I went through the drive through at the local Church's Chicken store and after I got home I saw that my order was incorrect. I called the store to discuss coming back and getting the correct food. The person on the phone was speaking Spanish and I told him I do not speak Spanish and asked if he could put an English speaking person on the phone. He told me "we are not going to speak English you are going to speak Spanish" and he started laughing. I could hear other people in the back ground laughing as well. The next day I called back to speak to the manager. She became belligerent with me because I told her "the idiot that got on the phone with me told me I would have to speak Spanish". Well evidently this a family member because she was more upset at my calling the person an idiot, which I stand by, than addressing my complaint. She was rude, loud, and unwilling to address my concern. Also, the phone number on the receipt shows on my phone ID that it is a Puerto Rico phone number, which I found odd. When I googled the phone number for that location there is a different number listed. I called that number and the non-English speaking person answered the phone. It all seems fishy to me. I suspect there are illegal employees working there so I have submitted a report to an organization that investigates illegal individuals working in the U. S. I called the customer complaint hot line as well and they reps there told me someone would follow-up within 48 hours. Well it has more than 10 days, no one has done so. That franchise owner needs to put her attitude in check if she plans to be successful. She also needs to put her store in a better position to serve the public, not her family members. They will suck her dry anyway because I told she is rarely on site and the place is being ran by family members; big mistake. I also reported the incident to the Better Business Bureau, and will continue to complain to Church's about this incident until accountability is reached.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
