Until Gone Review: Faulty Products and Poor Customer Service - Try Brads Deals Instead
I've been shopping at Until Gone for quite some time now and I gotta say, I've spent a lot of money with them. But, I've had some issues with their products and services. For example, I ordered a Christmas present that was delivered broken and it took them over two weeks to respond to my request for a fix. I've also had to remind them to ship my items on multiple occasions. But, the worst experience I had was when I ordered multiple "junk boxes" that are supposed to be a mystery box of random items. I waited over a week to receive them and had to reach out to them again to ask for my purchases. When I finally got the boxes, they threw all three of them into one box (even though I purchased them separately) and duplicated five items. When I asked them to swap out some of the duplicates, they basically told me tough luck.
I get that things happen, but when you don't deliver on what you promised, you need to take care of your customers. That's why I've stopped buying from Until Gone. Sure, they have discounts, but many of their items have come faulty or incorrect, and they don't make it right. It's just not worth it.
Instead, I've found a new site called Brads Deals. They have daily deals that they comb the whole web for, and I've been using them for a while now without any issues. They always back up their goods and I feel like they actually care about their customers. So, if you're looking for a new place to shop, I highly recommend checking out Brads Deals instead of Until Gone.
False Advertising and Poor Customer Service from Until Gone
So, I recently ordered a Cree XML-T6 LED flashlight from Until Gone. The ad clearly stated that the flashlight operates via 1 x *** Li-ion rechargeable battery (included). However, when I received my order, there were no batteries included. I was really disappointed and contacted the Customer Support team to report the error. But, to my surprise, they responded with a ridiculous claim that I was confused and that the ad states the batteries are NOT INCLUDED. I mean, come on! The ad is still on their website, stating that the batteries are included. Obviously, these are special batteries (Li-ion rechargeable), NOT ones you'd just have lying around the house. Now I have this completely useless flashlight. I have requested a refund, but I'm not holding my breath. It looks like classic "bait and switch" to me. I plan to report Until Gone to my state's Consumer Affairs Department. I know it won't accomplish anything for me, but maybe if there are enough complaints, other consumers will at least be aware and avoid getting scammed like I did.
There are other smaller details that I want to mention. When Until Gone responded to my complaint, they didn't email it to me. Instead, it was put on my account on their website. They didn't even email me to notify me that I had a message from them. So, over a week passed before I signed onto my Until Gone account (to send yet another complaint) and saw their lame response. Also, the item (flashlight) was mailed in nothing more than a bubble envelope! The flimsy box it had been in was completely crushed. There was NOTHING else in the envelope----no invoice, no NOTHING. Of course, I can't check to see if the flashlight was damaged in transit BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ANY BATTERIES FOR IT!
In conclusion, I am really disappointed with my experience with Until Gone. The ad clearly stated that the batteries were included, but they were not. The Customer Support team's response was ridiculous and unhelpful. I plan to report them to my state's Consumer Affairs Department.
Until Gone Review: Good Deals, but Beware of Junk Boxes and Terrible Customer Service
Yo, so I gotta say, I checked out Until Gone and it's got some good deals, but you gotta be careful and compare prices with other stores before you buy. I found some stuff cheaper elsewhere, ya know? Until Gone Review: Scam Website Selling Counterfeit Products, No Returns or Refunds
This website is a total scam. I ordered a "Dyson Super Sonic Hair Dryer" and when it arrived, I knew something was off. There were a few red flags that made me think it was a counterfeit product. For one, it didn't have a ground fault circuit interrupter on the electrical plug, which is required by all manufacturers since 1991. When I tried to register the product, Dyson informed me that the serial number had been used multiple times and was flagged as counterfeit. I tried to get a return label, but they completely ghosted me. I filed a claim with the BBB, stating that this company is selling unsafe counterfeit products and not allowing returns or refunds, even though their policy says they do. I will NEVER buy from here again and HIGHLY recommend you spend a little extra money to get a product that is actually what it says it is. This has been the biggest disappointment and I am at a loss of $300, considering that no one has gotten a return label to me. They claimed that I had to wait 24 hours for them to get it from their "supplier". This website is a crock of fake phony crap. BUYER BEWARE.
Update 1/16/2020 - After filing a dispute with my credit card company, I received an email from Until Gone a few hours later, issuing me my refund. A few days after that, they sent me a return label. Overall, I'm still upset that I was sold a counterfeit product that was advertised as authentic Dyson. I question whether I would have received my refund if I hadn't been persistent. I'm glad my issue has been resolved as I desired it to be, but I won't be using this site again because of the fake product and the difficulty in getting a hold of customer service.
Until Gone: Disposable Bluetooth Shower Speakers with Poor Customer Service
I bought a couple of small bluetooth shower speakers from Until Gone website in late January. Unfortunately, one of them was dead on arrival, but the other one worked fine. They shipped another one, and I thought everything was good. However, as of 4/24/19, none of the speakers will hold a charge, and they finally stopped working. I wrote to their customer service department again and told them about the remaining defective speakers. Their response was not satisfactory.
"I am sorry to hear that you have an issue with the item you purchased from us. I know this is not the quality of service you deserve, and I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. As I have reviewed the purchase, this was under our 30-day warranty. Looking into this case, I regret to inform you that the warranty associated with this product has expired. Thus, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement. I am sorry if this isn't the response that we both wish to resolve your concern and thank you for understanding. Please let me know if you have any questions."
I understand that one of the $12/pair speakers may not work, but all three? With the same issues? I can't be the only unlucky customer that had defective speakers. When I read "this is not the quality of service you deserve..." and they won't do anything to help, I was just about speechless. They sold a lousy product with a 30-day warranty. They should have advertised DISPOSABLE SPEAKERS because that is what they sold me, and that's what I'm stuck with. We should not be subjected to this kind of poor product or service.
There are so many good companies that value their customers and would bend over backwards to make things right. This is not one of them. Beware of UntilGone.com: Sold Me a Used Roomba as New, Refused Refund
I bought a Roomba automatic vacuum from UntilGone.com on February 17, 2020. I was so excited to use it when the carpeting was installed in my living room, which was supposed to happen the first week in March. But due to Covid-19, the installation was delayed and completed this week on June 30. Finally, I got the chance to set up the vacuum, but it didn't work as expected. After a half-hour of the unit beeping and displaying warning lights, I called the iRobot customer care for help.
The iRobot Customer Care representative told me that there is no original serial number on the unit, and where the model number should be, there is a blank space. The battery in the unit is defective and is a battery for the 500 series unit. The unit I was shipped is a 600 series Roomba. The iRobot Customer Care representative informed me that the unit was most likely used or refurbished and told me the unit would work properly with a new battery. I was shocked to hear that I need to buy a new battery for $99.99! If the unit had an actual serial number and model number, they could have sent me the battery for free, but the unit UntilGone.com sent me has been pieced together with various parts. The company advertised and sold a used/refurbished item under the guise of being new. The serial number and model numbers had been removed from the item prior to being shipped from the company.
I completed the online form for customer support with this request, and received an unsatisfactory answer citing their 30-day return policy. I understand their policy, but I don't think it releases the company from their obligation to advertise or sell previously owned or refurbished products as used, or at the very least, not new. I also was unable to use the product within this 30-day time frame because my floor installation was not completed on time due to Covid-19 closures and the contractor being forced to reschedule.
I am very disappointed with UntilGone.com's service. The company has refused to refund my $130, and I feel cheated. I would not recommend this website to anyone.
UntilGone Review: Terrible Customer Service and Scammy Practices
I gotta tell ya, I had a real bad experience with UntilGone. They used to be called Yugster, and I used to love buying stuff from them. I mean, I got all kinds of cool stuff for my yard and even some NFL gear. But then, in December 2017, everything changed. I ordered this really nice "Ship in a Decanter Bottle" as a Christmas gift, and it arrived on December 2nd. I was so excited to give it to my friend, but when they opened it on Christmas day, we saw that it was broken. I was so upset, and I immediately contacted UntilGone for help.
But let me tell you, they were no help at all. It took them until the second week of February to even respond to me, and when they did, they told me that there was only a 30-day warranty on the item, and that it had started the day I ordered it. Can you believe that? I hadn't even had the item for 30 days when it broke, and they were trying to tell me that I was out of luck. And to make matters worse, they had taken over two weeks to deliver the item in the first place, but they still counted that time as part of the warranty period. It was a total scam.
I was so disappointed in UntilGone. The decanter was a Christmas gift, so there was no way for me to know it was broken until my friend opened it. And then, when I finally got in touch with UntilGone, they offered me a measly five dollars as compensation. I was on their highest membership tier, and that's all they could offer me? I told them to keep their five dollars, because it seemed like they needed it more than me.
And that's not even the worst of it. I also ordered one of their "junk box" deals, thinking it would be a fun way to get some stocking stuffers. But let me tell you, it was a total load of crap. Most of the stuff was so useless that I had to donate it. I was so disappointed.
So, let this be a warning to you all. UntilGone might seem like a good deal, but they're just scam artists in disguise. Don't waste your time or your money on them.
Terrible Customer Service Experience with Until Gone Website
Until Gone is a website that I recently came across and I have to say, I am not impressed. The customer service is absolutely terrible and it should not be ignored.
I have made a few orders from Until Gone in the past and I was a happy customer until my latest order. I ordered three items on October 28th and when they arrived on November 8th, one of the items was completely wrong. I had ordered a dog seat cover/divider, but instead, they sent me an item that was meant for tiny dogs and definitely not a seat cover.
I immediately reached out to Until Gone on November 10th and explained the situation, even including a picture of the wrong item. However, I did not hear back from them for two days, so I wrote to them again on November 12th. It took them eight days to finally respond to me on November 18th, and they basically accused me of lying and said that they never sent me that item.
I was furious and wrote back to them on November 18th, asking them why anyone else would send me an item using their mailing address and shipping label if it wasn't them. It took them six more days to respond to me on November 24th, saying that the picture I forwarded could not be an item purchased. I was traveling during the holiday season and did not give this matter any attention until December 3rd, when the Until Gone representative contacted me again and asked for an accurate picture by December 5th.
I finally forwarded the correct picture on December 5th along with a picture of the receipt. However, it took Until Gone ten more days to respond to me on December 15th, saying that the images would normally need to be submitted within 5 days of the original complaint and that it may be too late. They said they would follow up with me once they received a reply back from the warehouse.
I have several problems with Until Gone's behavior throughout this entire ordeal. First of all, they have never admitted that they made a mistake. Secondly, they are requiring me to forward a picture, which I am not really required to do. What if I didn't have a digital camera? Thirdly, they are creating rules where none exist and did not even respond within their own imposed 5-day response period. Fourthly, they take an unreasonable amount of time to respond to customers. Fifthly, the burden of proof is on the customer, which is completely unfair. Lastly, they denied sending the wrong item from the start, which is just ridiculous.
I am thankful that this was a low-cost item, but I can only imagine how they would act if they made an error on a much more expensive item. I am also thankful that I purchased this on a credit card because I am finished with trying to "work this out" with a company that is unwilling to do anything that resembles working it out.
In conclusion, I would never do business with Until Gone again and I highly recommend that you do not either. You get what you pay for and I would never have been treated like this by larger online retailers.

I could talk about Until Gone all day long, but I'll try to keep it short and sweet (although I can't promise anything, because this shop is just too awesome not to brag about!). They always have up-to-date merchandise that's hip, cool, fun, fashionable, trendy, and elite. And the quality is excellent - I haven't gotten any bunk or junk items yet!
If something does disappoint, they have a super simple return option on most items. Just be sure to check before purchase in the item description, as it does vary per item. But all items now have an option to purchase an extended warranty for a year or two. I personally have purchased this warranty, but have yet to need to use it. I'm sure it's wonderful, though, as most things from Until Gone are.
The return process is quick and easy, and the customer service is great. Although, I have to admit, there is one employee who can be somewhat slow on occasion and even close to rude. But all the other employees are outstanding! They're very knowledgeable, kind, extremely helpful and experienced, very timely and reliable, and always go above and beyond to solve your issues with an outstanding solution and pristine resolve.
The response to emails, calls, and online chat is remarkable. I've only run into one poor employee unfortunately multiple times, but on the bright side, she too is always very consistent, and you know exactly what to expect. It's most likely the best bet to just bypass her if possible and work with a different staff member by an alternative means of communication.
All in all, Until Gone has become a family favorite over the years. We've done most of our family shopping with them, and even our friends and neighbors shop with them too. They're so great that even a few enemies shop with them! I could go on all day, but I want this review to actually get read, so I'll wrap it up.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Until Gone. I was so excited to get my order, but it took over two weeks for it to even ship! Every day I checked the shipping status and it just said "preparing for shipment." I was getting pretty frustrated, so I decided to cancel my order in a customer service chat.

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Until Gone. I decided to take a chance and buy a Junk Box a few months back, and let me tell you, it was a total waste of $20. I mean, what did I even get? Some flimsy disposable razors, a mini cologne bottle that looked like it had been opened and reclosed, a mini pressure gauge, some cheap sunglasses that probably cost about 50 cents, a fabric card holder, a fabric bag thing, and some broken earbuds. I ordered a Mystery Outdoor Tool Bag way back in May, and it's now mid-June and I still haven't received it. I mean, come on, it's not like I ordered a rocket ship or something. It's a dang tool bag. I paid for it the day I ordered it, and it didn't even ship until June 6th. What kind of nonsense is that?
I'm so ticked off that I'm not even going to bother opening it when it finally does arrive. I'll just give it to our maintenance man or something. What a waste of time and money.
But you know what? I'm not just going to sit here and take it. I'm going to tell everyone I know about this terrible experience. I'm talking Facebook, LinkedIn, Yelp, you name it. I want everyone to know how awful Until Gone is. Maybe if enough people hear about it, they'll start to shape up and actually deliver their orders on time.
I mean, seriously, how hard can it be to fulfill a single $15 order? It's not rocket science, people. Get your act together, Until Gone.
Yugster Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Order Fulfillment
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Yugster. I mean, I ordered an item weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped! And when I tried to contact customer service, I got ZERO response. What kind of "service" is that?
But it gets worse. My girlfriend also ordered two items from Yugster as Christmas presents for me. After waiting for over two weeks with the status showing "preparing to ship," she suddenly got a notice that the order was cancelled! It's starting to look like Yugster is going down the tubes fast.
I mean, how can you trust a company that can't even fulfill an order after it's been accepted? Needless to say, we're both done with Yugster.
But here's the thing. After weeks of waiting and no response from customer service, I finally decided to ask for a refund and just buy the item locally for Christmas. And you know what? A WEEK later, I finally got a response saying that the item was now shipping, but I could still return it once I received it. And they're even waiving the restocking fee!
I mean, that's great and all, but it took them a whole week to respond to my complaint! And when I submitted it, it said it might take two days to get back to me. LOL, I guess they meant seven!
Anyway, I'll update this review when I finally get my money back. But for now, I'm not impressed with Yugster's customer service or their ability to fulfill orders.
Warning: UntilGone is a Scam! My Bose SoundSport Headphones Arrived Damaged and Defective
So, I bought a pair of Bose SoundSport headphones from UntilGone. The package arrived in a small cardboard box and I was excited to see if the product was any good. However, the headphones arrived in a random plastic bag with all the other parts and pieces shoved into the box. There was no Bose packaging or any literature or warranty card included.
When I took the headphones out, I noticed that they had scratches worse than the ones I have owned for 3 years. The sound quality was also terrible, lacking any clarity and sounding completely muffled. I suspect that UntilGone may have sold me either knock-offs, refurbished products, or Bose rejects.
To make matters worse, UntilGone has no customer service and the site seems to be a total scam. I strongly advise against buying from them as they seem super shady.
*** UPDATE: I decided to contact Bose and gave them the serial number. They informed me that this pair had originally been sold in 2017, which means that they had been knocked around for 5 years and then repackaged as new. However, Bose's customer service was amazing and they agreed to send me a brand new replacement pair! As a brand, Bose has earned my lifelong trust and admiration, and I promise never to buy any Bose product unless it's from a reputable retailer.
