I went in to rent a car for an airport to airport rental, I was informed that was not a problem. Then agent said let me talk to my manger who then said we cant do that without return flight info. I just landed and needed to get home I live in Southern CA 1 hour away from LAX said I'll bring it back tomorrow then was told ok we can do that, then oh no we cant with out no return flight SO basically I can't rent a car for a day and return it without outgoing flight per her manager. Agent gave me a number for another company. A week later co worker landed at LAX rented a car from hertz and returned it to the hertz at the airport where we live. So is every manager different shouldn't company policy remain the same. I was informed airport to airport rental was fine, but then told no not without return flight info .
Hertz - rental car charge not mine
I have sent twice information verifying I was not in Los Angeles or California the week Hertz is charging me $290.28. Then I get a message that the claim will not be overturned from you Credit Claim Department. I will call them on Monday and talk with Supervisor. I am extremely angry that this charge was not erased from my statement. I complied with the request to send my airline information and original rental agreement through Priceline. Hertz - item left in rental stolen!
I recently rented a car from Hertz car company; it was a one-way rental from New Mexico to California. I drove 12-hours straight in order to return the vehicle in 1-day; it cost $153.00 a day. I was in such a rush that I did not check the van throughly when I returned it. I called Hertz to inform them of my error and to inquire if my item had been found. I received no phone call. I went back to the airport site and remembered that I said hello to a you man there, when I had initially check the car in. I asked him if he remembered me and he informed me that he had. I asked if anyone had turned in the DVD.VHS player. This young man was able to describe my item. Long story short. Nobody seem to know where my item was everyone became stoned faced and the lost and found manager stated that no one had turned in the item. When I asked her if she had spoken to the young man, she informed me that she instructed him to not admit that he saw the item unless it was in his hand. So, I have not received a phone call or any follow-up from this company, good service turned out to be bad because of the people who cleaned the cars.
