My hubby got in a car crash like 4 months back
My hubby got in a car crash like 4 months back. We sent in the papers and they said they'd process it. But we still ain't got no payment yet. We're in a tight spot and need some help ASAP!
Took me 8 and a half months for them to finally pay the finance company
Took me 8 and a half months for them to finally pay the finance company. Every excuse in the world. This made me have to pay 8 months of payments on a totaled car? If I could give it no stars, I would.
We purchased Gap Insurance from a dealership in Cumberland, WI in 2017
We purchased Gap Insurance from a dealership in Cumberland, WI in 2017. Our car was totaled in August . Trying to get the insurance provider in Oak Brook, IL to cover the claim has been a nightmare. Despite sending all documents via email and mail, the mail was returned as undeliverable, and emails seem ignored. The dealership has not been supportive. Our bank demands $1944.90, impacting our credit score. Despite paying for coverage, our claim remains unpaid. Caution against this dealership and the insurance provider.
I gotta say, if I could give ZERO stars to EQUI PRO, I would
I gotta say, if I could give ZERO stars to EQUI PRO, I would. Got myself a 2016 BMW from Certified Benz & Beemer in Scottsdale, Arizona and the dealer recommended EQUI PRO Gap Insurance. But let me tell you, their customer service is a total F. The receptionist, who's also the claims rep, is the only person you can talk to and she doesn't know jack. I sent all the docs they asked for via email and certified mail. When I followed up, the receptionist/claims rep/know-nothing said I still needed to email one more doc over (which I already sent twice, 3 and 2 weeks prior) and they hadn't even opened the email yet to start processing the claim. And get this, I asked for a call back from the claims rep multiple times and never got one. The only thing I got was a post mail saying my claim was denied. I'm giving this company ZERO stars and I'm also gonna leave a bad review for the dealership for even recommending this crappy company.
This company is a total rip-off!
This company is a total rip-off! I had my truck stolen in May and it was found, but that's when The Oak Group/Equipro got involved. My insurance paid out, but these guys refused to cover the rest of the balance, even though I paid them for 4 years! They kept telling me they wouldn't pay anything and that I owed them money. I've sent them everything they asked for, but they still won't budge. They said it would take 4-5 weeks, but it's been months and I'm still waiting. I'm so angry and disappointed. I'll never use this company again and I'll warn everyone I know to stay away from them. They're a bunch of crooks!

I bought a car with Oak Group's GAP insurance on Jan
I bought a car with Oak Group's GAP insurance on Jan. 4, 2020. The car got wrecked in Oct. 2020 and the insurance said it was a total loss. We kept paying for the car in Oct, Nov, Dec, and Jan. I called Oak Group's GAP insurance and they said they'd pay us back for the payments we made. They sent a check to Meritrust to pay off the car. We should get $2400.00 for the payments we made, but they're only giving us $851.23. What happened to the other $1548.77?
I had to file a claim with The Oak Group for my GAP insurance after my ride got lost
I had to file a claim with The Oak Group for my GAP insurance after my ride got lost. They sent me an email on 4/7/22 saying that check#*** for $2,346.47 was mailed to my BMO *** Bank account on 4/5/22. But when I called them on 4/20/22, they told me to call BMO because the check was probably sitting on someone's desk. I asked why they didn't send it electronically, and they said they don't do that. I called BMO today, and they said they still haven't gotten the check yet.
So, my car got wrecked and Infiniti Financial Service said it was worth $19,500
So, my car got wrecked and Infiniti Financial Service said it was worth $19,500. The insurance company paid $11,400 and Oak Group was supposed to pay the rest, which was $8100. But then Oak Group took forever to figure things out and found out that the $8100 was already paid off with a bank loan. So, they said they didn't have to pay anything and blamed it on some "deferred payments and interests" thing from Infiniti Financial Services. This all happened a year before my contract with Infiniti Financial Services was supposed to end.
