Western Dental Services - Extraction for a tooth

On August 28, 2023, there was an appointment for my tooth extraction. After having this major procedure done, they released me with nothing other than telling me to come back in 10 days to remove stiches. Before the procedure began i was asked where i would like for my prescription to be sent too, my wife provided that info. after the procedure i was sent home and my attempted to pick up the prescription and was not able to do so due to my information not being in their system. Its now Friday September 1st and my face is inflamed and I'm in a lot of pain that's preventing me from work, which is where i at currently (work). I called what i thought was that office and it turned out to be corporate, in which i explained my situation and was told that he'd look into it immediately by contacting that office and making the manager aware of what's going on, then i was told that i receive a call back shortly and that did not happen. so I called back today, again somehow I reached corporate again. This is after calling the office directly and there was a message that they were busy or closed, on the website it stated they were open. Overall, i am paying for this service through job insurance and out of pocket and i have yet to receive my antibiotic that could have prevented this infection i may have.

Desired outcome: need my medication asap. and bill reduction for this incident

Western Dental Services - Appointments wait time

I am really dissatisfied with the respect for peoples time when it comes to appointments. Everytime I make an appointment for my children and I arrive early and we always seem to wait almost an hour before they get started. It is rediculous!. Same thing at the South area location and now the Northgate location. Why make appointments if you are going to make people wait an after their appointment. I work and make my appointments before by shift or around lunch. It just doesn't make sense that this is the norm for this business.

Western Dental Services - Poor service and shotty billing practices

I'm in the midst of a billing nightmare all brought about by a payment that was 10.00 short. This lack of payment and lack of a notice to inform us, ultimately landed the account in collections. This 10 dollars has grown to roughly 450.00. Every payment that was sent after being sent to collections was hit with a 25.00 late payment penalty, though paid on time, which is being subtracted from every payment. What a scam, To add insult to injury, the collection agency that they transferred the account to has a practice of not answering the phone. So any thought of finding out about your and the required steps to bring the account current is not an option. When you finally talk with the folks in WD'S billing department, they could care less. All they talk about is what's required to bring the account current. If you can't pay the balance in full, forget any thought of having your braces adjusted, it's a dream, not happening. This is a company with great commercials, but poor execution. Customer service and customer satisfaction are only a words, they have no interest in either. There motto, Pay Me the Money. I'm sure, when they read these com[plaints, they blame the customers, and take no responsibility, it's our fault. Poor company, great commercial, poor product. I guess you get what you pay for garbage in garbage out. Western Dental, how do you sleep, you should be embarrassed by this. Shame on you

I live in Vallejo California and have also been to Western dental worst decision I've ever made when it comes to the billing department they lie to me about what my insurance covered they lied to me about what I was responsible for and then they sent the account 2 collections The building department is the worst department full of uncaring heartless individuals That do not understand your job to do not understand customer service do yourself a favor and just stay away This is coming from a single father of 2 autistic children scraping by in the Bay area of California
