I bought a home from Tilley's Manufactured Home on Feb 1, 2020
I bought a home from Tilley's Manufactured Home on Feb 1, 2020. The floors are all squeaky and the back door has a trip hazard that Tilley's repairman glued and is now coming apart. I complained to the La Manufactured Housing Commission Fire Marshall and they inspected it on May 6. They wrote up the findings, but now they say I have to get a lawyer because they can't make Tilley's fix it. After the inspector left on March 6, Greg Tilley's crew sent people out to re-level and install more vents on the sidings, but then they disappeared. The manufacturer, Southern Homes, sent the same guy who couldn't fix the gaps before the inspector came out. Then they sent his son and his girlfriend to fix what his dad could not fix, and then sent the dad right back out to attempt the job again. I asked the dad why not just let the manufacturer Vickie know that it was a defect that could not be fixed and he stated they would only tell him you got a job. So these people knew that the gaps were beyond repair which causes these floors to squeak. They tried to fix them but were not able to. Their repairman even left a big hump in the floor and said it was fixed and I had to call them back out on that. Southern Homes, which is the manufacturer of Clayton Homes, is all tied up by a billionaire who preys on poor people or just people period. Notice all Clayton Homes are financed by 21st Mortgage and the CEO is the same billionaire that owns Clayton Homes. It's like a no-win situation. But the customers are left to fix what should have never been broken upon the purchase of a so-called brand new home. Clayton Home and Greg Tilley's Manufactured Homes are professionals at one blaming the other one. It's a game well thought out and planned as far as I am concerned.
Tim in sales was excellent, but the service department was disappointing
Tim in sales was excellent, but the service department was disappointing. I got a double wide in November and put it on a high platform. Here's what happened with the service appointments: Initial Factory Defect Punchlist was submitted on 12/14. - January 8: A technician came out to take pictures of factory defects and generated a parts list. (2 doorways were too small for the doors, missing screen, damaged drip edge, hole in siding, crooked wall in master bath, damaged door in master bath) - January 19: reported a roof leak to Service dept. Took 4 weeks to get a repairman to fix - March 5: Technician was scheduled to make initial repairs. Shows up at 2pm, looks around and advised that he wasn't made aware of all the necessary repairs and did not have the material or labor to complete and leaves after 20 minutes. -April 7: Advised that the kitchen window had developed condensate between the glass panes. They advised they would place one on order. -April 14: Service technician was scheduled and corrected the door openings and siding issues, but advised he was not made aware of the damaged door, window screen or window to be replaced. - July 16: Service technician was scheduled to replace the damaged door, missing screen and replace damaged window. My home is 17' off the ground, so I called and verified everything was on go to make the final repairs and I rented (out of my own pocket) a man lift to provide a safe way for the tech to replace the window. He shows up at noon with the wrong door and we immediately notice the replacement window is damaged. After 10 minutes, he leaves and apologizes for wasting my money on the lift. He texts me two days later and advises they will not reimburse me for the lift and are turning my case over to the factory and will no longer be responsible for replacing my window. -I have owned my home for 8 months now and still do not have the initial repairs made. Don't expect much from the service department here.

I got a new trailer from Tilley's Bossier Mobile Homes, Inc
I got a new trailer from Tilley's Bossier Mobile Homes, Inc. two years ago, but the floor has been soft since then. The guys they send out to fix it just put band aids on it and don't fix it right. It's hard to get them to come out in the first place. They've had a few guys check for water leaks, but nothing is leaking. The tounge and groves were broken when I got the trailer. The service is really bad. They always say they'll come next week, but they never do.
We got a house from Tilleys
We got a house from Tilleys. They said it would take 2 months, but it took 6. We got it in January. They were supposed to fix things, but they didn't. We called a lot and gave them everything they needed. They won't fix the big things like water in the wall, holes in the ceiling, messed up floors, broken stones on the fireplace, messed up doors and cabinets, and messed up trim. The sheet rock is cracked too. We want our new house fixed. A faucet blew up and flooded a bathroom. The house is new, but it's falling apart and they don't care.
We are having the same problem with them an it’s been a year we need to all file a suit against them
We bought a new house from Tilley's for my grandma who's almost 89
We bought a new house from Tilley's for my grandma who's almost 89. We paid the deposit in August and did the down payment and closing in September. They said it would be done in 30-45 days. But now we have a lot of problems. The roof is messed up, the siding is loose, the piers keep falling, there are sharp things sticking out of the floor, the countertops are made of MDF which is bad for moisture, there are new cracks in the ceiling, and the dirt pad is too small. The people they sent out to fix it didn't do a good job. They even took dirt from our yard to make the pad bigger. The cosmetic stuff will be fixed by the manufacturer, but Tilley's won't finish their part of the deal. I talked to the service manager and Greg Tilley, but they didn't give me a plan to fix it. They just said sorry and blamed someone else.

I got a mobile home from Greg Tilley's and it came on October 26
I got a mobile home from Greg Tilley's and it came on October 26. It's now January 8, 2022, and we still can't move in. I've called a bunch of times to get things going, but no one's getting back to me. The door's been left open a few times, and I'm worried about stuff getting inside. I just want Tilley or someone to finish the trim and inspections so we can move in. I've left messages, but Tilley hasn't called me back. It's been almost 3 months, and I can't even enjoy the new home smell. Tilley's been paid in full, but it seems like they're not doing anything. I need someone to tell me when we can move in because it's costing us more money where we are now.
We've called Tilleys many times over the past year for repairs
We've called Tilleys many times over the past year for repairs. Our floor is uneven and has soft spots. The front glass door leaks water and they only repair the pump at the top. We have constant water intrusion through the chimney stack and hairline cracks throughout the home. The shelf for our master bath was never received and now they blame COVID-19. Our kitchen drawers fell off the rails because the rails were too short. They cut a hole in the 2nd bathroom to fix a leak but never repaired the Sheetrock. We're frustrated with the lack of communication and repairs. We kept emails and phone call records, but they still haven't fixed everything.
We been tryna get our home fixed up right since we bought it from Tilleys
We been tryna get our home fixed up right since we bought it from Tilleys. They never finished the setup and now they won't even talk to us. We went to their place in Bossier City back in March and found a house we liked. We talked to a salesman and made some changes to the house. We filled out the paperwork and got approved pretty quick. They said it would take 5-6 weeks to get our house, but it took 7 weeks. They blamed it on COVID-19. When we finally got to see the house, it had some damage from transport. The delivery company dropped it 18 inches and messed up a bunch of stuff. We had a lot of problems with the house, like a crooked wall, cracked walls and ceilings, broken tiles, and more. We tried to contact Tilleys, but they wouldn't answer our calls or emails. We had to file a complaint to get anything done.
