My name is Mona Castello and i reside at 10209 Red Fern Court, Conroe, Texas 77385 and have had a mortgage loan with U.S. Bank Mortgage for many years and in that time i have had MANY issues with my mortgage loan. Each time i have voiced those concerns and written complaints i have been met with the same letters in the mail stating there was never any wrong doing on the part of your customer service representatives etc. Well, here i am with yet another complaint that i am sure will fall on deaf ears as your company is a horrible excuse of a lender but will do this anyway for my documentation and my attorney's documentation. I am writing because i had fallen behind with some mortgage payments June 2023 to September 2023 due to having no child support and having to get that situation resolved. As of September 2023 going forward i have resolved the hardship issue and able to resume making monthly payments at $1059.59 and have made payments in September 2023 and October 2023 (curtailment) but U.S. Bank has refused to accept any more payments from me and when i expressed to several representatives and attempted to explain my hardship was resolved and that i can make the monthly payments i was met with a modification that COMPLETELY CHANGED THE LOAN TERMS OF MY MORTGAGE LOAN. The interest rate went from 4.125% to 7.00% which is INSANE. The partial claim goes to the back end of the loan and causes my monthly mortgage payment to go from $1059.59 to $1439.00 which is UNACCEPTABLE. There is absolutely no way i can afford an increase of $400.00 and have REPEATELY ASKED for the loan servicer to renegotiate to other terms that i can afford and i was told YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS. Really? NO OTHER OPTIONS as said to me by your customer service representative Tracy on a call i had this morning 11/1/23. My income has not changed and has stayed the same. I know there are other options for me and i demand my loan servicer to find other options for me. This is a way for people like you to take advantage of people who work hard to pay their bills and if they fall behind through no fault of their own they are met with this type of bullying and harassment. I have retained an attorney and plan to utilize him if U.S. Bank does not do their due diligence and give me other options to bring my loan current. I want to speak to a GENERAL MANAGER ONLY regarding my loan. I will not accept any calls from a customer service representative from your company. Please do your due diligence and work with me on terms i can afford.
