I have had nothing but bad issues with this company. I account has been unreview for month. I don't know why. Can use my credit card to make purchases. Never received a physical card to use in the mail. I was lucky enough to write the card number down. When they finally do reach you on your issues are still never fixed. They have no customer service skills and will respond in what seems to be computer generated interactions. I deposited money into my new Uphold account, immediately buying some cryptocurrency. I repeated this process the next day depositing the same amount of money into my account. My bank flagged the second deposit as a duplicate purchase saying the purchases were done on the same day. I stopped payment on the second deposit not knowing if it was the the second deposit or a duplicate first deposit. Once Uphold saw that the one of the payments was stopped they shut my account down. I had no issue with this. The second deposit was returned to me due to the stop. I explained this to up Uphold and they stated my account had to stay closed. I responded no problem, please return my first deposit. They refused saying only replying by stating I could appeal the closing of my account. At that point I no longer wanted to do business there and again asked for a refund of my original deposit. They will not return my emails. Please stay away from this company.
My account was shut down 11 days before I was eligible to withdraw funds, with the accusation that I obtained money through deceit. This is straight theft and goes against their company policy. I purchased $9,600 worth of crypto on Uphold, from 04/11 thru 04/18. Then 04/19 I received an email from Uphold stating that they weren't able to verify my ID. So they included a link within the same email to resubmit my ID and selfie. Which I did and the verification system kept crashing every time the 4th check mark would light up for ID approval. And my account was restricted and put under review. I contacted the Uphold support team for assistance and multiple team members would send me the same broken link that kept on malfunctioning. Then finally on 06/09, I was able to complete the ID verification. (In which one of the Uphold support members stated that the review and restriction would be lifted once my ID was verified.) On 06/18 I contacted the Uphold support team again to ask why the restriction and review was not lifted yet, and today 06/21 I received an email from Uphold stating that they can no longer offer me an account. In a week I would have been able to transfer my crypto to a cold wallet, if not for the undeserving restrictions. Even though they are offering a refund of my holdings, which are $4,100, a far cry from the $9,600 I purchased at two months ago. All I ask for is for Uphold to remove the restrictions so that I can have access to move the crypto that I paid for. This is truly a scumbag move that Uphold is pulling on it's customers. DO NOT CHOOSE UPHOLD! Learn from my mistake.

I spoke with my bank this morning and they assured me that they never cancelled the transaction. My experience with Uphold support has been awful
My experience with Uphold support has been awful. My account has been locked for the past month, during which time I've had no access to trades, withdrawals, deposits, anything. With the market crashing I've lost roughly 40% of the overall account value since it's been locked. Uphold support had no response for weeks - only customer service reps asking to be patient. It's now clear they don't know what's causing the issue on my account, and are essentially leaving it up to me to figure out. I've spent hours working to try and get my account back. It's cost me time, money and frustration. Uphold's response is "Be patient". There is no phone interaction, just infrequent emails asking me to repeat the steps I've done a dozen times, and take screen recordings of me doing it because they don't believe me I guess. I'll be filing a complaint with the *** of *** Licensing, and Regulation and I encourage everyone on Complaintsboard.com with poor experiences to do the same. Companies this incompetent should not be allowed to operate in the .

I've done my best to contact Uphold customer service numerous times. And each time all I got is what appeared to be an automatic response. With a link to verify my personal government issued ID such as drivers license and selfie photo to prove who I am. After many attempts to click this link, it never worked every time. Their authentification methods are flawed and filled with internal errors. I took screenshots of the error messages to prove this problem. Their customer service has been unable to help me regain access to my account. I have over $50 USD of BAT Cryptocurrency in my account. I'd prefer to start a new Uphold account with my current amount of cryptocurrency put into the new account. I've filed a dispute with my Debit Card PayPal Bank Account. Because Uphold failed to properly help me in a timely manner through their email system. This has been on going from Feb 24th 2020 since I first made my initial deposit using my debit card. If there was another way to sign into my account that would help or another way to verify proof of who I am.

My total investment was about more or less $7,000 distributed to different crypto assets like Ethereum, Cardano, XLM, XRP, Dodge, DGB, DOT. etc. ON July 19, I noticed that my investment in ETHEREUM was withdrawn and the amount of almost $4000 was reduced to only $1925. I checked this and found out that I didn't do anything but instead it looks like someone was hacking my account.After then, I informed right away the Uphold customer service and emailed them since I cannot login anymore in my account. It looked like they locked my account. The customer service responded through email only and we cannot follow nor talk to anybody in person. We tried many many times to contact them through email only since no telephone to call. We asked that we wanted to talk them so that can explain more our problem especially in accessing my account but instead they responded just to wait through email and even there was a message that said, "don't contact us again with same issue - and just wait". But, until now, since July still we cannot access our account and we also didn't know what happened to my money (investment).I file this complain because I wanted to stop and get back my money (investment). I also didn't hear since then any words from Uphold on what happened to my ETHEREUM that had been hacked. But, there are emails that they sent us saying "that they will investigate. and also saying they were investigating and don't send us email regarding the same problem". Uphold is preventing me access to my account. Their password reset wont send me the 2FA SMS text to verify identity, even though I have done everything through them and been a customer over a year. Their support is really bad at following up, they have no number to talk to a person, only through emails. They never answer any relevant questions, just get upset about opening multiple tickets, even though there are multiple issues: securing account, verifying identity system not functioning, no access to account, etc. ticket # is #***.Uphold will hijack your account, not give you reasons why, not allow you to resolve issue in a timely fashion.
Uphold requested information from me to verify the account around June 30th. I was traveling and returned back to the *** on July 16. I answered their questions and provided the necessary documentation. They locked me out of my account and wont respond to my emails to log into my account to transfer funds or continue maintaining the account. I opened an account spring last year. I invested about 12 thousand dollars. Out of nowhere there were two transactions that sold my cryptos and put the money into an unknown account. I made a complaint. Then I dropped my device into water and lost my way into the account and forgot about it. About 9 months later I logged into my account with my global ID. They suspended my account. I told them I want to file a complaint. They stonewalled me and have my investments hostage. I want to see my account, hold the people who frauded me accountable, and I want to either keep my investments or cash out . That should be my right.

Lately with the down market and a serious health matter I need to access my funds and have $7700 sitting in cash there plus some in digital currencies. I have been trying to make a withdrawal of my funds to use for my business since the end of May. I have been emailing customer service back and forth for weeks. First, it took them forever to tell me that there was a hold on my account and they asked me to submit all this proof of my business and proof of my identity. I did all this when I opened the account so I am not sure why I was being asked for it AGAIN. I sent it all to them again right away, like the next day. They kept asking me for the same information over and over. Then FINALLY after like 3 weeks, they took the hold off, but now they are still not letting me get my funds. They will not verify my bank so I can take a withdrawal. They keep telling me that "they are assigning a specialist" to my account, but I NEVER hear from this person, and nothing ever gets done. It is just a lie. They have been holding my money hostage for over a month now and no one there will truly help me. I sent a message to their compliance team with an official complaint against them and they replied with an apology, but I still cannot get my funds. I do not know what to do at this point. I feel like they are trying to steal my money. I told them I would start writing letters to regulators which is my next step if they do not fix my account and let me take my funds. Truly the WORST company I could have NEVER imagined having to deal with. I hope you can help me somehow. Thank you.
My account was placed under review/restriction the first day I created it, on May 16th, 2022. The following day, May 17th, 2022, my account was unlocked, and I received an email confirming that my account was fully verified. On June 7, 2022, I linked my debit card to my verified Uphold account and purchased about 25 units of a certain token. On June 9, 2022, I successfully transferred these tokens to my external wallet.
On the same day, I linked my bank account and attempted to purchase $10,000 worth of cryptocurrency. However, due to Uphold's limit of $2,500 per transaction, I had to arrange four separate recurring payments of varying amounts. The transactions were as follows: June 9, $2,500 worth of OP coin; June 10, $2,400 worth of another cryptocurrency; June 11, $2,400 worth of Coti; and June 13, $2,500 worth of Eth (refer to evidence provided).
Out of these four transactions, the last one, the $2,500 purchase of Eth, did not clear ACH for two reasons: firstly, my account was short by a few hundred dollars, and secondly, my bank wished to discuss the flurry of transactions, which I found to be a reasonable request.
Fast forward to June 23, 2022, I received an email informing me that my account was under review once again and that I should contact support for more information. When I reached out, the support agent informed me that my account would remain closed. Seeking a clearer explanation, I was met with the same response. Upon further inquiry, the agent explained that my account, with $7,500 worth of investments, was locked/restricted due to the last payment of $2,500 not clearing, and they inquired about the reason. After I explained the situation, I was told yet again that my account would remain closed.
As I file this complaint, I still have approximately $7,500 within their system that they refuse to return to my bank or allow me to withdraw. I am in need of assistance.
In March I got an email saying someone from *** took all my money from my account. I never gave permission and tried to resolve this right away. Uphold support has been no help at all. No updates or anything. I invested over $1k and market was down and almost $400 worth was stolen. Photos include transfers not made by me!
My initial account was compromised on 5/9. The fraudulent purchases were placed back into my checking account on 6/21 and there was a remaining balance of roughly $13, 749.67 left in my Uphold account that was in my uphold account before these fraudulent charges were made beginning on 5/9.Between the dates of June 15th and June 30th I made roughly 27 deposits into Uphold from my US Bank Checking account for $29,143.07 which brought my Uphold account to just over $41,000. These transactions were approved by US Bank and the money was withdrawn from my account for each of these 27 transactions. On June 30th at 7:00 pm my account was closed and put under review. From this point my account balance was at $0.00 and has not been corrected since this point. I have spoken to my bank and they cleared and approved all purchases made between June 15th and June 30th and did not retract any payments. They will be in touch with you and this will most likely be my last ditch communication. I have spoken to my lawyer and he told me to send a final clarification and contact US BANK which I have done 1st thing this morning. I understand people make mistakes but there is $40,000 gone missing out of my account overnight and I have been patiently trying to clarify the issue with your team the best I can. I did have an initial account breach but this case has since been resolved and I secured my account and began redepositing funds with uphold to invest. This money and case is not at all related to the first incident and cannot just be wiped from my account.Please take time and try and review my case and my account. I would like to find a common ground but I have to have my funds put back into my checking account. You should be receiving communication from US Bank as well this morning and we will get this resolved one way or another.
Im attempting to withdraw my funds from the digital currency app uphold but theyre making it impossible. Depositing funds was as easy as entering my debit card information and contacting my bank. Withdrawing funds requires an actually bank account/ routing number. Once entered and successfully logging onto my *** Fargo banking app I get a notification on the uphold app that my bank information can not be verified. They dont give a reason as to why, other then any possible discrepancies between my ID and bank statements. I noticed that my ID included my full middle name while my bank statement only included my middle initial. I understand that this is a very small issue but I notified the uphold support team anyway. Since identifying the possible issue myself and bringing it to their attention, theyve stopped responding to my emails and have not provided any timetable as to when my bank can be verified to allow me to collect my funds. Ive emailed them once a day since the issue and have yet to receive a response.

There is several thousand dollars in my account with Uphold and unexpectedly Uphold has restricted it. After completing their verification process I was put under under "Review". I cannot invest in nor sell my crypto if I chose to and it has been this way for 48 hours. The complaint is for their lack of transparency, explanation and holding my money hostage without reason. I have submitted several tickets but the only response has been that my case was sent to a "Specialist". What a specialist does I cannot say because so far it has been automated messages and requests to not submit anymore support tickets. Unfortunately after reading their many reviews I am beginning to fear Uphold may be a scam or so understaffed as to be incompetent making it an unsafe service to invest with. June 9 2022 I did an ach withdrawal from my bank account into my uphold cryptocurrency account. My bank canceled the transaction on June 12 2022. I purchased $500 in btc I was only able to withdrawal 198 of that. Uphold has locked my account and is refusing to let me withdrawal my money. They see were they have made an error and is still refusing to give me my money. I have been emailing back and forth with this company for days with no resolution. I did all this when I opened the account so I am not sure why I was being asked for it AGAIN. I sent it all to them again right away, like the next day. They kept asking me for the same information over and over. Then FINALLY after like 3 weeks, they took the hold off, but now they are still not letting me get my funds. They will not verify my bank so I can take a withdrawal. They keep telling me that "they are assigning a specialist" to my account, but I NEVER hear from this person, and nothing ever gets done. It is just a lie. They have been holding my money hostage for over a month now and no one there will truly help me. I sent a message to their compliance team with an official complaint against them and they replied with an apology, but I still cannot get my funds. I do not know what to do at this point. I feel like they are trying to steal my money. I told them I would start writing letters to regulators which is my next step if they do not fix my account and let me take my funds. I deposited money into the Uphold app and I have been trying to withdrawal my money for over 2 months. They will not allow me to withdrawal my own money until I set up a "2-factor Authentication". I have tried over 10 times to set this up and it had been a completely unsuccessful process. The things they tell me to do don't work. I try to get help from the help center and they can only offer me email responses and the things they tell me to do are not working. I feel like my OWN money is trapped in their app and they will not offer me the support I need to withdrawal my own money from them. I reported over $2116 of unauthorized debit transactions off my Uphold card, that had its information stolen and used to pay for services and goods on Venmo, i called fraud immediately the moment i realized that someone had my card information. i made the request to have my $2116 of USD funds returned to me, but they have frozen my account and disabled sending and withdrawing from my account FOR OVER A MONTH. I had received temporary provisional credit on October 3, but i never was followed up by the team on the findings of their research. i dont use venmo and i am very upset Uphold never gave me notifications that my funds were being debited from my account. i recently have experienced identity theft by someone from jamaica hacking into my instagram account and stealing my identity, i havent been able to get that back, this is the same person who had been using my uphold funds to buy random things off Venmo. i need my account restored to normal and i will need to take out my funds and put it in a safer platform. i dont understand what is taking them so long to get back to me when i simply have asked them to refund me my lost funds, and to also give me full access back to my account so i can remove my funds into a ledger device because of my fear of cyberhacking. it shouldnt take over 3 weeks to get a resolution in place for something that should normally take 1-2 business days i want a response in the next 1-3 weeks

I have been using the Uphold exchange for a year now. This morning when I looked at my account, it has been compromised. Several transactions had been made almost depleting my whole account. The fraudulent purchases were placed back into my checking account on 6/21 and there was a remaining balance of roughly $13, 749.67 left in my Uphold account that was in my uphold account before these fraudulent charges were made beginning on 5/9.Between the dates of June 15th and June 30th I made roughly 27 deposits into Uphold from my US Bank Checking account for $29,143.07 which brought my Uphold account to just over $41,000. These transactions were approved by US Bank and the money was withdrawn from my account for each of these 27 transactions. On June 30th at 7:00 pm my account was closed and put under review. From this point my account balance was at $0.00 and has not been corrected since this point. I have spoken to my bank and they cleared and approved all purchases made between June 15th and June 30th and did not retract any payments. They will be in touch with you and this will most likely be my last ditch communication. I have spoken to my lawyer and he told me to send a final clarification and contact US BANK which I have done 1st thing this morning. I understand people make mistakes but there is $40,000 gone missing out of my account overnight and I have been patiently trying to clarify the issue with your team the best I can. I did have an initial account breach but this case has since been resolved and I secured my account and began redepositing funds with uphold to invest. This money and case is not at all related to the first incident and cannot just be wiped from my account.Please take time and try and review my case and my account. They told me there were a few withdrawals, which I told them were not done by me. They opened a support ticket and told me that someone confirmed the withdrawals via my email. I told them that second verification for all transactions is my *** authenticator app which has the codes that change every 30 seconds and can be accessed only on my phone..They confirmed that my account indeed required verification via my *** authentication app. They didnt confirm that the authentication code was actually used, and I cant see how that would even be possible because my phone was always with me.They recommended I file a police report.I replied telling them that I have no reason to believe my email has been compromised, but even if it had been, why is it that the second authentication - via the *** authentication app, was bypassed. I suggested that it must have been a hack of their system.I also asked them for all documentation in their possession that is pertinent to my account and this situation, Including, but not limited to all data/information that they used in their investigation and that led them to conclude my email has been compromised.I also asked to clarify how this incident will be redressed by Uphold and provide their companys insurance information.They refused to provide the requested information or do any further investigation. They didnt address my concerns that the security breach was on their end. Their response to this fraud that occurred in my account is beyond inadequate for a financial company that is supposed to be a safe and secure custodian of cryptocurrency, and instead the company took a position of store funds at your own risk- no guarantees of security or safeguards against theft.

I opened up an Uphold cryptocurrency trading account just over a year ago. I proceeded to transfer $1,700 over ten transactions to purchase crypto coins as an investment. I also had my credit union debit card information loaded into their system in order to transfer money in (or out, but I never did). On Friday, April 1, 2022, I attempted to log into the account with the app I have on my phone. I was denied access. I downloaded the latest app version and tried again to no avail. I then clicked on "Reset my password", but I did not get any emails from them. I immediately sent an email from a different email account to Uphold support telling them of the problem I was having and demanded that they immediately lock my account. They did not lock the account until after 40 hours later. At that time, they concluded I had been hacked. Apparently, the hacker not only liquidated all of my crypto coins and cash but proceeded to transfer $999 from my credit union through my debit card on file. Uphold's faulty security system allowed someone who hacked my email to drain me of over $2,700 in less than two days. They did not have any two-factor security in place and are not taking any responsibility for the fraud and theft. I am sure that this is not the first time that they've had this issue, and yet they haven't addressed it or communicated with their customers about how to protect the accounts. If Uphold would have locked the account immediately as I had requested, none of this would have happened. They were too slow and unresponsive to avoid a catastrophic loss in my behalf. I was helpless as I could not do anything but wait for them to work their magic. I have entered a dispute with my credit union in an attempt to recover the $999 withdrawn from my checking account - not sure where that will lead though. I am very angry, distraught, and left holding an empty bag when it wasn't even my fault what happened!

Roughly $6,000 was in my account and all of it was sent to to outside litecoin and ethereum addressses. On 12/8, I received an email in outlook (recovery email for my yahoo account) that someone with IP address in *** was trying to login to my yahoo email. I immediately changed my yahoo password. After these transactions occurred, I contacted Yahoo and they confirmed that the email was from them and not a phishing attempt. They were then able to restore deleted emails. Clearly my email was compromised because there were emails sent from Uphold wanting to confirm logins from an IP address in *** and later India with different devices. During this time, someone was also changing the two-step verification settings. The two-step verification uses a completely different app that generates a code every 30 seconds. In order to login to my Uphold account, trade, or send money I have to put in that code. These emails were deleted so I never saw them in real-time. I am baffled that Uphold doesn't have a mechanism in place to completely lock an account with such suspicious activity. I never received any texts to confirm anything.Uphold significantly failed multiple layers of security. My account is registered in ***, yet they allowed access to IP addresses from two very distant parts of the world within 17 hours of each other from different devices never linked to my account. Not once did I receive a text. More concerning is the failure of the two-step verification since that is specifically designed to prevent unwarranted logins. That verification app is specific to my phone so it cannot be used on others. Their customer service does not have a phone number, only email. The emails seem to be bots as they heavily repeat themselves and the emails I have received are verbatim to what others reported.

While sleeping in my studio apartment behind locked doors. Uphold stated in an email to me a explanation of how this occurred on their network. Per the app's instructions, I connected my bank account and initiated a transfer of $800 from my checking account to my Uphold account with the intent of purchasing some cryptocurrency. The date of the *** debit was 4/28/22. I never did purchase any crypto currency and decided to withdraw my funds by transferring the $800 balance back to my linked bank account (the acct used to fund the account on 4/28/22). The problem: When I log into the app, and try to transfer the funds, the app requires me to set up two factor authentication (2FA). I followed the directions provided and am able to generate a validation code but when I copy and paste the validation code, it says it's an "invalid code". I tried many, many, many times, accessing my Uphold account via my laptop and the phone app. Neither works. There is no phone support from Uphold. Users can only reach them via chat and the chat support is worthless - they keep telling me tweak this and then try again. It fails every time and is beyond frustrating.I've seen several online complaints indicating many users have the same issue - they cannot withdraw their funds as the 2FA fails every time. I believe Uphold is a fraudulent company and that all of this is by design. I consistently ask them (via chat) to PLEASE simply return the funds to my same bank account which is linked. In one of my chats, I provided them a copy of my bank statement showing the original transaction as evidence I am the account owner since the 2FA does not work (apparently by design). I just wan the money returned to my bank account. I have attached that statement to this complaint. The chatbots keep suggesting I try 2FA again.I would appreciate Complaintsboard.com's support in getting my $800 balance transferred back to my bank account or a check issued to me. I have been using the Uphold crypto trading app for almost a year. Just over a week ago, my account was restricted. The restriction stated that it was an issue on theyre end. I needed to verify my I.D. I did this with my drivers license as well as a photo of my face for verification. My account was unlocked a few hours later. After a few days my account is restricted again for the same issue. I do the verification steps again. This time my account remains restricted for days and I am unable to reach anyone from the uphold support team for help resolving the issue. I reach out to the uphold support team daily and I receive a boilerplate email stating my issue is being passed on to another representative for help resolving the issue. The issue was resolved a few days ago according to an email I received. I attempted to conduct a transaction which failed and I received an error message stating I was not able to complete the transaction. I reach out to the uphold support team again who inform me they will work on the issue and create a new ticket number which is then merged into the same ticket as it was the initial issue of my account being restricted. I have reached out daily and am informed they are working on the issue. I received an email today stating I could try to update the app (the app is up to date), uninstall and reinstall the app, turn off wifi, reboot my phone and lastly try the desktop website which I did. None of the above worked. I now have to wait up to *** about 10 days. I have screen shots and screen recordings of my account/ crypto balances as well as of myself attempting to conduct a transaction and receiving the error message stating I am not allowed to perform the transaction. Ive reached out to #uphold multiple times on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday the 15th, stating, My account has been compromised. Please suspend any & all *** from my Uphold account. I submitted this urgent request multiple times but Uphold didnt suspend my account or even get back to me until Monday (11/15). By then it was too late. The hacker withdrew my cryptos from a new & unrecognized account. The hacker also withdrew $2,500, in total, from my bank, from my hacked uphold accounts, over drafting my bank account. I dont think that Ive ever even made a withdrawal in uphold so uphold shouldve flagged the transactions as suspicious since someone is all of a sudden emptying my crypto wallet, and changed my bank info to a new & suspicious account, and changed my password, and locked me out using 2fa and changed the only email that is associated with my account to theirs. All while my multiple messages were unread, pleading to have my account frozen. All the while not having a phone number dedicated to customer support-I did leave a message on *** voicemail even though it wasnt a customer support line. They let it.The crypt that I have/had on uphold represent ONE FULL YEARS income for me. I fix & deliver Amish furniture. This is a LIFE CHANGING event! I need my cryptos back & I need to see them all there in my uphold account. This has already caused a medical issue with me yesterday due to the extreme stress with this situation. I will either plaster this all over the web, or I will commend how uphold recovered my cryptos & saved the day. Uphold then on February 24th, 2022 withdrew money from my purchased *** Wallet claiming my bank canceled the purchase so they never received any money from me, amount was $3,936.12. However the transition was successfully withdrawn from my Bank so I contacted Uphold support to resolve this, at this point I had been charged twice. Uphold continuously denied the fact that my initial purchase was received even after I provided, bank statements showing that Uphold reduced the funds from my account and even denied me after my bank Schools First *** provided them with a letter along with Tracer Numbers for each transaction wihch proved that Uphold charged me twice. At this point I am out of $7,872.24. After 1 month of Uphold denying facts, I reached out to my bank to retrieve the money back from my original transaction of $3,936.12, they declared the transaction fraudulent to return my money back to my account. Uphold then went and charged me the same amount by withdrawing from my Uphold wallet and my crypto shares (losing me money on positions in the process). Upholds reason for charging me again was due my bank reporting the 1st transaction fraud. If Uphold never received my money from my original purchase, why did they charge me once my bank canceled the original transaction and reported it as fraud? They should not have had any money to lose unless the purchase was successful. Now its May and Uphold had me locked out of my account since March 26,2022 and reduced additional money from my positions/Wallet. I can't access my account, the support team are not helping. I have done everything they have asked me to do to try and fix the problem. All they do is pass me off to another tech person through email that sends me the same generic emails on trouble shooting. They have my money and i can't access my account to pull it out or transfer it..please don't go through the company or app to do any business.
I have had nothing but bad issues with this company. I account has been unreview for month. I don't know why. Can use my credit card to make purchases. Never received a physical card to use in the mail. I was lucky enough to write the card number down. When they finally do reach you on your issues are still never fixed. I feel my money is going to be robbed from me.Jen
My experience with Uphold support has been awful. My account has been locked for the past month, during which time I've had no access to trades, withdrawals, deposits, anything. With the market crashing I've lost roughly 40% of the overall account value since it's been locked. Uphold support had no response for weeks - only customer service reps asking to be patient. It's now clear they don't know what's causing the issue on my account, and are essentially leaving it up to me to figure out. I've spent hours working to try and get my account back. It's cost me time, money and frustration. Uphold's response is "Be patient". There is no phone interaction, just infrequent emails asking me to repeat the steps I've done a dozen times, and take screen recordings of me doing it because they don't believe me I guess. I'll be filing a complaint with the Department of Financial Licensing, and Regulation and I encourage everyone on Complaintsboard.com with poor experiences to do the same. Companies this incompetent should not be allowed to operate.

They put my account under review with no warning and closed my account shortly afterwards. They are holding my money with no specific reasoning as to why my account was closed and will not allow me ever open an account again! I have done nothing wrong!
