 2022. I have been trying to get them to return my bag for 16 months and it has been exhausting hearing the same delays. On a whim today I searched eBay and sure enough my bag is listed. I have the original COA and number matches plus the repair was done. I am not sure if The Cobblers are involved a criminal enterprise with Rebag but I am furious. I am waiting on responses from Rebag, Cobblers and eBay. BUYER BEWARE.

My items were lost since April, finally they agreed to replace the items but it wouldn't be new , so we agreed on a price for my items, once the agreement took place , I haven't heard from them again , it's been two months since we agreed on the payment and now you can no longer reach them by phone , you have to text them and they will return your text in 24 hours, at least that's what they say. No one is responding to my emails now , it's sad .I'm definitely thinking about getting me a lawyer at this point.

Horrible customer service. Only received 1 item back. I have contacted them numerous times to never get a response. Currently waiting for the return of my *** belt and cannot get in contact with anyone. They sent a link that you are supposed to communicate with them and when I did finally get a response they said dont worry and nothing else. DO NOT SEND ANY ITEMS TO THIS COMPANY. They have had my belt since August and was told would only take 30 days.

The Cobblers I mailed my sneakers here on may 19th to be restored and it took so long for them to even get to service them

I mailed my sneakers here on may 19th to be restored and it took so long for them to even get to service them. I try emailing and messaging them and they take forever to answer you. I tried to be patient at first but they finally started the service close to the end of July or so the website says. It took for me disputing my charge with my bank for them to want to ship back my item and I know my shoes are gonna come back unserviced I dont care tho because if all I had to do was dispute a charge to make you move faster when I told them repeatedly I need my item and dont mind paying extra to have the item serviced quicker. This place will hold your stuff storage until they feel like working on it . Your better off going somewhere else to get your items serviced. They took so long with my sneakers I almost thought about going to flight club to rebuy the same shoe.

I sent in 4 pairs of shoes in august. I was profusely promised that I would get a certain pair back by early September as they were for my wedding. Immediately there were problems, the shoes never got repaired I was told by *** the customer service people are idiots and this isnt something they do? He apparently rush ordered my shoes I ended up paying more (over $600) and I finally received my shoes back in time for my wedding.all in the same condition I sent them in. I also sent a pair of Chanel flats and I havent received them and whenever I try to reach out to the company no one responds. They scammed me out of $600 and stole my Chanel flats.

The communication is completely off with this company. I sent in 2 bags for repair, received and invoice for 2 bags, paid it, and only received one. I've contacted them via email and text messages on the website at least 50 times and received NO response. I've ONLY gotten a response via Instagram but they still didn't provide me with much information. Their *** reviews are horrible. I wish I would've done my research on this company before sending in my valuable items. has notified me about my other handbag that I did not receive and at this point this is considered Theft and Fraud. I'm very dissatisfied with the customer service and communication. This company should be shut down.

This is horrible business and everyone needs to be aware ! They first promise to finish within 60 days. Ive been patiently waiting and have never gotten a response. Finally after almost 90 days they sent me an invoice of how much I owe . There is no picture of my product and again no response of communication from the business. I have a feeling they are in financial problems and collecting money before they declare bankruptcy. Please beware. I sent in a *** bag and I hope I can somehow get compensated.

The Cobblers Never have I had such a horrific experience with a cobbler/refurbishing practice

Never have I had such a horrific experience with a cobbler/refurbishing practice. If i could give this place -5 stars, I would. They began incredibly communicative, until I requested confirmation of my purses arrival. From then on they have neglected to respond entirely. I have done chat windows, I have emailed over EIGHT times, I have called twice, left voicemails, I had begun to think they were a scam and robbed me. I repeatedly pleaded with them, explaining in every email, that this purse had sentimental value. My grandmother had gifted me this before her passing. Never have I experienced such carelessness, especially when you are in the industry of refurbishing sentimental/luxury items. This business needs to be SHUT DOWN. They are UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE, AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR SENTIMENTAL ITEMS UNLESS YOU SHOW THEM THE MONEY.

NEVER GO HERE. I am posting on every social media platform about how horribly this company treats their customers and products.

The Cobblers I wish I had seen all these reviews before sending my shoes and handbags to this awful place!

I wish I had seen all these reviews before sending my shoes and handbags to this awful place! They have had 7 of my items for over 3 months now and I have called repeatedly to get status on my order. They just told me the repairs were done and said they are waiting for payment. I asked them to send me pictures of the repair work on all the items and they said operations are so backed up so unless I send the money now they are not sure how long it will take to send me pictures. There are no managers to talk to just the ladies that answer the phones- when you can get through. I am now on hold I have asked to have them call directly to the "operations' group to get a definitive date as to when I will be receiving the completed repair pictures. I also did notice that the pictures they sent to me of the original items they were not even of the areas that I needed repair. Is this place a big scam? Their advertising is slick and they are all over instagram touting the amazing job they do but where are the before and after pictures! I've been on hold for over 30 minutes now and no one has come on the line . I will NEVER use these people again and never recommend this place to anyone! I just want my stuff!

The Cobblers Unprofessional team, not a legit business

Unprofessional team, not a legit business.I was stupid enough to send in 2 chanel handbags. My first chanel WOC got send in in march and got a confirmation from them march 23 that they had my chanel WOC. It is now end of August still not received my bags back. I have email them many times but keep getting the reply that they will look into it and get back to me. My 2nd bag is a Chanel Classic I ordered it to be all black. I received it back with missing areas inside the bag. They didnt paint the pocket inside and more areas the dye that they had done looked bad, it looked like black leather dye you can do for your shoes. But at this point the bag is already ruined so I send it back for a redo but not satisfied with the outcome. I got a label from them to send it back for a redo and was promised the turnaround time would only be 14 days. I send it in early July it has now been more than 5 weeks. Again when I email to ask they keep telling me they will look into it and get back to me but no ever tell me whats happening. I paid $850 for my chanel classic to get black dye and is supposed to pay another 450 for my WOC.They have been having my bags for 5 months now. If needed I can provide all the emails I have been sending them names on different managers that keep promising to look into it and get back which never happens.

The Cobblers I have heard about this company through Instagram and decided to reach out to get two pairs of louboutins worked on

I have heard about this company through Instagram and decided to reach out to get two pairs of louboutins worked on. They quoted me 10 days and didn't get my shipment until the last week of December, which was 2.5 months later. I was out of town on business and had not been able to inspect the quality of work up until now (January). I'm really happy with my black pair; however, with my tan pair, they look 100% unfinished. I'm not a cobbler, but I think I could've done a better job. The sole sticks out on the side and doesn't look finished as there's bare leather sticking out. I've compared the finished product to the original shoe and I think they destroyed a $900 pair of shoes. I've reached out multiple times to this company in regards to shipment times and needing my shoes for certain business meetings. Nothing. I'm currently reaching out to them in regards to the quality of work. Nothing. Ive emailed, messaged them on Instagram, called them, and messaged them through customer support to only be disappointed. I still have heard nothing. If they focused less on social media and marketing, and hired more qualified help in the customer service department as well as cobbling, this company would be much more successful. Loyalty to customers is everything in business. Unfortunately, this does not happen here. Please go get your cobbling needs done elsewhere.

The Cobblers A waste of time and money

A waste of time and money. I sent in a brand new pair of D & G heels in because I made the mistake of trying them on outside. They received them on 3/17. They will communicate with with you and be so nice up until they receive your money. Once they receive your money there is no more communication unless you call, text, email, and then write on their Instagram page for days. I just received my shoes back today on 4/28. When they would reach out it would be for more money. I wish I would of never sent them to this company. There is a stain on the side of my shoe that will not come off. These were brand new and only needed the soles to be refinished so there shouldn't be anything on the sides/back of my heels. I looked at the soles and it "appears" that the pebbles & paint was fixed. Other than that the sole that they applied is something I could of done myself by viewing YouTube videos. Even a corner of the textured sole they applied is lifting up and the bottom of my shoe color is literally attached to the sole meaning the refinish was pointless if it was just going to peel off. I will never deal with this company again and they honestly need to shut down until they have the appropriate staff that are able to communicate and cobblers that actually know what they're doing. I really deserve my money back and will NEVER allow them to touch anything that I own again.

The Cobblers Absolutely awful experience

Absolutely awful experience. I sent my *** 10 retro to be re-glued on April 7th. The cost for this process was $150, I was told it would take 2 weeks. I understand everyone is short handed right now so I anticipated some sort of delay, however no communication was made on extended turn around time. I received my shoes on May 13th & the work was terrible. They arrived unglued & soiled from the adhesive or product they used. The glue was thick and appeared to be "blobbed" on in some areas. Overall they did a bad job, other parts of the shoe are stained from the glue, & of course, damaging the integrity of the shoe. I contacted them by email and explained my situation that same day. The customer representative responded that she would get back with me. After not hearing from anyone after 4 days I emailed again and asked for a refund so I could try to find someone local to fix what they couldn't. She responded that they were working on something. 5 days later no reponse. I tried calling no answer. Poor communication throughout. It apparently is impossible for them to email someone or call someone back, basic customer service is lost with this company. Avoid this company at all cost, I should have listened to the other reviewers, would have saved me time & money. My order number is #*** in case they are wondering, but I seriously doubt it since they have such poor customer service.

The Cobblers This was the worst experience Iv ever received

This was the worst experience Iv ever received. The short of the long. They never confirmed receipt, after I sent bag (apprehensively) I didnt get a tracking number so I could track the progress (their selling point) I called to inquire 2 weeks later, they couldnt give me a tracking number, because they lost my vintage *** bag, I was told by *** to find a bag similar, they would replace it. I told them they could not replace a vintage bagmysteriously, they found it, asked me to send photos again. Fast forward, I got my bag today, and what a disappointment! They did an absolutely messy, botched up job, they didnt even attempt to do the work that was agreed upon during initial consultation. It was really bad, Trust me, I am not exaggerating. To make matters worse, yesworse! They sent me someones LV handbag. And their bag looked worse than mine. Actually, I dont know if they even attempted to do the work. Perhaps, they didit was poorly put together and botched as mine was. Sothe owner of the Louis *** handbag is probably looking and waiting for their bag right? Im waiting to hear back from the cobblers to get a full refund and a shipping label to ship this bag that doesnt belong to me back to them in hopes the owner will get it back! What an experienceNO THANK YOU! Best wishes to all who *** with these folk. It takes one time for me, the experience was very stressful and not worth it.

The Cobblers This company do PATCH Work ONLY!

This company do PATCH Work ONLY! I sent them my LV (Louis *** purse that had damage to the bottom right corner they assured me they could restore my purse, ever charged extra for them to match the leather. Once they receive my bag, they sent me an email to let me know they had received my purse along with a picture of my item, the picture didnt show my damage area and somehow I thought that was strange, but didnt think anymore of it. One week of them having my purse I received an email stating my purse was ready and for me to send payment, I called and asked if I could see pictures of my now restored purse and this is when the run around begin. I was told the email was sent in error that my purse wasnt actually ready, that I would be contacted again once its ready to ship. I told them I wanted to see what had been done at this point (because I was told I would be updated on every step of the process. Big Lie) they assured me someone would be in contact, I was never contacted by anyone. I called back a week later and was given the same run around. I ask them to at least add pictures so I can see the progress they assured me they would but never did. 1 month of them having my purse without any communication I asked them to please return me my purse even if it wasnt repaired. The person I was speaking with hung the phone up on me I tried calling back but didnt get answer this went on for about 2 weeks. I tried emailing them at the cobbler support email address but kept getting bound back still not getting answer when I called the number its now going on 2 months of them having my purse with no communication no update or nothing. My purse was sent in at the end of June and on August 3rd I got an email saying my purse was ready and to send payment and they still didnt add any pictures of my purse so I just paid the money because I really just wanted my purse back and when I receive it back I receive it back in worse condition. I have pictures.

The Cobblers I was sent a *** label to send my items for repair in June 2022

I was sent a *** label to send my items for repair in June 2022. I sent the items (a Black leather MCM hobo bag & a pink fabric *** tote) via the label provided and the items show they were delivered and signed for by someone at the business location on 6/20/2022 via tracking 1z0E041E0397222313. On 6/22 & 6/23 I received emails reminding me to ship my items, I email support asking why am I receiving these emails and to confirm my items were there, I received a response from *** on 6/24 stating that I can ignore the messages, the information was updated and I would not receive anymore email reminders. I then received an email on 6/27, 6/30, 7/2, & 7/12 reminding me again to send my items. I forwarded the email from *** on 6/24 asking again what is the status of my items. on 7/26 I sent. text message asking the status if my items, I received a response stating my items were being serviced and the turn around time is around 30 business days. I contacted the company in July 2022. I sent 3 pairs of shoes to get cleaned and I did not receive them until December 2022. I repeatedly contacted the company about the lack of communication on their part about the excessive amount of time it took to complete service. Once I inspected the shoes they were not cleaned properly and they forgot to return a small bag that had studs to have them replaced. I have contacted them about this and they do not respond. They are only via text support now which says a lot for a business. I have not paid and do not wish to do so due to the fact that the service was awful and they still have an item of mine.

Do NOT send these people your items. I had found the site through Instagram, I asked for the consultation and we had the video call. I spoke with their representative and we had come to agreement for my wife's speedy repair. We would repair some piping, and clean other areas, agreed upon price of $600.00 which seemed fair. I had thought and after 2 weeks decided to proceed, I opted for their "white glove service". Within 20 minutes the "roadie driver" texted me they were on their way, this was November 6th, the driver picked up the package and left. That was the last I saw of my bag, no more communication from the driver or the cobblers. I messaged their site (which is a text number) for the past month and a week, there has been no replies. I checked here and the owner says to contact them through their site, but they never reply. This business is a scam, they stole my bag which had great sentimental value for my wife and I and now we are just looking like fools who were scammed out of their Louis Vuitton. I pray that some legal recourse happens as this is theft.

The Cobblers The Cobblers received my Saint Laurent bag for clasp repair, but its return is delayed.

My bag was shipped for repair on 7/14/22 and the next day I got an email confirming The Cobblers had received my Saint Laurent black large envelope bag. They initially told me repairs could take up to 45 business days. On 7/31/22, I got a thank-you email, but no completion notice. I asked for an update and was told it takes about 30 business days. Another thank-you email arrived on 8/30/22 with a new order number. I've since contacted them multiple times without a clear update on my $3,000 handbag. Local police note several complaints about this company. My order history shows TC70946. I fear I may not get my bag back after an estimated $45 repair. I need assistance as the company is unresponsive and direct contact is impossible. I no longer seek repairs; I just want my bag returned.

In August , I made an order with The Cobblers for a restoration. At this time, I paid fully and my item was shipped back to me. I have the receipt and bank statements showing this. A year later, in November 2022, I began receiving emails from The Cobblers to pay for my item. I reached out via email, the website chat system, and telephone explaining that I had paid over a year ago, but received no response from the company. I have since been charged on my credit card for the invoice, which I have paid in full a year ago. In summary: I am being charged again a year later for a purchase I made and paid for in 2021. My multiple attempts to reach out to the company about this issue has gone unanswered. I have both receipt and bank statements showing that I have already paid in full.

I sent this company 2 LV bags in July 2022 This was after I had a video conference with a salesperson and after sending 2 photos. I received 1 bag back that needed minimal repair. It came in a box with nothing else, no invoice, no note, nothing to tell me what was done and the status of the remaining bag. I had called and messaged the company at least 20 times. Only got to talk to customer service once. She could not give me an answer on the remaining bag and suggested if it's there it will be returned. I just received the other bag today, December 8th. I was relieved it was finally here. I open the box, no invoice, no note on the repair. I take the bag out of the box and look at it. NOTHING was done to it. NO repair. I am furious. They have scammed me and I want the refund of $435.00 and they charged me this on September 12th, 2022. I wish I could call them, they changed it and now you can only leave messages. All of my emails, and messages, no one got back to me with a status, nor a phone call.

On September 28, 2022, I agreed to send in my $1800 Saint Laurent tote bag for a repair to The Cobblers. My package was shipped on October 7 and received by the company on October 13, 2022. For the repair, I paid $400 as agreed upon and the initial communications I received indicated that I would receive my bag back within 45 days.

On November 7, 2022, I received an email that my repair was complete and my order has shipped. I was provided a tracking number which I have been checking for over a month. The tracking number has only been updated once, on November 7, and it says that the label was created but the carrier has not received the package.

Since November 29, 2022, I have been trying to contact the company. I have called, emailed, and texted their 'contact us' phone numbers. Their phone number and email indicate that the only way to contact them is through text message. I have sent a text message every day for the last 10 days and have still not received a response.

At this point, I have also reached out to my credit card company and received a refund of the $400 I paid for the repair. What I would like is my bag returned. I would prefer to just have the bag I sent returned to me; at this point, I don't care if it has been repaired or if it is returned in the same torn condition. If the company does not return my bag, I would like for them to compensate me for the cost of the bag, which was $1800.

ts crazy leaving this review after them servicing my items over the last year or two but now i don't what has happened but this Company is in absolute shambles, "unorganized" would be an absolute understatement. They should be shut down! with just how bad they're computer system is. They've sent my shoes to me before paid for but unfinished. They've charged me 3 different times on a order before. This right here what I'm experiencing currently (10/12/2022) Is Truly poor and disgusting honestly, sickens me how unprofessional these people are and you have the audacity to have a business?. *** members who are robots and have no urgency over any matter and give you the same "we'll get back to you" response. I'm so sick and tired of the run around and am currently in process of hiring a lawyer to get all 3 items back or a FULL REIMBURSEMENT FOR EVERYTHING. Only 2 hours away from them. Whether they are serviced or not. They are my property! I sent 3 pairs of sneakers there total within the last 3 months. One was shipped to them and arrived at their facility July 19th (STILL WAITING). The other was shipped to them and arrived at their facility August 16th (STILL WAITING). The last one is allegedly "getting serviced" but it was shipped & received by them September 1st. I tried to give these people a chance with so much going on in the world and of course other people wanting services done as well but at the end of the day. WE are all paying customers! The real reason why your business exists in the first place! EVERYONE should be treated with dignity and respect. WE work hard for our money! not to have this company take it and our items as well. I will definitely never condone anyone EVER do business with these people. i for one will make it my priority tell people the real truth when they ask about this place! I guarantee it!

I sent them two Louis Vuitton bags for cleaning, which have an estimated current value of $6500.00. I paid $780 after being notified that the service was completed. They provided a link and assured me that I would receive the tracking numbers for the return shipment, but I never did. I have confirmation that they received my items on October 11th. Unfortunately, there is no way to contact them by phone, and their customer support only sends out system-generated messages in response to every email. These vintage bags are my property, and I want them returned. I've exhausted all available contact options provided by the company, including reaching out through their social media pages and sending multiple emails. I've even attempted to initiate new business as a strategy to engage with them directly, but to no avail. No one has reached out to me, and I urgently need my items returned.

I sent them two *** GM bags. The monogram and the Damier. I want them to fix my straps and handles. They stated they were goin to send me pictures of the bags after they were fixed. They kept requesting payment. So I asked they where are the done picutres, never received at all. When I paid them the $770 dollars. I still requested pictures, they just my bags to me. When I took my bags out the box, They only fixed my handles on both my bag. They never fixed my straps. When I called them to complain they tried to tell that is a different fee. I stated to them I asked to fix my bags, but half do a job. They were suppose to get back to me. I video chat with someone on Nov. 9/20. I emailed the woman to touch base. No response, I tried called, setting up another video, nothing. They have completely ghosted me and took my money. I work very hard for everything that I have. To take my money and try not respond to me, is completely wrong and unprofessional.

My item was received by them months ago... I should have known by the fact that it took weeks for them to get the shipping of my bag to them organized. They sent my 7 boxes. All the same size. None fit my bag. I had to get my own box and ship myself. They have had my bag for months and months.. I have sent messages via text, insta, email and called. They have sent me a bill but will not respond to my request for pictures of proof that they even still HAVE my $6,000 bag much less that they have repaired it. I have tried at least 20 times to get a human and I get zero response. I now believe they have stolen my bag and that they think I am stupid enough to also PAY them and additional $300

This was the second time I have used The Cobblers. The first time I had no issues and they repaired my LV Zippy wallet, provided updates constantly as well as pictures. I decided to use them again, so I contacted them and had a video call with a representative in early August 2022 - received a fair quote and sent my bag in on August 17th. The following week I received an email confirming that my bag was received by them on August 26th.

A few weeks went by and I realized I had not received any status updates. I logged into my account through their website and noticed nothing had been started. I contacted customer service and was given the run around for weeks. Then, I logged into my account on October 3rd and saw that they had changed the actual received date of my bag to October 3rd, almost two months after it was actually received by them.

I contacted customer service again and on October 6th was told I would get an update and that an estimated time of arrival for my bag was November 2nd. I contacted them again on November 4th and received no response. Here it is December 6th, and still no update, no photos, no communication, nothing showing my bag when it was received or anything!

Now, when you log on to the website I get contradicting information; on one screen it says my bag is still being 'repaired', then on another screen it says 'completed'. I can't get anyone to respond through chat features or on social media. The company has turned off all commenting. I am not the only one upset by this company. I am ready to call the police and file theft charges against them. My bag cost over $2000 BN when I bought it back in 2016! It was in excellent condition when I sent it in, again, all I needed done was to re-wrap the handles because there was separation.

I am worried my bag will be in worse shape than when I sent it in. I am disgusted with the lack of communication and professionalism by The Cobblers. I want someone to contact me!

The Cobblers On or about August 4, 2022, I had a virtual consultation with The Cobblers to discuss repairing a designer handbag

On or about August 4, 2022, I had a virtual consultation with The Cobblers to discuss repairing a designer handbag. I was told that the repair would cost $95 and that I would pay for the repair after it was complete. I agreed to move forward with the repair and shipped the handbag using the prepaid label provided by The Cobblers. On August 11, 2022, I received an update that The Cobblers had received my handbag and were beginning work.On August 16, 2022, I received an update that "[My] Order is Ready" and to complete payment for the item to ship back to me. I completed payment ($110) that same day.On August 18, 2022, I received an update that my handbag had been shipped back to me. When I clicked "Track My Order," I see that a *** label has been created, but that the order has not shipped.Between August 18th and today, I have sent numerous emails and made many phone calls, but nobody is able to provide any update on the bag. I received incoherent email responses. For example, one email On August 20th stated, "Our IT Department is working on moving the delivery orders to pack your order for shipping to ship out. We do apologize we are having a glitch that stops us from sending it out as we need a label to ship out which our IT team is working on." Four days later an email stated "Your item is on cue for assessment with Quality Control Specialist. . . . After your assessment, you will receive a notification once your order is marked 'Done.'" The emails from The Cobblers make no sense and it it is clear that they do not know what the status is. Telephone calls are not helpful either. I am told that I will hear back from operations, but I never hear back.I am concerned that The Cobblers have either lost my bag, stolen my bag (and my money), or have no idea what is going on. At this point, I just want me bag returned, even if it isn't repaired.

I sent in a pair of *** shoes to The Cobblers and they received 10/17/22 for restoration. They do not provide a status, no confirmation emails and there is no one to talk to directly. The website reflected my order status was fully completed approximately 2 weeks ago and I paid a total of $182.14 on 11/23/22. I have yet to receive a response or any confirmation that my order has been shipped back to me. As of today 12/01/22, my order status is now showing that my refund and order cancellation is under review for someone to advise if it will be approved. This is UNACCEPTABLE! I have since submitted a fraud investigation with my bank to receive my money back. The company still has my shoes. There is no way to reach a direct person with this company, there's no option for email, call, or via the website. The company hasn't updated any of its social media since June 28. I've tried sending a direct message via social media and only keep receiving automated responses. I am requesting for the Complaintsboard.com to assist me in retrieving my shoes valued at $780 from this company.

Back in July 2022, I had send in my two Chanel handbag to The Cobblers to get repair. The customer representative promised me that I will get my items back within about 2-3 months. Until now Dec 2-2022 I still have not received my items. I tried to contact them many times but unsuccessful. They said at the moment the only communication is by text message. I send many texts and waiting for weeks still didnt get any reply. As it shown here it estimate the delivery I should receive my item back sometime on October ***.

I trusted two DIOR handbags with this company! I received one back which wasnt done great but I had already paid for both items. I was told on a video call that my other handbag was ready, but I have not received the item back! Now, Im unable to contact the company, there is no phone number only messages, its been over a month, and I still dont have my tan Dior back! Trying to contact this company is ridiculous! Very unprofessional to not have a call center with the amount of business they have now! Additionally, messages sent to the company have proven to be useless as they do not respond until 48 hours after asking for more information! I just would like to have my handbag back and I will never deal with this company AGAIN! Nor will I refer anyone to them either.

I sent my Saumur 35 purse to the Cobblers to be repaired. My order number is # TC with specific digits. I received an email on August 29, 2022, informing me that my purse was repaired. It took several weeks for them to send the purse back to me and today, I received a purse at my home, but it was not my purse. Subsequently, I received an email stating that an order with a certain number was delivered to me. The purse I got appears to be in poor condition and seems to have been sent in for repairs, then wrapped in a new cover with some tissue paper added. The vintage purse I sent in is valued at $1500, and I paid a total of $275 to The Cobblers for the repair service. The purse is listed on www.poshmark.com at a price of $1498.00. You can find it at the following link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Louis-Vuitton-Saumur-35-Monogram-61ddf7a55dfeb517588117d9?utm_source=gdm_men&utm_campaign=17730998592&campaign_id= with specific numbers &ad_partner=google&gskid=pla-[protected]&gcid=[protected]&ggid=[protected]&gdid=c&g_network=g&enable_guest_buy_flow=true&gclid=CjwKCAiAhKycBhAQEiwAgf19evzdkwWMPZQaEQhX0KUtp11Ky4PA1Vmk0xsLKWzR8lVTYeNZgd5KCBoCIzUQAvD_BwE. I am beyond disgusted with the service provided. I should have done my research before entrusting my purse to them. When you call the customer service number, it instructs you to send a text, as that is their only mode of communication, yet no one responds to the texts. I want my original purse returned to me. This situation is unacceptable. I am hoping that the owner reaches out to me to either return my purse or compensate me so I can replace it. I've noticed that all comments are disabled on their social media. If they are unable to manage the volume of business they receive, they should consider closing their website until they can catch up with their orders and properly train their staff, as indicated in a previous complaint.

The Cobblers I requested a consultation with The Cobblers around the end of May

I requested a consultation with The Cobblers around the end of May. I pointed out all the areas I wanted repaired, which included the corners, the cracks along the top, the peeling surface on the side, and the badly discolored handle. The representative agreed to the service, gave me a quote of approximately $850, and told me to expect a shipping label to my email. Once received, I shipped my purse on June 6th. I was notified that it was received on June 8th and was assigned TC Order #***. The initial estimated time of service was 45 days but could be sooner. However, my order took almost two months to complete. I received it back August 10th, only after I kept calling and emailing. I was super excited and anxious to see what my purse looked like with the world class restorations The Cobblers boast of providing, but I was most disappointed to realize those promises had not been fulfilled. They sealed a top binding over the top but did not fix the cracks as I had requested. They covered the corners but did not touch the peeling surface on the side or the discolored handle that were both addressed during the consultation. I immediately emailed customer support on August 11th explaining my disappointment. I was told they would notify the managers to create a complimentary redo service order and send me a return label to send back the item to be fixed. Around a week or so later Monday, August 29th, I received a call from a representative at 9:15p claiming to be following up. She eventually asked if it was ok if I paid $150 more to add the other repairs I wanted done. When I asked her why she had called me way outside of business hours claiming to be concerned and following up to ensure that my order was done properly, she quickly ended the call. I have emailed back and forth seeking resolution with this company to only receive empty promises but no resolution.

The Cobblers I contacted this company to inquire about repairing a luxury handbag (*** Vuitton) of mine

I contacted this company to inquire about repairing a luxury handbag (*** Vuitton) of mine. I immediately got a response back via text and they describe the process and asked for a deposit fee of my choice, that would later be applied towards the repair cost of the handbag. I agree to having them do the repair and sent them a $50 deposit. I immediately decided NOT to do business with them and reached out to The Cobblers and ask them cancel my order and to refund my $50 deposit. It took them several days to respond to my request. I finally got a text message back, agreeing to refund my $50 along with a formal email letter describing all the refund details and that $50 WAS refunded back to my account. Two weeks later I still have not gotten the $50 refund they promised. Once again, I had to reach out via text, (There is no other means of contact with this company other than through text.) and again, It took several days before I received a second response via text. This time,I received a automated response via text message and to go through a link to send them the item number for the $50 refund for which I did. I still have not gotten a reply back. I realize at this point, this is company runs a scam operation. They have no intentions of sending me my $50 refund, but instead have unsuspecting customers jumping through hoops to receive their money back. I want this company to be held responsible for misleading customers about their services, lying about their intentions to REFUND monies that are owed to customers and operating an unethical and unscrupulous operation. All Im asking for is my $50 refund that they promised me and they still have not given that to me.

The Cobblers In July, I reached out to The Cobblers to inquire about repairing a high-end tote bag.

In July, I reached out to The Cobblers, who are located in an undisclosed area, to inquire about repairing a high-end tote bag with a retail value of $1500. They responded via text, confirming the repair and stating they would send shipping materials. On 7/6, I received a shipping label, and by 7/7, my package was confirmed as shipped. On 7/12, they acknowledged receipt of my handbag and sent a photo of it. On 7/27, they emailed me about the ongoing service, with completion expected by 8/11. However, on 8/1, they notified me of a delay. On 8/16, they requested payment, mistakenly attaching a photo of shoes instead of my handbag. I pointed out the error and requested the correct photo. On 8/17, they replied, stating it would take time to locate the photo. I insisted they proceed. On 8/20, they sent an invoice without photos. On 8/28, they sent photos of an old, worn-out handbag. I responded on 8/30, clarifying that the bag was not mine and was in poor condition. On 8/31, they apologized, claiming they had my purse and that the mix-up was a mistake, yet they sent the original photo of my handbag, not a current one. After no updates, I paid the $575 invoice on 9/21 through PayPal to retrieve my bag. They emailed on 9/22, saying my handbag was shipped. On 9/29, I received the dilapidated handbag previously pictured. Despite paying and numerous emails, I have yet to resolve this issue with The Cobblers, who I now suspect to be fraudulent.

The Cobblers Sent designer shoes for minor repair, found company's scam

I sent my designer shoes, valued at $475 and purchased on 6/4/22, to the cobblers on 6/17/22 for a minor leather repair. After confirming receipt and repair commencement, I followed up post-repair deadline and was told they needed more time. Weeks of silence prompted further inquiries, but I received no response. Concerned, I researched and discovered numerous complaints about lost or poorly repaired items. Allegations of scams, such as claiming lost goods and pocketing insurance money, were rampant. The company's ads boasted premium refurbishment services, but my experience was the opposite. They informed me my shoes were lost in transit, promised a refund by mid-October, yet I received nothing. Escalating the issue, I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Subsequently, I was emailed a photo of my shoes, now missing the designer label and still unrepaired. I suspect they're stripping labels for counterfeits and exploiting insurance for lost packages. After 19 weeks, my shoes haven't been returned. Despite contacting the owner, who deflects blame onto employees, I believe the company is engaged in scams, false advertising, and potentially aiding counterfeit production. I've reported their Instagram handle for scamming and continue to warn others.

The Cobblers I reached out to the Cobblers on Sept

I reached out to the Cobblers on Sept. 2nd for repair of a lv bag, and three pieces of luggage. We scheduled a video consult on Sept. 3rd at which time an agreement was made to move forward with the repairs. I was sent two separate mailing slips. One for the luggage on rollers as I was told would take the longest to repair (#***) and the other slip for a duffle bag and lv (#***) that should have a quicker repair time turnaround. I shipped all items on 9/6 and received a confirmation that they were received on 9/8. I then received another email stating the repair had begun on 9/12. I received an email on 10/6 stating that order TC*** was completed (duffle and LV) at which time the payment was made. I received my LV bag a week later but not my duffle bag. After another week passed and still no duflle, I called and spoked to King *** The Cobblers at that time received calls, therefore I was able to speak to King. The first time I called he informed me that the duffle bag was finished but that it was at another warehouse in *** and was in process to be shipped to the location where he was, once that happened then they would mail it out to me. Another week went by and still no duffle, I contacted *** again, and he said that he attempted to contact the manager of the shipping department but that he's been unresponsive. I received emails from King on 10/14 and 10/26 basically stating that he does not have an update. The first few days in November I tried reaching out to King however The Cobblers have since resorted to a texting system making it impossible to speak directly to a representative. I have sent two text messages, a FB DM, and two emails all of which have not been responded to. If my bag is lost, I want the repair cost refunded to me along with the price of the bag itself. I would also like my remaining luggage set (#***) returned to me as I lack all confidence in this company and wish to discontinue my business with them.

The Cobblers I sent in 2 pair of shoes and a handbag for repair in May 2022

I sent in 2 pair of shoes and a handbag for repair in May 2022. To date I have only revived 2 of the 3 items. I received an email stating my items were ready and to submit payment and so I did. I reached out via email and by phone several times before receiving 2 of my 3 items and and was told they were being processed. After I reached out to someone once payment was submitted I was told my red bottoms are not yet complete but they will send the 2 items that were completed. I told them that I will wait and to send all 3 items together and of course that did not happen as they sent the 2 items any way. After review info the 2 items I looked them both over and my red YSL bag was not up to my standards of repair and not theirs also as they advertise but I refused to discuss further as it had already been close to 3 months so I decided to just deem it as a list as I was not about to send another item to them when they had not sent my 3rd item to me.While wearing the silver shoes they supposedly repaired the strap broke in public.I called to discuss a refund and an update on my red bottoms. I was refunded for the *** we shoes and the red bottoms because I was going back and forth with them too much that I was over it. I canceled repair to the red bottoms and asked for a tracking number asap and she told me that I would have to wait for operations or warehouse team to provide that.Still had not received any updates from anyone after several request to have a manger call me. All calls were made by me and not once did they call me for updates or simply anything. This company is a fraud and do not need to be in business.I still do not have my red bottoms and I have been calling and calling and nothing. They even began to not *** my calls when calling from my cel phone so I used other numbers and they would answer.I requested to speak with a manger twice and held for over na hour both times for the when to come back and say they are unavailable.Send my shoes

The Cobblers On May 26, 2022, I reached out & had a video consultation with the cobblers for my dior wallet

On May 26, 2022, I reached out & had a video consultation with the cobblers for my dior wallet. I was informed that the services would cost $315. I shipped my item with the prepaid shipping label. I then received an email on June 7 explaining that they had not received my package. I sent a screenshot via email indicating that my wallet was received at their warehouse on June 3. On June 9 I received an email indicating that my package was received on June 7 & that they will begin working on it. On Aug 22, I received an email stating that the estimated time of arrival for my wallet would be Sept 24 & that they are still working on the item. On October 8, I called & then texted them asking for an update, & was informed that it was still being processed. I called again on Oct 12 & they indicated that my item was done & all I to make a payment. Due to the inconvenience, I was given a gift card credit of $50 because I waited three months for service when it was promised for 45 days. At that time I made an error & paid twice via affirm & once via PayPal. I was credited $530 for the two affirm errors & the company kept the $265 payment via PayPal. On Oct 15 I reached out to ask the company for shipping info. They indicated an IT error of nonpayment & that it would be corrected for shipping ASAP. I reached out Oct 17 & received no response then on Oct 21 I reached out & received a response stating they are waiting to ship out my item. On Oct 26 I reached out again & was told that they are still waiting for the shipping department to ship out my order. I reached out on Nov 7 & was told that I had to make a payment. I sent screenshots of my receipts & also told them that I would be reaching out to the Complaintsboard.com. At that time, I was immediately given a tracking number & was told that my item looked beautiful. I received my item on Nov 10 & no work had been done & was sent in the original wrapping i used with the labels still attached. I reached out, asking for a

The Cobblers I contacted Cobblers in August 2022 to perform service on my 2 Louboutin heels

I contacted Cobblers in August 2022 to perform service on my 2 Louboutin heels. One pair needed the heel fixed and the upper part of the shoes refinished (white shoes was beginning to look yellow) & the second pair needed the heel fixed. I spoke with a representative about the type of service the shoes needed and the pricing. I was told the shoes would take 1 month to complete. I sent the shoes in to Cobblers and they received them on 8/30, & the confirmation email stated that my item will be ready to be shipped back to me on 9/29. On 9/15 I received an email that my order was ready. I sent them a message for pictures of the finished product, which I did not receive I went online and paid for the service for both shoes. I was NOT told that only 1 shoes was completed & I was asked for payment for both, which I paid. On 9/17 I received a text message that one of my shoes is still in service with an ETA of 9/29. I was confused because why would they make me pay the full service price if one shoes was still in service. On 9/21 I received my shipment of the 1st set of heels. The upper part of the shoes still had the same yellowing as when I sent in the shoe. I sent a message about my issue on 9/21 & they replied asking me for pictures, which I sent. I never received a reply about the issue after that. On 9/29 I sent a message asking for an update/tracking # for my other shoes that was still in their possession. On 10/3 I was told that the shoes are still being worked on. I called Cobblers on 10/19 & spoke to King *** who said the shoes was still in service and that he was requesting an update from the operations department & would get back to me ASAP. On 10/27 I tried to call for another update as it had been a week, but no answer. I sent an email to King *** no answer. I tried calling again the phone # was disconnected so I went on the site & got the new #. The phone rings busy so I texted the number & still no reply. I think they lost my shoes. Order #TC71695

The Cobblers I mailed a pair of shoes to this business in May 2022; they indicated a 2 month timeline for the restoration

I mailed a pair of shoes to this business in May 2022; they indicated a 2 month timeline for the restoration. At the end of 2 months I contacted them; they said another month please. I contacted them at the end of months; they said "we are still working on it." (In my mind it is getting sketchy. The work looked like it might be accomplished in *** hours max; months?)Finally received the shoes back between 4-5 month timeline. The shoelaces I mailed the shoes in with were missing and the workmanship was Horrendous; patches sewn onto damaged areas that were already starting to fray before removing from box, and a large hole that I specifically requested repair on just has some random thread stitched in it or around it? (Hard to tell what the repair approach even was...)There was a specific scope of work for this $278 effort, and the work and the service utterly fails.I began a lengthy back-and-forth email exchange with "***" about seeking a partial refund for the work; 50% was my suggestion I believe. They asked me to send the shoes back for more attention; after a 5 month wait and extremely poor execution, this seemed like a surefire way for them to destroy my shoes completely. At one point, *** said she was going to have a service manager get back to me; nothing. Then she said the *** would be in touch; nothing. It is one completely phony made up excuse after another(!), designed for certain in my mind, to frustrate weary consumers into giving up.Then the email exchange terminates completely (on November 1, 2022) and the final message is "we currently provide customer service through messaging only" along with a web address that takes you to their website.Terrible product that does not come close to the "Professional H6***8*8*2*0*9*5H/Artisans" that they claim to be, and service that is nonexistent beyond offering (what must be) a steady stream of planned and canned excuses.Once they have your money, their service ceases.

The Cobblers I brought my shoes to The Cobblers for repair, but they failed to ship them as promised.

I brought my shoes to The Cobblers store for repairs, specifically black nudistcurve ankle strap sandal heels, around August 15, 2022. The shoes were nearly new, requiring only heel repair, and I paid for new soles, costing about $250. The original price was $450. In the store, I arranged for the shoes to be shipped to my home early September and provided my address multiple times. A month later, I was informed via text that my shoes were ready. After struggling to contact the store, I reminded them to ship my shoes. Another month passed without a shipping confirmation or shoes. I reached out again and spoke with a customer service representative who provided a tracking number. However, the tracking details were unclear, and it turned out the package was sent to a different address and delivered on October 22, 2022. I never provided that address. Following this, I've repeatedly tried to contact The Cobblers to no avail. They've transitioned to online-only customer service, and my attempts through text messages and emails have been ignored. I've even filed a missing package claim. The lack of response and the failed shipment lead me to believe this business is engaging in fraudulent activities. I've lost $700 and much effort trying to resolve this issue, and it seems I'm not the only one affected.
