Travelopod agent lied about total cost, baggage fee and which airline

Original agent and 2nd agent both lied about a non-existent baggage fee, lied about the total cost of the flights i purchased, and then lied that I was flying on British Air when the flight was going to be on American Airlines. I had explicitly told the agent multiple times before purchase that I refuse to fly on AA, and he lied by telling me that I was flying on British Air. Even my receipt had this deceptive information on it, stating that the flight was on British Air, but was really an AA flight number. I filed a fraud dispute against the company and the credit card charges.

After I made a fraud dispute with our credit card, I called the original agent again to ask again for a full refund. I was told on a recorded line by the original agent and someone else there that I would be getting a full refund in ten days. I am now waiting for that to happen. The original agent worked hard to get us a flight schedule that did not include but one short leg on American Airlines, since I refused to fly on AA, that was the very best the Travelopod agent could offer. If we do get the full refund that we paid for the trip we bought on Thursday, we will be satisfied with our transaction.

Travelopod 0 accountability and terrible service

I would give a 0 Star if I had the option. Travelopod is completely untrustworthy. I had booked tickets for my kid and myself through the website. The name on the ticket only took my first surname completely truncating the other two. Instead of taking responsibility for this issue I was put through stress for a whole 5 days where I had to keep reaching out for the status of the change. They also made me pay for the name change when it was a technical issue at their end. Lesson learnt.., I will never book on travelopod again.

Travelopod unethical behavior, lies, ripoff

Beware! this company sells high-priced tickets and don't provide accurate/important information when you book the flight with them. Very poor service. If you call them to resolve any issues, the wait-time is very long and they are not helpful at all. Their whole intention is to steal your money by changing or canceling the flight and keep your money for their own benefit. Never buy ticket from them...it's trap. Buy the ticket from the airlines itself. Highly unethical people!

Travelopod not reliable and overcharge

Each rep says different prices for changeable and refundable tickets but at the end both says it is airlines price I don't know how one airlines can have different prices based on travel agents. it is really bad experience with travelopod. it clearly tells me their lies while conversation. I wouldn't go travelopod anymore or not refer anyone. Travelopod not reliable to the customers

Travelopod scam booking agent

I have booked tickets from cvg to maa and return from maa to cvg. While going it was smooth but while coming instead of cvg they have booked tickets to lga. I have asked this question to customer care person while booking tickets itself they said its promotional offer so you don't need to worry you may or may not use that lga option. On the arrival I have not able to collect my baggage. Delta supervisor mentioned you have booked tickets to lga and you have to collect your baggage at lga only. I have traveled with 1 year infant I have waited almost 4 hours in airport to cleanup this mess. Travelopod got a cheap ticket price to cvg by booking tickets to lga instead of cvg and asked passengers to skip the lga from cvg. Its been three days already still I am waiting for my baggage. Travelopod offered 50$ compensation for this mess up. I am thinking of screwing this company legally.

Travelopod air tickets/service

I won't recommend Travelopod to anyone. Travelopod and Turkish Airlines both are thieves. They won't refund your money even if you notify them prior to 3 months in advance from your journey. They will quote such a high rates that they are equivalent to buying return tickets from some other airlines. $1000 extra for changing a travel date of a journey between Chicago and Mumbai...and that's just for a one-way ticket! I requested them on June 10th, 2017 to change my travel date from September 9th to June 22nd. They refused it, they also refused to refund my money...so no refund no change at all! and they argue that it is a ticket that they bought from auction by Turkish Airlines...such a liars...Cheap people, Cheap company.

Travelopod due to connecting flight delay, I had to buy tickets again for next flight.

travelopod issued tickets from
Hyd - Delhi - Air India
Delhi - Cincinnati - Air France

Air India flight got delayed fro Hyd to Delhi and missed flight to Cincinnati.

They were unable to accommodate next flight and they wanted me to buy a ticket again as its not their fault. neiher air india not air france took resonsibility.
Airfrance claimed that this is seperate ticket( which I am not aware of and really cheated by travelopod) and they are not responsible.

I had to buy ticket to next day flight to come to cincinnati.

travelopod should take responsibilty for this and pay me back.

Travelopod stupid service

Representatives are not even able totalk to customers. I am in an emergnecy where my parents had to travel to india and asked to prepone and they took 5 hrs just to say that they can do nothing. There was not even a call to say what was happening. It utterly stupidity to do business with you all. Now when i talk they say no flights can you travel in another flight. Cant we look online and book other flight? What support is this

Travelopod tickets

My tickets were cancelled for no reason, I had to call to rebook, the prices went up and I was FORCED to pay extra money for NO fault of mine. And then to make matters worse, these ridiculous people had charged my credit card for an extra $125 for NO REASON. I tried to email time and time again regarding this and NONE of their pathetic agents got back to me. I had to waste my time in an hour long phone conversation to get my money back. I am never using travelopod again. Pathetic and unprofessional

Travelopod overseas travel

I have a reservation to go to Manchester england in august. I was never told the ticket was non refundable, My return flight layover in Atlanta was changed by you without question as to if that would be ok with me. now my plans have changed and I can't go to england. So how do I get a credit on a domestic flight later in the year, or get my money back from the ticket. If I had known it was non refundable I would never have booked. Being as the flight is a month away you can resell the ticket, and I shouldn't have to be penalised for unforeseen circumstances.

Travelopod Refusal to cancel the tickets and refund money

They issued ticket to me 48 hours after talking to them over phone where there policy says tickets will be issued within 24 hours and when I called them to cancel the ticket 4 hours after issuing the ticket they are refusing. The reason they are giving me is that it's more than 24 hours. If it would have been withing 24 hours then we can refund is what they are saying.

Travelopod I had a bad experience with Travelopod

I had a bad experience with Travelopod. I booked two tickets through this company and due to some circumstances I had to cancel one ticket. Travelopod charged a cancellation fee and promised I'll get a refund within one or maybe two weeks. After two weeks of waiting I called Travelopod and asked about my money and they said that they need more time. They did not explain anything and just said that they need one more week.
I'm still waiting for my refund and its now over six weeks and I feel that something is wrong here. I really need help!

Travelopod Sold 2 stop over ticket instead of 1 stop over

I purchased Kuwait Airways ticket through Travelopod and I inquired about the "technical stop" fine print mentioned in the iterinaeray. The reply in writing I recevived from travelopd was : "With reference to our conversation in regards to the reconfirmation, we would like to inform that this is confirmatory email stating that there will be no change in the planes or security and baggage re check in for the technical hault in Ireland"
I returned back to US from India on January 2nd 2017 on Kuwait Airways flight from Kuwait to JFK and there was a long stop in Shannon airport (supposed to be a technical stop) where in we had to get down from the plane taking all our cabin luggage with us and go through security check-in in the airport and wait for almost 2 hours to board the same plane. This is not considered as a technical stop rather another stop over. Considering that it is a 2 stop instead of 1 stop, asking travelopod to refund $450 as a compensation for 2 stop trip instead of 1 Stop trip
Please beware of the false information or wrong representation from Travelopod while selling the air tickets

I have a bad experience with refund of cancelled tickets.
On November 13th I booked 3 tickets to India and cancelled them on November 21st. The cancellation was approved by me via email for $3081 and CSR mentioned that a refund will be given within 4 weeks. Even after 6 weeks now I have not received the refund. Several times I called them and every time they put you on a long hold and the phone will go mute (conveniently). Yesterday I could get hold of one CSR and he mentioned that there was some technical error from airlines and the refund will be given within 1 and ½ week. Today I received a reply to my email mentioning that it will take another 4 weeks to process the refund. Travelopod should change their business to “Sluggopod” for their sluggishness in handling customers money. If they are truly genuine, they should refund the customers money immediately and wait for the airline to pay them later. They act like a middle man and get the profit cut but not willing to serve the customers in a proper manner.
I would not recommend Travelopod to my family and friend for booking air tickets.

Travelopod Worst customer service

Here I had a telephonic conversation with the agent name "RICKY", regarding tickets fare and charges, this person was so rude and arrogant in talking. Travelopod should improve their customer service and on board some soft spoken persons who can communicate properly.

Travelopod Flight booking

This is worst agency to book your flight tickets through. They promise you a fare and make you go through the payment portal and then email them confirmations and all that about a booking, and just before the 24 hour booking change deadline they will call you and tell you that the ticket they promised you is no longer available and you will have to pay a higher price to get the same ticket. Their support team is even worse, they just say we will do our best and keep asking for more time while they don't do anything at all. At the end of the day, when your vacation is supposed to be a stress reliever, all these people do is to make booking for it a living hell. Please do not book through these people, even if you have to pay a few dollars more, book through someone else.

Travelopod Beyond ridiculous!!

I have booked a flight via Travelopod because of their cheap prices. But due to some circumstances I had to cancel my flight so I contacted Travelopod and asked them to cancel my booking. They said ok and cancelled it immediately.
Then I asked for a refund and they claimed they already refunded me. What?! I just asked them to do that and they claimed they already did that? When?
I called the next day and spoke to another person which said they do not give refunds. Are you kidding me?
They said I'll get a huge discount on my next booking but I refused to accept that and demanded my money.
Third time I called they said I'll get my money in a week!
It seems like these people just don't understand what are they talking about! One said they don't provide refunds, another person said ok no problem. Terrible!

I booked flight and other sites they are providing very less price. When I asked customer service, they told check Airline Site for the price. We have provided same price and Customer Service is behaving worst.

Travelopod They told us that child's items were for free, but it was lie

We booked the tickets for the plane through the company www.travelopod.com. It was terrible and completely unprofessional, because they told us that all additional items for the child were for free. However, the staff in the airport asked to pay for the pram and baby cot. We paid, but it was unpleasant that the company hasn’t warned us and told about the rules. Don’t trust them for 100% and check all information.

Travelopod They overcharged us for the second bag

People, be careful, because the staff of the company www.travelopod.com fools their customers. We booked the trip and wanted to choose the baggage. We choose one bag for $150 and the second one was for free, but in result my wife paid for the second bag as well. They didn’t explain why the second bag was so expensive. Seriously, we wasted rather large sum on this website and wouldn’t advise it to other users.

The agents absolutely use ur eagerness to cash out. They have the luxury of 20% profit on top of airline charges. Don't listen to their agents . They trick trick u . Later u will find out that they are charging 20% extra as they do two transactions. 80 and 20 %

Travelopod charged service fees other than airfare on my credit card.
Terms and conditions on their website doesn't say anything about service fees.
