My name is Comna, I took my 2014 Jeep Cherokee to tire choice (1105 Dam Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA) for charging system issue, on 01/23/23. It turned out to be an alternator problem (according to them). I gave them the ok to go ahead with the repairs. The total cost for the repair was $838.39. I was in hurry when I picked up the car, so didn't really check anything. When I got home, I realized the hood was not closed all the way, I pushed close it but did not get the idea to check the basics under the hood. A week later exactly on 01/31/2023, the car overheated. From the day I picked up the car to the day it overheated (8th day), the difference in mileage is 146 miles or an average of 18 miles a day. The overheating happened on the day I drove the car the most on those 146 miles. I had to tow the car back to them and that cost me $130.00. reaching the alternator on a jeep Cherokee latitude (4 wheels drive, 6 cylinders), requires to take down a lot of parts including the AC system, Ok was told by other mechanics. Meaning there is a probability they did not put everything back correctly, which caused the coolant to leak. I did not see any coolant on the floor when the car overheated, and there was never a coolant on my driveway. After overeating, I tried putting the coolant in it and it all leaked down right the way. I told them they put the system back wrong that's why the coolant is leaking but they wouldn't accept it. So they charged me $163.24 to fixe the upper radiator hose to seal the leak. Other than the charges, these people talked and acted down on me, at least three employees stood by the shop window and literally was making horrible gestures in my direction and Pointing at me. I felt humiliated. This was the last time I took my car to any tire choice for repairs, unless this situation is resolved otherwise. I also will do my best to file all possible complaints with customer protection and military consumer protection bureaux and other competent agencies. And when I picked up the car today, I realized there were bumpers on the trunk (physical damage) like if someone bumped it to something. I did not say anything because I have no proof against them. This is horrible and the customer service is nuts.

Desired outcome: Refund of at least $163.24 + the towing charge of $130 for total of $293.24

Coolant hoses do not get removed EVER when replacing an alternator!
