Ox Car Care - Diamond policy

I have been a firm believer of getting an extended warranty for any of my vehicles and was treated properly by ox car care when I purchased not only once but a second time one for a different vehicle that I sold and canceled the policy and submitted all the proper documentation but I never followed up on it and so I considered it a loss. This time I purchased it for a cadillac escalade and again had a pretty positive experience and they included 4 oil change reimbursement for at least half the cost of the service and they did follow through I was pleased I used 3 reimbursements and everything was smooth and quick. I made the decision to trade in the cadillac and move over to an electric vehicle, this is where things started taking a turn in the opposite direction for one they do not offer coverage on ev's so I decided to cancel my coverage at this time. I then sent in the booklet and odometer discloser but this time I made copies of all my documents, low and behold I follow up a month later and they conveniently didn't receive the documents so I told them I made copies I can send it again and I called once again and nothing so I asked if there was another way to send it they gave me an email address and finally they received it that way. Fine I will not fault them for this as I have had mail carrier issues in the past as well. So now I'm on a wait according to the person I spoke with marry she was very sweet and I do feel bad as it is not her fault and has to deal with me at this point as a very frustrated person. Please understand that it has been over 3 months of me waiting for the refund and still nothing in my hand, she did explain that they can't go based off the cancelation date since they have received the documentation on October 9th 2023 fine it is November 29th 2023 so what's the issue... now I'm being told that the determination of weather or not I get a refund is going to be December 23rd 2023? That is far beyond 45 business days! I have been really patient but it's wearing thin now and I'd hate to get a 3rd party involved over something that can easily get resolved and should have been resolved already. I have made multiple recommendations to a lot of people since I interact with people daily but this has now come to an end. It's such a shame because I had faith in this company and I referred lots of people to them given the positive outcome with my experience but they tossed it down the drain with my most recent experiences. All I want is the refund I'm entitled to they gladly took my hard earned money but they won't give it back it's very upsetting to say the least.

Desired outcome: I just want my money back!
