Aspen Dental

I came to Aspen because I had saw those sappy comercials about how helpful and wonderful they are and the fact of the matter is I was lied to and completely misled. I was brought in and the staff was sweet and made me feel like they had my back and I actually left the office with a feeling of relief. I was an opiate addict, and I don't know why but my teeth crumbled, I am ashamed of how bad they are. If you noticed I used present tense, they are still horrible. When I left the office that day, I went home with a quote close to 10, 000, they sent me to their financial guy and he took my insurance information and ran my credit, it was horrible and I was unable to get any financial help. He then proceeded to run the numbers, he messed around with them and gave me a quote. It was going to be 3200 out of pocket for the top of the line dentures so I paid 500 down with my FSA card and he printed out a form with the list of procedures to be done and the cost of each. I then picked he type of dentures I wanted, which was the Comfylite. Its the top of the line, they are the prettiest and most realistic ones. I left that day with an appointment to go in for the mold so they could make the dentures look like my teeth or as close to it as possible. I also had the date to go in for the removal of my teeth and the placement of my dentures. When it got close to the date I had gotten sick and called to reschedule and the receptionist was rude and nasty about it, so I hung up on her. The next week I went in with my husband to talk to them and asked to speak to Bobby, because my VIVA Medicare told me that I had $500 yearly dental insurance, and was telling him about it when I saw a tray on the shelf labeled Powell. I asked Bobby to see the tray but he ignored the request, while chastising me about missing the appointment. I then repeated myself louder and he reluctantly let me see them, needless to say I was completely enraged. The teeth were NOT the Comfylite they were the Full Basic dentures and the teeth were the size of baby teeth and horribly made. He then told me my insurance didn't pay as much as he thought it would but didn't bother to call me and let me know anything about it. They were going to put me under, pull my teeth and stick those in my mouth, wit out consent. He then tried to tell me that I owed them twice as much as quoted and dropped any discount he had quoted me. I was so upset that I felt like giving up. I was devastated and am still devastated. I want to stop them from doing this to anyone else and make them accountable. I would love to be part of anything that will bring them down. I want the teeth that they first offered the top of the line dentures. I would be happy with that!
