I was in my local Kroger store (6929 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, AR) on 7/1/23 at 2:30. Store manager was named Clint- he would not give his last name.
Several shoppers were looking for grade ALarge eggs and the section was empty. I realize the store has just recovered from a 1-2 day no electricity period due to storm on Sunday and they are slowly restocking, but the Store Manager was Rude. When I asked him eggs were available, just not stocked, he said he did not know and walked off in the direction away from dairy and made no motion visible to radio for assistance. Another employee came by with a Meat cart, but when I asked him, he stopped what he was doing and went to the Dairy section to check(as I expected the manager to have done). Next another employee came who said he worked in dairy- and said he thought there were eggs and would go check. At this time I see the Store Manager by the door to the Dairy back area. As I walk toward him I hear him talking to the dairy worker about how the lady doesn't understand how they work and how busy they are. Then some one pushes a cart with 1 crate of eggs and the manager takes it over to the usual space for eggs.
After I had my eggs I had walked down the aisle and spoke to the Manager again to ask his name. I had to ask 3 time before he answered and then only got first name. He was loading items into a refrigerated area and would not stop or look me in the face while I was trying to talk to him. I understand this store has been revolving management- I think this is the 3rd in less than a year. But this is ridiculous.
Desired outcome: Reprimand the manager
Kroger - Store located at Indian Hills Shopping Center on JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, AR
Store has stopped having 7 am pickups. Store has stopped having frozen hush puppies, frozen garlic toast, frozen hash browns, frozen vegetables, frozen fruit and ice cream. They are a 8am to 6pm store. If you go in, they do not do carry-outs for the customers since summer of 2020. Why is this store still open? You could close it and move the good employees to other stores and let the dead beats go (yes, there are dead beat employees that doesn't nothing in that store. It would cut Kroger's overhead considerable. I have shopped there for over 5 years, but now I'm being forced to find another store. Walmart is closer and has 95% of what Kroger carries. For the few items I need that Walmart doesn't carry, I can drive to another Kroger location for those few items.
Desired outcome: either store closure or all above problems fixed by next Tuesday (8/27/21)
