Our bed was delivered two days ago (12/14/23) and the technicians couldn't get it to work - the power light came on but nothing worked. They double/triple checked the connections and tried different outlets - no luck. They called it in and gave us two options - take the whole bed away and send a new one or leave the bed and they would swap it out for a new one asap. We opted for them to leave the bed - big mistake.
Our experience with customer service has been terrible - super long wait times, getting bounced from person to person. At this point we just want the whole bed taken away - customer service rep said sorry, base is not returnable - doesn't matter that it's broken. The thing doesn't work and sleep number won't take it back?! We should have let them take the whole bed when we had the chance.
I have read through the policies/warranties, etc. bottom line I took away is that Sleep Number has the option to take it back - we want it taken away, we are so soured on Sleep Number. We will take this to small claims court if we cannot resolve this issue, time is of the essence.
Claimed loss: We have taken time out of work to deal with this issue not to mention the stress and anxiety we're experiencing trying to get this resolved.
Desired outcome: Return entire bed, including inoperable base, for a full refund.
