I bought a liquid eye shadow and when finally opened it, I could see it was used. I forgot to take it back the next time I visited Ulta so they told me to just bring it in and they would exchange it. I took it back today, expecting a refund but what I got was basically being accused of not paying for it because it was not on my previous transactions. I told them it may have been purchased with my boyfriend's credit card because it was around my birthday, which is at the end of June. She was rude and kept stating I didnt purchase it, but I did. I always watch the cashier ring every item up because ive been charged twice for the same thing before. I was so embarrassed, I finally gave up and told them I will shop elsewhere. I left and called the customer service number and was on hold for awhile before the call was dropped. I then called back again, and then again before I got a live person. I told her what happened and she said she had to put me on hold so she could check it out. I waited and waited, and then suddenly my call was dropped. I tried again and the call was dropped 2 more times before I reached someone. She didnt help at all. She told me they cant refund anything if there is no transaction record. She then wanted to put me on hold. I told her no, I will not be put on hold again. I then told her I will email the head of Ulta to complain and let them know they lost a good customer because I have spent a lot of money there. I have an Ulta credit card with 15,000.00 credit on it. I will be cancelling that card.
Desired outcome: the money back that i paid for it which i believe was 23.00 or a replacement. Although she told me they quit selling it. Its called R.E.M. beauty liquid eyeshadow
