About 1 month ago I purchased of private English lessons at home from Tutoroo which had various photos and profiles of English teachers in my city on its site.

After a week, all the teachers in my city disappeared from the Tutoroo site .

To date, after hundreds of my emails and messages on their messenger (they don't have a phone to call, nor a physical address), only Jericha responds occasionally.

The answers are always the same, like ''we're sorry, we'll sort it out see you soon with your problem'' or ''our team will contact you'' or other similar things. They say that their policy does not provide for refunds, but they are not able to provide the service, that is, english teacher's lessons.

They are based in Singapore, but also operate in Europe where European laws apply and not those of Singapore.

I have made a police report and I want to move forward because this kind of thing is unacceptable.

Unfortunately I have only now seen the various reviews online where other customers say exactly the same thing and Tutoroo responds to the reviews with the usual phrases" we're sorry, we'll resolve your problem immediately...", but the weeks pass without offering either the service or a refund.

How is this called? PURE SCAM

Untill now nothing has been resolved with Tutoroo.Tutoroo does not have any teacher(english mother tongue from UK) and proposed me just one guy(andrew from UK) at the end of September.Andrew had just 1 hour on monday and 1 hour on Tuesday at lunch time.It did not match with me.

After this proposal, Tutoroo disappeared, they didn't offer me any other teacher who comes to my home and is a native English speaker. I repeat, no other proposal. As I already wrote, they don't provide the teacher and don't refund. I have all the emails about this I can send you.

What they do instead (always and only the same person Jericha) respond with the same sentences for 1 and a half months, ''we are sorry for what happened... our Monaco team will contact you as soon as possible...''

To date I have paid 300.00 euros for lessons and I have not done even one and have not been reimbursed.

It's not fair to say that everything was solved with Tutoroo. Last week I was in the USA and I couldn't reply to you, but now I can. I hope that the world is informed as much as possible about the scams that exist online.

Please,reread my last message here carefully.

After a month and a half of writing to you via email and on your messenger, without having 1 hour of an English teacher(mother tongue from UK) ,lessons at home.

All 4 professors based in Monaco mother tongue UK either never responded or have disappeared immediately from your web site.

Valery (one of your hypothetical English teachers) wrote to me that she had no intention of giving free lessons, as Tutoroo had taken all the money that I had paid (300.00 euros) and therefore she would have to work for free.

Absurd!

Rightly so she ran away from Tutoroo and from the website.

I repeat, only 1 professor, Andrew, responded by giving me availability on Monday or Tuesday at lunchtime, which wasn't good for me.

After Andrew no one else, since the end of September.

You replied that your policy does not provide for a refund.

What does your policy provide for, theft, fraud?

To date all that remains is the full refund of what I naively paid to Tutoroo.

My time for English lessons is over and I don't want to spend my life running after Tutoroo to enforce my rights.

I want and demand a full refund (300.00 euros) having not had the opportunity to have English lessons at home (not because of me, but because of due to Tutoroo).

Unfortunately, only after paying and seeing that Tutoroo does not provides the lessons and does not refund anything due to its own error,

I went to look for the various Tutoroo reviews online and I saw that they did the same to many, many, many people.

Before paying online, go and look for the reviews, pls.

For me Tutoroo is SCAM.

Dear Tutoroo, you can localize me as Antonella from Monaco.I do not think you have so many client and so many client from Monaco.i hope you will find a final solution, that means a refund as my time for english lessons was last mounth and not anymore now.Remember please I paid 300,00 euro for english lessons from Uk native teacher at home(no online or similar).Read carefully my messages here for a recap, even if you have thousands messages from me by mail or by messanger on your web site.Thanks

From September 25th to today Tutoroo has not given me even 1 hour of lessons nor even 1 euro refund (I paid 300.00 euros on September 25th for native language lessons at home). For a week they have blocked me from writing on their site Tutoroo messenger, but every day I write to them by email and Jericha (the only one who writes to me) replies every morning the same sentences for 2 months, like ''our Monaco team will contact you as soon as possible ... or ... we are sorry, but we appreciate your patience...'''.

I would like the phone or email of this famous Monaco team, silence comes.

The Monaco team does not exist, only this Jericha from the Philippines (nickname) exists.

I have hundreds of emails with all this that I write here, but how you can see Tutoroo replies here that they are contacting me and I don't reply.

You can understand the level of scam.

I also told Tutoroo, write here, in public, what you want to do, but Jericha repeat the same lie.Tutoroo

For me it was a great theft, and a great scam and people need to know who is Tutoroo.

Tutoroo can't prove that I haven't responded since September 25th because there are hundreds of emails from me to them, but he writes here it anyway, thinking that the readers on the other side are stupid.

I have told Tutoroo several times to write to me here in public, to solve the problem, but you will see that if he replies, he will write again that I don't reply.

Absolute low level of time waster.

I was in USA untill today and impossible to answer.Tutoroo has not solve any problem with me,at all. No lessons, no refund, always the same answer,as ''We are doing the possible... or Our Monac team will contact you as soon as possible, etc..

Tutoroo does the same with so many other people.I discovered it only after my payment, reading the reviews online.

We disgruntled customers of this awful company need to form a GROUP so that we may collectively approach the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Small Claims Court. Even Singapore has laws about contractual cooling of periods and refunds that this company, TUTOROO ignores as it knows that it will cost more to make a small claims settlement via the Singapore Small Claims Court than most of us can afford or are able to deal with such from afar. However, the owner of this sham company is Dutch and we may well be able to get at him via EU trading standard laws.
