I put down a $500 deposit on 6/26 for a car I ordered
I put down a $500 deposit on 6/26 for a car I ordered. They went ahead and sold the car, but I still haven't gotten my deposit back. The sales guy and the manager both promised to handle it, but I've tried calling, texting, and emailing them and haven't heard anything back.

I bought a car from Todd Wenzel Buick GMC last June and it was a terrible experience. I never bought a car from a lot before and they took advantage of me. The salesman, ***, had a bad attitude from the start because I didn't have any money to put down. I asked for a different salesperson, but they refused. I really needed a new car because I have three young kids and my old car broke down. He knew that, but only showed me a small *** Trax, even though I said it was too small. I had no choice but to accept it. I traded in my old car and they gave me more money than it was worth, which helped me at the time. When I talked to the manager, I asked if I could look at a bigger car, but he said I had to stick with the *** Trax because of the lender's requirements. Now, I can only fit one car seat in the car and it's not safe for my kids. I went back to Todd Wenzel to see if I could trade it in for a bigger car, but my credit score went down because I went to two other dealerships. When I went back, they assigned me to *** again, even though I asked for someone else. He basically blamed me for not being able to get a bigger car and didn't do anything to fix the situation. I worry every day about getting into an accident and my kids' safety because I can't fit their car seats. This is Todd Wenzel Buick GMC's problem and if anything happens to my kids, I will sue them.

Todd Wenzel Buick GMC in Davidson replaced a warranty engine in my vehicle in 5/21. The car was a *** ATS 2.0T with a full CPO warranty. I drove the car for about 150 miles and the new engine exploded. They had the car for months and said they were waiting for a GM mechanic to come and inspect it. But they weren't really waiting for anything. They took a picture of a part they installed in my car and sent it to GM technicians to put a warranty block on my car, so they could avoid doing any more work. This was despite the fact that they had just installed a new engine that only lasted 150 miles. They are trying to blame it on an automotive program that another dealership recommended I buy. Todd Wenzel diagnosed my car and assured me that I didn't need the computer program, only a new engine. However, they ended up putting the computer program back into my car along with the new engine. I drove it for 150 miles and it blew up again. Now they are lying to GM and saying they don't know how the computer program got into my car, even though I have paperwork and witnesses to prove otherwise. I also have recorded conversations with myself and the service manager where they said the opposite. The manager is misrepresenting and lying to GM because they don't want to take responsibility for a craftsmanship issue with the new engine or for installing a computer program that caused the engine to blow. They never gave me any documentation or diagnostics explaining how a computer program could blow up my new engine. They simply told me they were towing my car back to my house and would no longer work on it. They are completely responsible for any damages that occurred after the engine replacement. If they claim that the computer program they installed broke the new engine, then they should be responsible for replacing it. They are acting as if I somehow magically became a GM mechanic and programmed the car myself.
