I placed an online order on June 11, 2022 for pick-up between 3-3:30 at the Arvada, CO King Soopers on Wadsworth and 80th.
I went to pick up my order and opened my email so I could tell them I was here and saw another email sent at 1:30 that my order was cancelled. I don't check my email on a regular basis and didn't receive a text update, or a phone call and drove all the way there to find my order had been cancelled.
I called to store and was transferred to the pick-up order department and the gal on the phone was totally useless and told me that it happens and there is nothing they can do about it. I would have to redo my order and re-schedule a pick-up for tomorrow. I asked to speak to a manager and she transferred me and I was conveniently disconnected.
I called the store and asked to speak with the manager who more of less told me there was nothing she could do. As a business owner/manager, I would have at least made some sort of accommodation or had the order delivered when it was ready later that evening. Customer service at this location has gone so downhill. I will be shopping with Amazon Fresh. You just lost a customer.
Desired outcome: I asked to have my order delivered when it was ready since I drove down there to find out it was cancelled.
