My name is Grady. I used to shop at the King Soopers in Conifer, Colorado. The people there used to be so great, then one day, back on May 8th 2022, something changed. The employees were so rude to me for no reason, and it has continually happened since then. I go into that store, get my groceries, and I politely ask an employee for help at the self-checkout, and they ignore me completely. I usually end up putting my groceries back on the shelf. I also used to work at the same location, but that does not give the current workers any right to be rude to a former employee. It makes me feel awful, and nobody should have to feel that way, ever. The gas station that is part of that store also has a very rude employee named Brendan. I used to get gas there all the time, until I asked Brendan once what was wrong, and he proceeded to tell me, while yelling. He never has an upbeat tone and when he yelled, I decided I would never get gas there again. I work in the customer service industry at a restaurant now, and I know that being rude to customers is bad for morale, and it never helps anyone, ever.
Desired outcome: I would love an apology, and would appreciate the employees being nice to me again. There is never an excuse for being rude to customers, regardless of whether those customers are former employees or not.
