To Whom It May Concern,
I have been advised that my father (who is a senior and a long time member) and friendly staff were unprofessionally yelled at by a manager named Debbie in front of the crowded gym. It is appalling and disappointing that a person in management would humiliate a senior/customer for a misunderstanding. Proper training was obviously not provided.
My father took 2 of my teens to the gym for about a couple of 2/3 weeks with him with the understanding that he could have guests. Apparently, this manager Debbie confronted him and my teens in a non-professional manner and loud voice as to why are they coming in for free, then proceeded to scold the rest of the staffing as to why they allowed them to come in the past few days. My dad, being a quiet shy old man, just said ok. When the teens got home they let me know how they and grandpa was so embarrassed as to what took place due to other gym members later asking them what happed.
It was my understanding that a member has a +1, and that teens could go in for free? To avoid any further embarrassment, I have bought a membership for my teens.
The only thing I cannot condone is the approach this manager took. I am also concerned how the friendly staff were treated. I hope this does not fall on to deaf ears, and is addressed accordingly.
