Banana Hobby - defective merchandise, not as advertised

Oct. 30, 2011 I ordered a Piper J3 Electric RC airplane w/4 CH BlitzRCWorks 2.4GHZ Transmitter & Receiver for a total of $139.90 US dollars plus $15.51 S&H. Aircraft arrived w/defective parts, would not run. After many hours on the phone with no success, I tried customer help on th internet. After many hours on the internet and sending photos, I was told to mail back transmitter and receiver at my own expense which I reluctently did. Received another transmitter and receiver hooked it up and again the same problem. The model is defective and will not operate. I have checked reviews on the internet and find that many customers have had the same problem with no solutions from this company. They have been dropped by the BBB. The merchandise they sent me is nothing but junk from China. I know I will never recover my money but I hope this helps others from getting scamed by this company. I will notify Pay-pal of this bad company and transction.

The place is the wrose. I have a helicopter that the got from them the transmitter does not work. I think I will have to file a complant with the consumer protection.

Banana Hobby - wrong merchandise/no refund

5/19/10 ordered and paid in full using paypal a rc stealth bomber...it was on backorder due at end of may...then pushed back to end of june...I emailed them for two months to find out when it was coming..finally we recieved a box from them at the very end of June..they sent us the WRONG plane, not at all similar except it was an rc..I called with a bad feeling that this was intentional and was refused the chance to speak with a manager or person in charge..John of cust. service claimed the only way to speak with a higher up was online chat..I knew it was bad at that piont..he told me to photograph the item..thats the only way they would help me send it back..so I did, he sent me an email with a ups label attached..I put it on the box and stuck in on truck the next day, still talking the end of June here...Its July 21 and I have not gotten a refund or email from them despite my sending at least 4 to find out the status of the refund. Now I go online and am finding numerous complaints filed against this company and I myself have filed with the goverment and bbb..pass it on not to buy from this snake oil company..they will take your money and run !
