Wow. I've been using a subscription service for convenient birth control delivery.
Wow. I've been using a subscription service for convenient birth control delivery. Suddenly, they switched to 'Favor' and the quality plummeted. They canceled my prescription and insisted on a new survey for a consultation fee. Despite identical answers, they refused to prescribe, defeating the purpose of online convenience. Ironically, I had a doctor's visit recently but didn't get a prescription because I trusted this service. It seems many customers are affected, and at a time when access to reproductive healthcare is crucial, Favor is failing us. It wouldn't surprise me if a competitor has taken over to run the service aground.

I used pill club because I was changing jobs and did not want to take COBRA so I was going to have a lapse in coverage
I used pill club because I was changing jobs and did not want to take COBRA so I was going to have a lapse in coverage. It was about $60/4 months so it was better than going out of pocket at the pharmacy. The *** texted me my current prescription request, which I was on for years. However, pill club filled a higher dose by mistake. I immediately let them know that the wrong medication was going to be shipped to me and the representative was unsure if I would be refunded as their pharmacy is separate (makes no sense as they were at fault). Luckily, I was refunded. The correct prescription took 2+ weeks to be delivered to me; I had ordered it with enough time to finish my current pack, but due to the shipping delays I ended up missing days of medication. I wouldnt recommend pill club for long term use due to the possibility of shipping delays that could cause a lapse in medication. I know the shipping delays are out of their control, but my whole experience was really inconvenient, which is disappointing because I really wanted to like pill club and continue to use them once I got insurance coverage back. I canceled the service.

I have been taking the birth control pill Vienva for a monyh now, I am on my second pack. I take them.to stop my menstrual cycly and they did not work I am having a full blown period stomach discomfort included. I wish I had stuck with the first company that Inused for pills but I thought they were all the same. I cancelled my subscription and I advise tou to look i to other providers. If I am menstruating like this, I am even protected from pregnancy? Obviously the hormones aren't doing their job like other pills from other web subscriptions
I love this company so much, Ive been getting birth control from Favor for the past year and I wouldnt have it any other way. Their communication is excellent & for me my bc has always been on time. Highly recommend
At the beginning I loved it. Then a couple months ago I started receiving propaganda/biased merch. A sticker that looked like an ice cream cone to me, put it on my water bottle then a week later I realized nono, that is not an ice cream cone. It was a sticker of a *** with, to put it lightly, s*** on it. It was a beautiful art style, but come on seriously? Some of us don't wanna display *** toys on our water bottles. That's what *** the line for me. But last month I got a poster that says "abortion is healthcare". 1: that's leftist propaganda, 2: not all of us who take birth control are democrats. I take it to lighten my period and make it less painful. I mean honestly it was very convenient and they have decent customer service, but I can't deal with getting propaganda and vulgar stickers. I'm sorry, nothing against the artists it's just not my taste
I've been using the Pill Club for almost a year now and I could not be happier with their service
I've been using the Pill Club for almost a year now and I could not be happier with their service. Before signing up, it was a monthly struggle for me to get my preferred brand and get my refills on time from the pharmacy. I switched pharmacies countless times, and it was always the same problem; they either didn't order my brand in time, the warehouse was out of it, or they under-counted how many refills I had left. They often required me to call my doctor's office to get permission to extend my refills, even when I knew I had several left, and the doctor would always require me to physically come into the office to get my refills. The last straw was when I had to go in yet again to one of these doctors' offices to get refills I was already supposed to have, and he asked me why I even wanted birth control pills now that I'm married. No joke! I contacted the Pill Club that same afternoon and it was such a relief. They had my preferred brand in stock, it was covered by my insurance, and I had the option of having multiple packs delivered at once. I will never go back to getting my prescriptions from the pharmacy. You guys are seriously the best!

Absolutely disgusted with this company. I received an abortion is healthcare poster and grotesque sticker in my package today. I signed up for birth control not for a promotion package to murder children. Needless to say its completely inappropriate and I canceled.
It would have been five stars if they had real costumer service. I filled my six month medical review with one incorrect piece of information by accident. I attempted to contact their office with little progress made by the end of the call to resolve my issue and received a message once the weekend was over saying they could no longer service me for my own safety. I HAVE to be on birth control because of a medication I take for acne! This is for my safety and to prevent a harmful pregnancy. I am married, I cannot risk pregnancy, and now Favor refuses to service me over one misclick. Im checking out other online options now. What complete bull c
After rebranding to Favor, it's down to a zero star rating if I could. The so called "customer service" text line takes days to respond, which is not great when it comes to matters of your health. In addition to the delay in response time, my pills would never ship. I had to reach out three months in a row asking why my pack of pills hadn't shipped after I was told they'd automatically ship. I just received excuses from Favor in response. I had side effects from being off the pill for days due to my pack of pills not shipping until I reached out. When I firmly asked what would be done the following month to remediate this issue I received no response. Terrible company. Terrible customer service. Terrible lack of responsibility. They do the complete opposite of caring for customers' health and needs.
Favor formally known as The Pill Club is not a good company
Favor formally known as The Pill Club is not a good company. I have been with The Pill Club for a few years. I have never had an issue. Sometime at the end of 2021 beginning of 2022 Favor took over. I placed an order with The pill club for 1 years supply of birth control pills winter of 2021. When they went to send my order they said because of expiration dates on the pills they would send me half of my order and the rest at a later date. That was fine for me I told them. The date came that I was in need of the rest of my order and they had not sent it. This is a medication that needs to be taken every single day for it to work properly and so I dont feel ill. I contacted Favor and they realized they had my information wrong in their system so the date they had to send out the rest was wrong. The only solution they had was 1. Go to a local pharmacy and pay for another prescription or 2. Wait for them to ship the rest. This is unacceptable as this is a medication needed to be taken daily. I had already missed 1 day. This order was already paid in full they should have figured out a way to fix the issue that they caused. I do not recommend this company at all.

I reached out to find out more about how to become a formal member, primarily with interest in becoming a member just for access to emergency contraceptives. Despite their promise to follow up in 1-3 business days, it was 7 business days to get a response that didnt even acknowledge what I was talking about. They quoted strict patient privacy policies and that theyd need my full name and DOB for a response. How ironic considering they dont have ANY of that information in the first place and that information doesnt need to be shared to answer the simple question of how to become a member. Why have me hand over my private information when you dont even have it in the first place considering Im asking how to become a member. That customer service is horrific and its so sad that after such a delay the agent didnt bother to even read my email. I will be going anywhere else. (Support ticket #*** for reference.)
The *** Been with you guys a year and you guys change my birth control and I liked the previous one. I was disappointed how you guys changed it and the policy too? You guys never take most insurance too? Had to pay out of my own pocket. I would not recommend
If I could put 0 stars I would. This company has screwed me over so many times. When favor was the pill club I loved the company even raved about it to several friends. The pill club was a 5 star company, favor is nothing more than 1 star. Each month for several months now my shipment doesnt come, is several days/weeks late forcing me to start a super painful and unsafe period. My birth control under the same insurance in a state that has no regulations over my birth control went from $0 to $23 a month. A MONTH. For birth control that I dont even receive. I am writing this as my favor birth control package is now late and I am awaiting a painful period and potential emergency room trips over something entirely avoidable, doing what the company is supposed to do. This is so sad and irritating, I hope favor fixes the issues they are having or I will be transferring to another company.
DO NOT USE FAVOR (heyfavor)To start off they made it easy to input all your info and get on a call with the medical team
DO NOT USE FAVOR (heyfavor)To start off they made it easy to input all your info and get on a call with the medical team. OH IM SORRY not a call, a video conference as their medical team doesnt have phones. -_- They recommended something that caused horrible side effects and when going in to change it they make it INCREDIBLY difficult to get in touch with the medical team. Its been FIVE DAYS now with no real response from the medical team which btw is all through text. They will not allow me to video conference again since I already did that to start up with them, makes no sense at all when I need a new script! Every time I call to check in and get an update as to where I am in their log of who to get to next I get the same unhelpful generic response that I am sure you will see posted in response to this comment. And if they tell you they marked your file urgent IT MEANS NOTHING! They did that for me day one and Im still waiting to get just a script for a new Birth control that actually works. Save yourself the headache! The people who work there are nice but they dont work for a great company. All they can do is give you the same answer every time and profusely apologized for not being able to actually help with anything!

Definitely would not recommend
Definitely would not recommend... This club has horrible customer service! I sent two questions in one day with no response to either, even though they were completely during customer service hours. First month of pills arrived on time, second month was not even shipped until 3 days before my next pack was supposed to start. Then the pack got lost in the mail (I understand this is not Pill Club's fault directly, but they already sent it late, so regardless I would have been thrown off cycle...) I informed them of this, then they sent me a message stating that my next pack would be sent in the middle of June, completely skipping an entire month. This was my first experience with birth control, and my cycle is messed up with skipping and being late. When I informed them I was cancelling the service, they offered no ways that they could have fixed the experience or help the confusion. They also reply to all of these reviews with very generic automated messages and don't actually fix the issue. Overall, 1/10. Chose Pill Club for the pretty allure of packaging and goodies, but it was not worth it. Go with the competitors for better service and trustworthiness. Time is so important for birth control, but the complete disregard for time sensitive product is appalling for this provider.

Too good to be true
Too good to be true. I am completely new to birth control and was looking for online options because I had no insurance. Their prices are very affordable. I wanted to be on the pill mainly to stop heavy irregular periods and severe cramping. They put me on generic Vienva. First of all as I had no idea how birth control worked, they don't really tell you how to start it and I was very confused and ended up watching youtube tutorials about the combination pills. The only way to contact them is via text and if you have medical questions it takes DAYS for the pharmacy to respond. Ridiculous. I was satisfied with the pill at first aside from experiencing nausea in the beginning. After 3 months the pill made me feel absolutely horrible. I had light bleeding which is expected, but then it went on for weeks and got heavier accompanied with cramps. I felt like I was on my period every day. I reported this to them and then they completely cut off my access to birth control (I was due for a shipment just a few days later). They refunded my payment and told me I couldn't get birth control delivered anymore unless I see a doctor in person. How convenient. If you are new to the pill, please stay away from the Pill Club. Seems like it's only useful for people who know what prescription already works for them.

I used them for about 3 or 4 years now and last year I got a childhood murmur checked out cuz I knew at one point I was told I had one by my mom
I used them for about 3 or 4 years now and last year I got a childhood murmur checked out cuz I knew at one point I was told I had one by my mom and got an all clear to which they told me sometimes you grow out of it and thats what I did. My doctor knows I'm on it and said it's fine even the heart doctor that literally scanned my heart did to. So apparently my insurance noted something I don't have for my heart and when I told them that that was checked out they asked me to get checked again to see if it's ok to use their stuff and when i told them the results and their blaint knowledge that I take it and approval pill club immediately canceled my plan within the minute instead of trying to discuss if it was still nessary to get a check up even though it's literally known and been gone over with the doctors in the past year.I literally don't have money to waste on a unnecessary few doc visits and blood test and going back to the specialist will take forever and my insurance makes me pay $99 a visit which it would definitely be more than one visit to go over it again. Last time cost me about $700 for all of it with insurance which is why I wanted to know if it was still nessary but again they couldn't bother to even talk about it just canceled my plan and I'm moving jobs so I'll lose my insurance this month and I'll have to change to paying out of pocket so again I didn't need any delays and they knew the circumstances for why I was trying to get my new and due prescription done.So I was happy with them till that despicable behavior where I got screwed out of my birth control over extremely bad customer service.

The Pill Club is horrible
The Pill Club is horrible. I’m currently going through my third miscarriage and choosing not to TTC for a while after all is said and done with this miscarriage. I wanted to get a prescription going so that we can start being safe when we resume sexual activities. I was honest and upfront about my current unviable pregnancy when filling out The Pill Club’s questionnaire for a new prescription, and was immediately totally locked out and when I reached out to customer service I was told that I can never again use their online prescription services, I can only use their services if I get a prescription from a physician where I am because I require some higher standard of care. They apparently decided I’m some crazy person trying to take birth control during a healthy pregnancy..? Not once did they apologize for my loss or actually read what I was telling them about my miscarriage, I just kept getting a canned answer about how I can only be handled by a physician in person to get birth control from them. That is just absurd and insulting. Don’t go near this company if you’re trying to get a birth control prescription for after you give birth or finish miscarrying, because they are only here to make snap judgements and provide disgustingly condescending customer service. I’ll be using another online birth control prescription service so that I can choose what’s right for me and my body:m. Having a miscarriage doesn’t make me ineligible for birth control, Pill Club. Do your research and learn that women who have a miscarriage can take birth control afterward if they choose. I hope you treat future loss moms with more respect.

I had ordered prior with no complaints
I had ordered prior with no complaints. Saw my prescription was expiring soon, reactivated my order. Called to have my medication transferred to my pharmacy, was informed it could take a few days. Called the day it should have been filled and was told that the reason it didn’t go through after that time was because “the pharmacists were in a meeting” and didn’t get to review the medication, but that it would be refilled that day. It was not. Called again and was told that it was an error on THEIR end, that the medication could not be transferred because they were still waiting on the $15 charge to my card to be approved. Card was still not charged so I called back, was told it was a “glitch in their system,” and that’s why it didn’t go through. I was then told that they were putting an urgent rush on it and than it would be filled either that night or the next morning. My card was charged the $15, but it was still not filled the next morning. I called yet again, only to be told that my state required an appointment with a nurse before it could be filled. I spoke with a supervisor who was very nice and really did do everything in her power to fix the situation, and I understand that she only had limited means. But the best solution was still irreparable. You cannot withhold someone’s MEDICATION. Especially after they have already gotten approval and also charged for it. It is so immoral on so many levels! There is NO communication between team members. Also, your texts will never be answered. Medication is not a joke. My mistake was giving this company more than one chance to fix it, only to then be behind on medication. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I thought trying telehealth would be a good way to avoid the doctor's office during the pandemic
I thought trying telehealth would be a good way to avoid the doctor's office during the pandemic. I have been on the same birth control for years, and all they had to do was send me the exact same thing. When they repeatedly asked if I'd like to switch to a different type of birth control, I told them to just send me the brand that I know works. The Pill Club sent a generic instead of the Zovia 1/35 I have been on for years. Unfortunately, the generic caused spotting and severe cramps. When I messaged the pharmacist, it took days for them to respond that they would try to send me the correct prescription the following year if they have it in stock. Since I don't want to spend a year on birth control that doesn't work for me, I called my insurance to ask about authorizing the correct meds. They told me that the Pill Club would need to let them know that generics weren't working for me and request authorization for funds to be released for a new prescription. The Pill Club refused! (And it took them days to get back to me at all!) They told me they could send Zovia 1/35, but I would need to pay out of pocket. My insurance recommended that I get a copy of my prescription for Zovia 1/25, then have my primary care doctor could make the request. When I asked for my rx, they responded "Have a beautiful day," and they completely ignored my followup text asking again for my rx. I'm pretty sure my insurance won't accept a beautiful day as a valid prescription... I would absolutely not recommend this service. It's not their fault that my body reacted poorly to the generic, but it is absolutely their fault that they refused to work with me as medical professionals to get me a brand that works without very painful side effects.

Do not use this birth control provider
Do not use this birth control provider. They started out as *** and were initially pretty cool. Then they turned into Favor. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE. Their response times are days-long and they have twice now cancelled my birth control prescription at the last minute (when I am OUT OF PILLS). First it was because they ran out of the pills and couldn't find another brand that was similar, so they fully cancelled my prescription, made me spend a week without pills while I waited for another new brand and new dosage (not okay.) all the while they were taking multiple hours, up to multiple business days, to respond to my messages, after sending very alarming texts to me about my prescription being cancelled or suspended. The second time my entire prescription is being cancelled, which is the reason for writing this, is due to a concern Favor has over a "severe reaction" that the birth control could cause with another medication I'm on. I don't recall ever explicitly giving Favor permission to look at my other prescriptions, or take liberties with my prescriptions without my consent. I have been taking said medication along with said birth control for over a year with no medical reaction at all. My own regular doctor has prescribed both to me without any concerns. I switched to Favor because it was more convenient, and now it has become a nightmare. I regret recommending Favor to my girlfriends and I am glad none of them needed the service and stayed far away from your embarrassing and unprofessional practices. I have requested all of my information to be deleted from your servers, and for my account services to be suspended. I do not want to associate with Favor any longer and will be switching to ***.

I had been using the pill club since sometime last year because i have pcos but i didnt have insurance until late last year
I had been using the pill club since sometime last year because i have pcos but i didnt have insurance until late last year. Everything was great and really on time, i actually got my refills early while i still had a few of the regular pills left from the previous order which was great. And then they went and switched to this Favor business which messed up everything. I have been calling and attempting to text them for weeks and today the finally sent my order out. At this point im out of my birth control entirely, when i called them over the weekend cause i was getting nowhere with texting them they said they would overnight it to me and they didn't. And all this is after they had already charged me for the s*** earlier in the month. I guess I'll wait one more month after i get this one to see if the next one is on time and if so ill try to stick with it but if the next one isnt on time im switching. If all you deal with as a company is birth control you should know it cannot laps, if a patient lapses the medicine isnt as effective. As a person with pcos i have to take birth control to keep my moods somewhat in check and keep from having terrible pains and bleeding for months, yes MONTHS at a time. I also need it to have a regular period every month. The fact that they charged me then didnt immediately send it out is outrageous, if i confirmed in a call that everything is correct then they should have sent it out that night but no, they had to wait almost a full week later, after i tried to contact them again, to ask if i want to still use my insurance, like yes, of coarse i want to use my insurance, why the h*** wouldnt i want to. I really hope for the sake of all the women that use them that they get better when it comes to doing business.

I am writing to request a refund of $32 for something I did not authorize
I am writing to request a refund of $32 for something I did not authorize. I chose pill club because Nurx raised their prices. Pill club took a while to process and for me to receive my pills; which threw my cycles off. I was still wiling to give it a chance. A few months later I see a charge for tampons that I apparently got a sample in my first and only order. My main issue with this is I never received any email or text, notification that the tampons would be processing, shipping, or on their way. For any other product that is on subscription, you usually get an email saying ‘hey your order is about to ship… or it’s on its way’. The only response I got from them said there’s no way to cancel or refund this because it left their warehouse. Um, so you can’t verify that the customer still wanted the product or didn’t want to change it before something leaves your warehouse. It seems like the company is looking to trap customers. Again, there was no email or anything. The only response I get from their lengthy and rude customer service is that it already left, and they can’t do anything. This is interesting because if the address was changed or order was wrong, I wonder what would the answer be. Their customer service takes forever and they’re unhelpful. As I’m writing this, I see I received yet another spam email from them, but NO emails about this subscription. Also, I’ve never experienced such rude and curt customer service; especially over text. They have been unprofessional and rude. And come to think of it, I’m a new customer. So this is really how you treat new customers? Again, I want to request the refund of $32. If not, I’ll have to evaluate other options. I would like you to contact me, because it seems your methods are delayed and unresponsive. Thank you.

I was so skeptical of trying out the pill club based on the very negative reviews
I was so skeptical of trying out the pill club based on the very negative reviews. Boy, was I right! Their customer service is awful. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. I had my appointment with one of this PA’s to go over all my info and be prescribed birth control. I don’t know why I had to do this because I’ve been on the same birth control for years. I explained to the PA that I was having surgery due to endometriosis issues. She said it would be fine to continue the same birth control. My gynecologist wanted me to stay on the same birth control. I’ve been on the same one for years. Why would I want to switch something up when it’s worked well with my body? I get a text from the pill club the day of my surgery. Then, the day after, and 2 days post op. I’m in tons of pain and so aggravated that they are even texting me. They explain to me that they can’t fill my Seasonique birth control and they have to put me on a “pop” pill. I tried to explain to them that the pop pill wasn’t an option for me. It has been such a headache dealing with them. They obviously know nothing about the female anatomy. Because I have endometriosis they will not write me birth control. It shows how uneducated this company is because people wit endometriosis have to be on birth control, or it’s recommended anyways. This company is completely ridiculous and TERRIBLE to deal with. I canceled my subscription immediately after days of them arguing back and forth with me. They refuse to send me out a confirmation showing the account has been closed in full. If you want to deal with terrible customer service, this company is for you. I would recommend going to get birth control at your local pharmacy which is so much easier. I didn’t even receive one package of birth control through them. I hope they canceled my subscription but that can’t even be confirmed. 0/10!

I had a horrible experience with The Pill Club
I had a horrible experience with The Pill Club. The customer service is awful, and it took way too long to actually get a prescription. I signed up to join The Pill Club on June 24th. The earliest date I was able to sign up for a virtual consultation with a practitioner was July 2nd. I would note that the times offered for the consultation were very limited (a few hours in the evening and only a few days per week). I had to rearrange my schedule so that I could attend the consultation. Unfortunately, the practitioner never showed up for my virtual consultation. No one from The Pill Club reached out to me to apologize, to say they were running late, to ask me to reschedule, etc. Eventually I reached out to customer service after waiting for over an hour in the “virtual waiting room.” I was told that I would need to reschedule my consultation and the next available consultation was not until the following week. My second attempt at the virtual consultation went better, but barely. The practitioner was almost an hour late and again there was no communication to tell me that she was running late, would be with me shortly, etc. I did not receive my first prescription until July 8th—two weeks after I signed up—and that was after I asked them to expedite things by sending the prescription to my local pharmacy instead of mailing the pills to me directly. For comparison, when I finally gave up on The Pill Club and went with a different, local doctor, I called to set up an appointment around 9:00am, had a virtual appointment at 1:00pm, and my prescription was filled and ready for pickup by 2:12pm—less than 6 hours! After getting my birth control, things got worse. I had horrible side effects and called The Pill Club to try to change my prescription to a brand that I had used before. I was told that I would need to fill out a form explaining the reasons I was requesting a change and that my prescription change request would be processed later that day. I filled out the form immediately. Six hours later, after receiving no response, I called again. I was told that my prescription change request would not be processed that day and that nothing could be done because it was too late in the day. Notably, it was still approximately an hour before the end of their normal business hours. I called again the next day and was told that I would need to wait until the nurse practitioner who was “assigned to me” started working later that afternoon. I asked when she would be available and was told to call back in approximately 4 hours. I called back 3 hours later and was told that she had already left for the day. Eventually, multiple days after I requested a prescription change, informed The Pill Club of the side effects I was experiencing, and was told that my change request would be processed in a day with no problem, The Pill Club texted me (didn’t bother to call) to tell me that they would be unable to process my request without scheduling another virtual visit since I had reported that I was experiencing headaches. I understand that they want to be cautious and ensure that I’m getting proper medical care, but they could have told me that the very first day that I called to request the change and reported my side effects. Altogether, it took multiple days, hours of phone calls, and answering the same questions over and over just for them to tell me that they would not be able to change my prescription without another virtual appointment. I gave up on The Pill Club and got a new prescription for my preferred brand from a different provider in less than twelve hours the next day. Altogether, I signed up for an account with The Pill Club on June 24th and still had not received a prescription for my preferred brand of birth control by July 16th. I think there are two main issues with The Pill Club. First, inadequate staffing – while I was not told this directly, their customer service representatives implied that only one nurse practitioner at The Pill Club is licensed to serve all of their customers in my area (Washington, D.C.). That would explain why it was so difficult to schedule a virtual visit! Second, lack of communication. Customers cannot communicate directly with medical personnel unless they have an appointment (which takes about a week to schedule in my experience). And the customer service representatives that I spoke with as well as the pharmacists also informed me that even they could not speak directly with the nurse practitioners. This would explain why I had to answer the same questions repeatedly and was told something different each time I called! For anyone considering signing up for The Pill Club, please take my experience as a warning, save yourself the headache (literally and figuratively), and find a different provider. I wouldn’t recommend The Pill Club to my worse enemy!

I paid $20 for a PC RX consultation on [protected]
I paid $20 for a PC RX consultation on [protected]. They never started the prescription or contacted me. I tried sending them a question through the app asking how long it would take to start it, got nothing. So I texted and emailed them to cancel, deactivate my account, and remove my payment information, still no reply back.
I signed up for The Pill Club
I signed up for The Pill Club. They said they would review my order in 2 to 3 days. But my doctor told me not to take it. I texted and called The Pill Club to cancel my membership before they reviewed everything. But they didn't respond and my account is still open. I hope they don't charge me because I tried to cancel before they looked at my info.
I signed up for the skincare consultation on October 1st and my card was charged on the same day
I signed up for the skincare consultation on October 1st and my card was charged on the same day. I emailed the company's general support email more than 12 days after the transaction, asking for someone to get in touch. I haven't received a response to my initial or follow-up emails. It's been almost a month now, and I haven't received any product, service, or communication since being charged. I reached out for a third time to ask for a refund, but once again, I haven't heard back.

I paid $20 for a birth control prescription and was promised to receive it within 7 days
I paid $20 for a birth control prescription and was promised to receive it within 7 days. However, it's been weeks now and I still haven't received the service I paid for. The company, ***, didn't fulfill their part of the deal. When I reached out to them, they said the $20 fee couldn't be refunded. I want my $20 back since I didn't get the service I paid for.
I went through the whole process and was waiting for my prescription to be sent to me
I went through the whole process and was waiting for my prescription to be sent to me. I even got an email saying that my medical visit is complete and they can prescribe birth control to me. But then they said they can't offer me services because I live in ***. They waited until AFTER they charged me $15 for a consultation fee or something like that. They had all my insurance and resident information before, so why continue the process if they couldn't help me? I think it's shady and I will never recommend them to anyone.
I asked to change my meds on April 26th, but it's May 15th now and I still haven't talked to anyone about it
I asked to change my meds on April 26th, but it's May 15th now and I still haven't talked to anyone about it. Every time I call, they give me a different excuse. First, they wanted pics, so I sent 'em. But still nothin'. Then I called again, and they said they sent it super fast to the med team, but still nothin'. So I called again, and they said it wasn't sent to the med team, so they're sending it again. So here I am, waiting again with no response. I just wanna know if I can switch my meds. It shouldn't take this long to fix.
I signed up for birth control thru The Pill Club
I signed up for birth control thru The Pill Club. I did the survey and answered medical history. After the survey, the website asked for my insurance info and card info. They charged me $20 for a consultation - they said it would only take 10 mins. The next day, I logged in for a video consultation - but I never got to talk to a provider. I waited online for 45 mins and nobody spoke to me. I tried 4 times throughout the day to talk to someone. I contacted customer service and they said I just gotta wait. It feels fake that I got charged $20 and couldn't talk to anyone for a prescription. I tried to cancel my subscription and change my card info, but you gotta enter a new card to cancel your card. It feels fake. Don't use them.
I got birth control from this company
I got birth control from this company. They charged me $15 for a consultation and said they'd send a combo pill. But I can only take a mini pill. They shipped the combo pill and charged me $90 after ignoring me for days. I emailed support but got no response. I asked to cancel my order and finally got a computer-generated message. The next person said I need a mini pill because I smoke. I already knew this. They tried to charge me AGAIN for their mistake. They said it's $115 this time, not the price on their site. They tried to send a pill that can kill me and charge me twice after ignoring me. I still can't get a non-automated response. This whole experience has been a nightmare. It's been 7 days and I haven't spoken to a human. They just keep charging me more $.
I accidentally signed up for The Pill Club's services for Birth Control on 5/11/23
I accidentally signed up for The Pill Club's services for Birth Control on 5/11/23. When I got my first communication from them on 5/15 saying that I got charged $20, I replied back saying that I don't need a consult and I already have a birth control prescription. I immediately wanted to cancel. The Pill Club said it takes 5-7 days to evaluate, so since I messaged right away, I asked them to stop and refund, which should have been doable. The Pill Club didn't respond to my persistent messages for 8 days. I got messages from a nurse practitioner saying she was reviewing my request for contraception. They completely ignored my messages and kept processing a service I didn't want. After 11 days, I finally got a message from their support team saying that the Medical Consultation Fee is non-refundable to cover the medical provider's time to evaluate your health profile. Even though I asked for a refund multiple times before this evaluation, The Pill Club shamefully ignored me and kept processing until it was too late according to their policy.
I joined The Pill Club about a year or two ago, and when I first signed up, I was previously prescribed Apri by my PCP, who I don't see anymore
I joined The Pill Club about a year or two ago, and when I first signed up, I was previously prescribed Apri by my PCP, who I don't see anymore. When I signed up, they said I could get Apri monthly, but a few months later, they said it was out of stock. They gave me a cheaper alternative that I don't like, so I asked to go back to Apri. After months of asking, I finally got back on Apri for two months, but now they're saying it's out of stock again. I'm starting to think it's because it's cheaper. Why did I have no problem getting it at my pharmacy, but with The Pill Club, it's always an issue? When they texted me, I sent a long message expressing my unhappiness and asking to be on Apri, not a cheap alternative. They responded with an automated text saying they detected serious symptoms and to call 911 or go to the ER. Why don't they actually read my message and address the issue instead of assuming I'm having a medical emergency? If I were, I definitely wouldn't be reaching out to them. Can a real person please reach out and address the issue because I'm really fed up.
Within the past year, I had a prescription for birth control and other free add-ons sent to me every month, all covered by my insurance
Within the past year, I had a prescription for birth control and other free add-ons sent to me every month, all covered by my insurance. One month, they asked me a questionnaire before sending my monthly refill and birth control shipment. The questionnaire asked if I had any depressive or suicidal thoughts since starting the birth control. Since I've battled with depression and anxiety my whole life, I honestly answered that I had experienced these thoughts after starting the birth control. However, they didn't ask if I had them before starting it. After confirming my answer and being honest with my healthcare provider, they cancelled my subscription and told me I needed to see a doctor and get approval before continuing with the contraceptive.
This has caused my depression and intrusive thoughts to worsen, and my anxiety has increased because I'm now worried about the risk of getting pregnant since I can't find time as a full-time student to go to a mandatory doctor's appointment. When I tried reaching out to them about the issue, they dismissed me and insisted that I go somewhere else to get examined first. It feels like they violated my rights because the question didn't ask if the birth control itself caused these feelings or if there were other factors involved. I don't understand why having a stressful life should mean I lose my monthly contraceptive plan that helps me stay on track as a full-time college student. I just want to continue my subscription with them without the unnecessary doctor's examination.
I signed up for The Pill Club 'bout 2 weeks before my period 'cause I checked out other similar companies
I signed up for The Pill Club 'bout 2 weeks before my period 'cause I checked out other similar companies. Their website says it takes 'bout 3-5 biz days to get the meds after they ship. The FAQ on their site says they use *** Mail Innovations, which is like *** to ***, takin' 'bout 2-7 days, but usually faster if it ain't a busy shippin' time. They sent my package with DHL eCommerce, which is DHL to ***, and it's supposed to take 'bout 4-8 days, but usually takes longer. DHL lost my package and never delivered it to ***. There's no way to contact DHL directly for updates on lost mail. I reached out to *** after 4 days with no updates on trackin' for both DHL and ***. They said they'd hurry up and send me a replacement order, but despite callin' 'em almost every day, it never happened, and they kept givin' me different info. The meds also ain't protected from extreme temps or moisture, which can make 'em less effective. After days of tryin' to get a solution, they texted sayin' they'd send a "courtesy replacement package." IT AIN'T COURTEOUS TO EXPECT MY MEDS ON TIME (especially after losin' the first package). It's been almost 2 weeks now, my meds are late, they already billed my insurance, and I can't transfer 'em elsewhere. I can't even cancel or transfer at this point, and I'm so frustrated with this company that claims to be a quick and convenient option for gettin' necessary meds. Birth control ain't just for contraception, it's also used for medical reasons to treat lots of health conditions, and y'all are messin' with people's health with your carelessness. This ain't some random useless thing someone ordered from Amazon. It's a med that, if not taken on time, has big side effects on a person's health.

I've been taking birth control for 12 years and signed up for *** two months ago to avoid having to see a doctor in person. I asked for Femynor or Sprintec but NOT any generic brand. They sent me the generic brand Estarylla anyway, which I'd never tried before, and I had really awful side effects for the 5 weeks I was taking it. I stopped taking the Estarylla and the side effects went away in less than 2 days. When I submitted a request for them to send me a different brand, I was told I had to have another video call with one of their providers, only for the doctor to say there was nothing they could do and that I had to see someone in person, even though it was clear that the Estarylla brand was the problem. After the call, I got an email saying they had CANCELED MY ENTIRE ACCOUNT. I never asked for that! Good riddance to them, because apparently customers are easily disposable in their eyes. Trying this service was the worst choice I've ever made.
So far its had been up and downs with favor, but they have really made up for it, I love their service and it may take a few hours for a reply but they have been super friendly and working really well to meet ends with what I need ! They helped me with every question and met every expectation. And the packaging?! Makes it fun! I really appreciate the whole team of favor. Thank you !
If i could give 0 starts I would. I was with *** for years .. but Favor ATROCIOUS. Theyre working with such sensitive situations (ie. someones reproductive health) ComplaintsBoard.com shouldnt even allow for them to be in business. They are complete unresponsive, fail to execute at their job, and charge money aimlessly just to then give out refunds. I dont want a refund, I want my medication. They charged my insurance over 2 weeks ago, have not shipped out my birth control so now I am completely without my prescription because my insurance HAS BEEN BILLED and they will not allow me to fill the rx again. Their management does nothing but give out excuses. I have requested to cancel my subscription 3x so I can go to my local pharmacy YET here I am without birth control.
I have pcos I was suppose to get a prescription for Bisolvin fe. I guess they did not have that brand and they did not contact met. I did get a text stating that my prescription had arrived, so I thought it was my birthcontrol. In the box was 80 womens condoms and the morning after pill which they billed to my insurance. Not my birth control. This is not cool I never ordered womens condoms or the morning after pill. This place is a scam and their customer service is horrible. Find a better place online.
