I ordered a large cheese pizza with light sauce through Grubhub. The pizza was delivered but the pizza was made with “white” sauce. I do not eat white sauce. I contacted Grubhub and was advised this was a Round Table issue and to contact them. It was late night so I contacted RT opening day next day and asked for a manager. I am sick with covid fever 101 and for whatever reason had a taste for pizza to make me feel better. Unable to drive I ordered to be delivered. The female told me she was a manager and I can bring back the wrongly made pizza and they would remake it correctly. I kindly told her I was very ill in bed with fever and covid and can not physically drive. She proceeded to say to me in a very condescending manner…. Ms everyone has covid, just put on a mask and gloves and bring it back. My body cringed and I was stunned. Who hires these people to be in any customer service setting. Let alone management. This was Castro Valley CA store and I literally had to simply hang up the phone. Over $30 wasted and no accountability for their mistake and you add insult
Im bed stricken bad bout on an Anti viral meds to help me fight this and that’s the comment she freely chooses to use. Im still in disbelief that this is what we’ve come to. She could have easily asked me to sit on porch and have delivery guy pick up. Or did the right thing and just remade the pizza correctly and delivered. Im a repeat customer for over 5 years literally monthly. Pretty gut punching to literally go 3 days without being able to swallow a meal and the 1st thing I crave was RT pizza 🍕 and to get this inhumane comment and still no pizza that I can eat. Just wow
Desired outcome: Want my money refunded. No longer want to do business with this company. I love round table but if this is the customer service then I’ll go without. Just want my refund. Large cheese with bacon
