Unsold.com Review: Mixed Experience with Booking and Customer Service
So, I went to Boston, which is like my second home, and I was all set to stay at the Copley Sq. Hotel. But when I got there, I found out that the hotel was closed for renovations! Can you believe it? I had no idea when this happened, but it was a real bummer. Luckily, I had booked my room through Unsold.com, so I thought they would have my back. But nope! They had no idea that the hotel was closed, and they had booked me a room anyway. So when I got there, I was out of luck. There was no room for me!
I was pretty upset about this, so I gave Unsold.com a one-star review. But then, something surprising happened. They actually called me! Can you believe it? They apologized like crazy and even sent me a refund receipt. I'm still waiting for the credit to show up, but at least they're trying to make things right.
They even offered to give me a multi-night stay somewhere else to make up for the trouble. I'm still waiting to hear back about that, but it sounds pretty good to me. I think they really didn't know what was going on with the hotel, but that's not really an excuse. If I had been a student or a family without a lot of money, this could have been a real disaster. Luckily, I was able to find another hotel, the Courtyard Marriott at 88 Exeter, for a similar rate. So crisis averted!
Overall, I'm willing to give Unsold.com another try. We'll see if they follow through on their promises. But for now, I'm just glad I was able to find a place to stay.
Unsold.com Review: A Nightmare Experience in Banff - Zero Stars!
I gotta say, Unsold.com is a total disaster. I mean, if I could give them zero stars, I would. My family and I booked a three-night stay in Banff, and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare from start to finish.
We arrived at the hotel with our kids, who were soaking wet from swimming, only to be told that there was no reservation for us. Can you believe that? I was so angry and frustrated, but I called Unsold.com right away to try and get it sorted out. They promised to fix it, but an hour went by and we heard nothing. So we left the hotel to get some food for our hungry kids, and we kept calling Unsold.com, each time getting more and more upset.
Finally, after 7pm, the hotel management called us back and said he was going to pay and fix the reservation right away. But guess what? He never did. We waited and waited, but no call back like he promised. So we called the hotel again, and they told us that he never even called them. Can you believe that? We were so angry and frustrated, and to make matters worse, Unsold.com was closed by then, so we couldn't even get in touch with them.
In the end, we had to pay $275 for just one night at the hotel, just so our kids wouldn't have to sleep on the street. It was a total disaster, and honestly, I've stayed in hundreds of hotels over the past 10 years, booking on dozens of online sites, and I have never been treated so poorly. I don't know what we're going to do tomorrow, and I spent the first day of our vacation crying from all the stress and frustration. It's just not fair, you know? We spent so much money and time planning this trip, and it's all been ruined because of Unsold.com.
Unsold.com Review: Rough Start, but Great Customer Service in the End!
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Unsold.com. I was trying to book a hotel, but my country wasn't listed in the booking details, so I couldn't complete the booking. I reached out to their support page and called their phone number, but I didn't get any help. They just took my info and said they'd get back to me. But even though they claim to work 24-7, they never answered my calls or emails.
I was pretty frustrated, especially since they have good reviews on other websites. But I decided to give them another chance and sent them the info they asked for. And you know what? They actually called me back and issued a full refund within 48 hours! The girl who helped me was really nice and even apologized for the booking issue.
Overall, I'm happy that I got my money back and that Unsold.com made things right in the end. I feel more confident booking with them in the future, even though I had a rough start.
Unsold.com Review: Amazing Deals on Top-Notch Accommodations!
I gotta say, I was pretty skeptical when I stumbled upon Unsold.com. The prices were so low, I thought it had to be some kind of scam. But, being the adventurous type, I decided to take a chance and book a couple of deals. And let me tell you, I am SO glad I did!
I just got back from a 7-night stay in Cancun, and it was amazing. The resort was top-notch, and I had zero issues with my reservation. If you're thinking about booking through Unsold, here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. Be flexible with your dates. Once you purchase a deal, you'll have access to Unsold's inventory and available dates. The more flexible you are, the more options you'll have when it comes to choosing where to stay.
2. Keep in mind that the deals are only for 2 adults, and you can't make any changes once you've booked. So if you're not 100% sure about your dates or who you're traveling with, it might be best to hold off on booking your hotel.
3. It's always a good idea to follow up with the hotel directly to confirm your reservation and make sure everything is in order. A quick phone call can give you peace of mind and help you avoid any surprises when you arrive.
4. If you have your heart set on staying in a specific location (like a certain neighborhood or city center), Unsold might not be the best option for you. While there's a good chance you'll end up close to where you want to be, there's no guarantee.
5. If you're particular about having a certain view, there are options to upgrade. I paid a little extra to get a sea view, and it was totally worth it (check out the photo of the view from my balcony!).
All in all, I would definitely use Unsold again for future trips. The prices are unbeatable, and the quality of the accommodations is top-notch. Thanks for an amazing vacation at a crazy low price!
Unsold.com Review: Hidden Fees, No Cancellation Policy, and Poor Customer Support
I recently tried out Unsold.com and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. I signed up on 7/15/2021 because they had a promotion with $50 free and no fees for the first 7 days of service. The annual fee of $79/annually would kick in after that. I made a reservation and was excited to see what the site had to offer. However, when I received their email, I found out that there was an additional $43 parking fee per night. That was not disclosed on the site and I was not happy about it.
So, I decided to cancel my membership and reservation on the same day. But, when I tried to cancel, I found out that Unsold.com does not do cancellations. They said that I must contact the hotel directly. I did just that, but the hotel had no record of my reservation. I even tried using Unsold.com's confirmation number, my name, and my hotel membership number, but nothing worked. It was a complete mess.
To make matters worse, Unsold.com has no support contact phone number. You have to go online and fill out a form to contest the reservation, cancel it, and stop the charge. They did respond to my complaint about fees and cancellation, but there was no resolution yet. It was very time-consuming and frustrating.
I would advise anyone to stay away from Unsold.com. They cannot cancel a reservation and will charge you a cancellation fee of $149. It's just not worth the hassle.
Unsold.com Review: A Nightmare Booking Experience, Stay Away!
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Unsold.com. I thought I was getting a great deal on a hotel room for my vacation, but it turned out to be a real headache. I signed up for their new membership program and got a room in the adults-only section of a big hotel chain. I was excited because this meant I'd have access to a separate pool just for grown-ups. But when I called the hotel to confirm my booking, they had no record of it. What the heck?
So I emailed Unsold and they told me there was some kind of "mapping issue" on their end that put me in the wrong part of the hotel. They didn't even apologize or offer to fix it. I asked them to cancel the reservation for me, but they never responded. I'm still trying to get my money back before the free cancellation deadline, but it's been a real struggle.
I read some mixed reviews about Unsold before I booked, but I figured I'd give them a chance since the price was so good. But now I regret it. I paid $800 for just 3 days in this room, which is a lot of money for me. And now I don't even know if I'll have a place to stay when I get there.
I really want to warn everyone: don't book through Unsold.com. They're not even trying to help me out, and I don't want anyone else to go through this.
Unsold.com Review: Scam Alert! Don't Fall for Their Non-Existent Deals!
I'm telling you, Unsold.com is a total scam! I paid them on September 5th, 2020 for a vacation from August 17th to August 24th, 2021. But when I called the hotel, Castle Kamaole Sands, to confirm my reservation, they told me that it had been canceled on August 5th, 2021. And get this, the hotel staff had never even heard of Unsold! They told me that my reference number was through Hotel Beds and gave me their contact info. So, I called Hotel Beds and they told me that they were the wholesaler and that Unsold was the travel agency. But here's the kicker, Hotel Beds never received the payment from Unsold! Unsold canceled my reservation and said that "the customer requested a refund." But I never requested a refund! I even booked my plane tickets and rental car with the non-refundable/no changes option because I had already booked the room through Unsold, and their website clearly stated that the hotel reservation was non-refundable and couldn't be changed. I've been trying to contact Unsold for over three days now, but I haven't heard back from them. And to make matters worse, their website is "temporarily unavailable." But get this, my bank account statement shows that the money was withdrawn from my account on September 7th, 2020, and I still haven't received a refund! My trip is in one week, and I have no other choice but to book another hotel room. This time, I'm going through a well-known site like Expedia or Kayak. I hope this review will save someone else from getting scammed. Don't be stupid like me. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Unsold.com Review: Reservation Cancelled Without Notice, No Customer Service Assistance
Me and my hubby decided to give unsold.com a try for our first ever trip on July 11th 2021. But now, it's August 7th and I'm feeling pretty bummed out. Why, you ask? Well, turns out our room got cancelled on August 4th 2021 without any notice! I only found out because I tried logging into my unsold.com account to see if there were any other hotels we could book while we're out west. But the website was down for maintenance! So, I called the hotel directly and they confirmed that our reservation had been cancelled on August 4th.
Now, I work for a telecommunications company here in Canada, so I know that websites can go down for maintenance. But I couldn't find any helpful information on how to get live assistance with our concern. I tried looking for a customer service contact number, but no luck. I did find a live chat for customer service, but I've been waiting for over 8 hours for a rep to answer my chat. And I don't think they're gonna answer anytime soon.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this company. Save your money and book with Hotwire or Bookings.com instead. My hubby and I have been using these two reputable companies for years with no issues. If unsold.com contacts me with an explanation and refund, I'll update my review. But until then, I'm sticking with Hotwire and Bookings.com.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention - I have an email stating that I purchased the hotel room and that it was confirmed. So, I'm working on updating the pictures. Good luck to everyone out there!
Unsold.com Review: From Panic to Paradise - A Big Shoutout to Rhory!
So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Unsold.com. It was about a year ago when I decided to buy a five-day Hawaii hotel program from them. I mean, who doesn't wanna go to Hawaii, right? Anyway, fast forward to this summer when my family and I were finally able to go. I went online to Unsold.com to check out the available hotels for our travel dates and sent in a request for a reservation. And guess what? They confirmed it on May 29, 2021.
But then, things started to go south. I waited a week and decided to contact the hotel to see if we could get an upgrade. And you know what they told me? They said that no such reservation existed! Can you believe it? I was freaking out, man. I mean, what was I gonna do? My family was counting on me to make this trip happen.
But then, out of nowhere, Unsold.com assigned this amazing person named Rhory to help me out. She was like a guardian angel, you know? She took charge and worked her magic. She asked me what hotel would make my family happy, and I told her about the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, which was our favorite hotel on the beach. And you know what she did? She made a reservation for us at the Outrigger Waikiki Resort in an upgraded room! Can you believe it? I was blown away.
And get this, it wasn't even their fault that the first reservation didn't work out. It was just the summer season, and the hotel was full. But Unsold.com didn't give up on me. They went above and beyond to make sure my family had an amazing vacation. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint.
So, if you're thinking about using Unsold.com, I say go for it. They really came through for me, and I know they'll do the same for you. And a big shoutout to Rhory for being such a rockstar. She really saved the day.
Unsold.com Review: Terrible Experience, Lost $600 and Cancelled Reservation Last Minute
I had a terrible experience with Unsold.com. They took more than $600 from me and cancelled my reservation just a month before my planned trip to New York, even after I had already purchased my airfare. I was left with no choice but to get airline credit for my airfare. It was a huge inconvenience and I was extremely angry about it.
I made two purchases from them back in June 2020, and both of them turned out to be a complete waste of my money. I was so disappointed that they would do this to people during a pandemic. It's just not right.
To make matters worse, the hotel (Doubletree) was not willing to honor or discount any part of my stay. They simply told me to go to their website and book at standard rates. I should have known better than to trust Unsold.com, but I made the mistake of buying three deals from them. I was able to get one of them refunded through a chargeback, but I'm still out over $600.
I know that others have lost even more money than I have, and it's really frustrating that Unsold.com would do this to so many people. It's a lesson learned for me, and I won't be buying anything from them again.
If you're thinking about buying something from Unsold.com, my advice is to only buy things that you plan to use within 90 days. That way, you can file a chargeback if something goes wrong. I'll be using Southwest Hotels through booking from now on for my hotel needs. At least I can earn points towards my next vacation's airfare.
I did write to Unsold.com asking for a refund of my other charges, but I don't expect to get anything back. They need to allow us to put this on our taxes as straight losses! It's just not fair that they can get away with taking people's money like this.
Can you imagine going to an international location only to find out that your reservation has been cancelled? It's a nightmare scenario, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Stay away from Unsold.com and save yourself the trouble.

Unsold.com Review: Shady Business Practices and No Refunds for Cancelled Flights
Yo, so I gotta talk about Unsold.com. I booked a trip to the Maldives for July 4th, but thanks to COVID, my flight got cancelled. So I hit up Unsold to let them know what was up, but they straight up took my money and didn't give me nothin' in return. That's some shady business, man. It ain't right that they can just take my money like that when it's outta my control. I tried to reschedule my trip for a later date when I could actually get a flight, but they ain't done nothin' about it. Isaac Okorafor here, and I'm feelin' pretty defrauded and ripped off by these guys. Ain't no justice in that.

Unsold.com Review: Lack of Transparency and Customer Support
I recently had an experience with Unsold.com and I must say, it wasn't a very pleasant one. I purchased a voucher that was supposed to be redeemable within 24 months, but to my surprise, I found out that many dates were not available at all. This information was not clearly stated before I made the purchase, which left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
To make matters worse, when I tried to contact their support team, I found out that they only offer support through their website and do not have a phone or live chat option. I submitted a support ticket, but all I received was an automatic confirmation of receipt. I was hoping for a response that would go beyond that, but unfortunately, it never came.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Unsold.com as a trustworthy business. It's important to be transparent with customers about availability and to offer reliable customer support. In this case, both were lacking. If you're considering using Unsold.com, I advise against it.
Unsold.com Scam: Cancelled Reservations and No Refund from BookVIP
I bought some reservations through Unsold.com, but when I checked with the hotel, they said that our reservations were cancelled. We didn't get any notice about this, and we didn't get a refund either. It turns out that our credit card was charged by BookVIP, but they didn't tell us anything about the cancellations. When we called the hotel, they said that our "travel agent" cancelled the reservations, and they couldn't do anything about it. We tried to contact BookVIP, but they said that we were out of luck and money because Unsold.com is no longer in business. We're trying to dispute the charges with our credit card company right now.
Unsold.com Review: Read the Fine Print Before Booking Your Vacation
Yo, listen up! If you're thinking about booking a vacay on Unsold.com, you gotta read their terms and conditions, cuz they don't mess around. They say all reservations are final, non-refundable, and non-amendable. So, if you change your mind or something comes up, you're outta luck, my friend.
And don't even think about trying to split up or combine your vacation package days, cuz they won't let you do that either. They got some heavily discounted saver rate, and they're stickin' to it.
Now, I gotta tell ya, I had a little problem with my booking. I wanted to stay in Santorini for 5 nights, but I could only book 3 nights in one hotel. I tried to book the other 2 nights, but it just wasn't workin'.
So, I sent some emails back and forth with Unsold, and they offered me two options that were pretty reasonable. I gotta give 'em credit for that. And, after we worked it out, they even called me to confirm the solution. That was a nice touch.
Overall, I'd say Unsold.com is a decent option if you're lookin' for a good deal on a vacation. Just make sure you read the fine print and know what you're gettin' into.
Unsold.com Review: Terrible Experience, Scam Alert, Do Not Use!
Unsold.com is a website that I would not recommend to anyone. I had a terrible experience with them that left me feeling ripped off and frustrated. I booked a reservation through their website and paid for it in full. However, 12 days before my trip, I received an email from Unsold stating that I had requested a refund and that my reservation had been canceled. This was completely untrue. I had never asked for a refund and had no idea why my reservation had been canceled.
I tried to contact Unsold to find out what was going on, but their customer service was terrible. I was put on hold for long periods of time and was eventually told that there was nothing they could do to help me. I was left with no choice but to book another hotel room at the last minute, which ended up costing me four times the amount I had originally paid Unsold.
This experience was a complete scam and I would caution anyone against using Unsold.com. If a website is asking for reviews before you even go on your trip, it's probably because many people have had issues with them. I wish I had done more research before booking with Unsold, but I hope that my experience can serve as a warning to others. Don't be stupid like me and trust this website with your hard-earned money.
Unsold.com Review: Mixed Experience with Last-Minute Deals
I've had the chance to use Unsold.com twice now, and I must say, it's been a mixed experience. The first time around, I was looking for a place to stay in a popular destination, and I did get three offers that were better priced than what I could find elsewhere. However, I must say that the discounts were not as great as they claim on their website.
The second time around, I was looking for a place to stay in a different destination, and I got three choices. However, two of the choices were for the same hotel, and I could find a cheaper rate on other websites. The other hotel that I was offered did not look particularly great either.
I must admit that my dates were during peak time, which I knew would limit my options. However, I appreciate that Unsold.com gives you the opportunity to change your destination after you've paid. This is something that most other websites do not allow.
Overall, I think Unsold.com is worth a try, especially if you're looking for a last-minute deal. However, don't expect to find the best deals out there. It's always a good idea to compare prices on other websites before making a final decision.
Deceived by Unsold.com: Booked Banff, Got Canmore
So, I was hyped to go on a family trip to Banff, Alberta and decided to book through Unsold.com using a 3 day voucher. I searched for hotels and found Sunset Mountain Inn and Spa, which was listed as a Banff destination. I made the booking and was all set for mid JULY 2021. However, when I decided to check out the directions to the hotel, I found out that it was located 25 kms and 21 minutes outside of Banff in a completely different town called CANMORE. I was like, what the heck? I feel like I've been bamboozled.
I checked the reservation screen shot and there was no indication that the hotel was located in CANMORE. I mean, seriously? Now, I'm stuck trying to explain to my family why we're staying in the cheaper and less popular town of CANMORE for our BANFF trip. It's a bit of a bummer, to be honest.
I'm hoping that Unsold.com can do something to fix this. It's not cool to deceive customers like this. I mean, we booked for Banff, not CANMORE. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done at this point, but it would be nice if they could at least acknowledge the mistake and try to make it right. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Unsold.com.
Unsold.com Review: Cheap Prices, Good Customer Service, But Beware of Unauthorized Charges
So, I decided to give Unsold.com a try for my upcoming trip. I created an account and started to do some research on hotels. At first, I was excited to see that the prices were very cheap. However, as I dug deeper, I realized that all the prices were in US dollars, even for Australian hotels. I mean, come on, this is an American website, so I guess it makes sense, but still, it was a bit of a letdown.
Anyway, I had some concerns about different things, so I sent several emails to the company. To my surprise, I always got a prompt reply. I was impressed by their customer service. However, last week, I noticed that $79 US dollars had been taken out of my account without my authorization. I was not happy about this, so I immediately contacted Unsold.com. They responded quickly and promised to refund the money. However, it has been 7 days now, and I still haven't received my money back. To make matters worse, the website is currently under construction, which is making me even more nervous.
I sent another email to the company, and once again, they responded promptly, saying that the issue had been resolved. However, I still haven't received my money back. I am starting to get worried about what is going on with this company. I hope they can sort out this issue soon because I don't want to lose my money. Overall, I think Unsold.com has some potential, but they need to work on their currency conversion and customer service.
Unsold.com Review: Great Deal, Terrible Payment Process
So, I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a sweet deal for a 5-day, 4-night trip to Santorini for only USD 316! I was stoked and immediately tried to make the payment. But, guess what? The gateway rejected my card and I didn't get any confirmation of the booking. I thought it was an unsuccessful transaction, but later on, I found out that my credit card was charged! What the heck, man?
I was so frustrated that I had to make international calls to my bank to inform them about the situation. They told me that they could only block my card to prevent any further suspicious charges. I had to contact the merchant myself to validate the transaction. It was such a hassle, and I was not happy about it.
But, to be fair, Unsold.com responded quickly to my complaint and investigated the issue. They found out that the payment failed in the midst of gateways after two days, and the credit card charge cancellation took about 7 days. However, they did not explain why or how the root cause of the transaction bug.
Overall, I'm not too impressed with Unsold.com. The deal was great, but the payment process was a nightmare. I hope they can improve their system to avoid these kinds of issues in the future.
Unsold.com Hotel Deal Review: Blocked Weeks and Misrepresented Quality
I recently bought a weeklong hotel stay in Bangkok from Unsold.com for $216, which included fees. However, I have to say that it was not a good deal. When I checked their calendar for the remaining months of 2021, I found that more than half of the weeks were completely blocked, even though they were not holiday weeks. It didn't matter if I looked for mid-week travel or weekend, the results were consistently blocked.
Moreover, I noticed that at least one of the hotels was rated 3.5 stars on TripAdvisor, which means that Unsold.com misrepresented the available hotel quality. Most of the hotels, if available, were of passable quality at best. I also found that no national or international chains were options. And to top it off, most of the hotels had lower or equal weekly rates if you booked them separately, and were without penalty for cancellation.
In my opinion, this was definitely not a 75%+ off deal. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for better rates with better flexibility and no refund request hassles. Although Unsold.com has agreed to refund my price paid, I am still skeptical if that will happen.
Overall, I would not recommend Unsold.com to anyone looking for a good deal on a hotel stay. The blocked weeks and misrepresented hotel quality make it a less than ideal option.
I have booked 3 holidays with them and never heard a word from them. Never even knew they went out of business until I checked into booking my holidays. I have emailed so many times. The form just keeps saying I am on the list. So much time has passed.
