Employment struggles
In the modern world, where corporations actively search out complaints online just to enact damage control, i've still yet to realize the root of the problem. Honestly: I just felt lied to. I feel this company is dishonest to what it offers, purposely tells people to lie about how long they've been there, and then uses both of those as incentive for the employee to work harder for a reward that doesn't exist. If you think I believe my grocery manager gets paid 19 hourly in 2018 after being there for a supposed 6 years, you're high off your butt, and am personally offended these people lie about such things in the first place. Just offer what you can offer: you offer a retail job with o. K. Insurance (not great), and up to 14 hourly, that's not bad. But now you have incentives to keep the minimal amount of employees so you can get a bonus for not hiring people. And that's: some crap. I know a lot of nice people to. My store manager is nice he's in the denver area i'm not telling who, but he's nice. He treats people as equals and helps out everywhere: but there's a systematic [censor]-show comes from the union which was never supposed to be there in the first place: and now you have these cancerous employees leeching the company, lying about their pay, lying about their experience, generally not doing a good job, and threatening the management for hiring people that are desperately needed. And then on top of that they go on strike and expect me to cover their butt when they know you can't hire anyone else or you'll get blasted. And that, is what's reaalllly going on here folks. Socialism sucks major ballsack. The only difference is they've tried to do everything they can to keep me around because i'm extremely tolerant, and only half of this is really their fault. But they're still at fault because i'm at fault so there you have it.
Food/clicklist
I am very unsatisfied with my recent click list orders. My order on March 5th I specified I wanted green bananas and I received brown/bruised ones. My order on March 12th I received brown/orange romaine hearts and moldy sweet potatoes. Pictures are attached. I also filled out the survey following my recent order and have yet to get a response. I am very disappointed with my last few orders.

Employee harassing security guard
I want to file a complaint against a employee at the King Soopers on Taft Hill in Fort Collins, Co. Her name is Tammy I believe she is a manager for the night shift. She is for some weird reason is taking photos of my son who is a Security guard for Securitas and works the night shift there at King Soopers. She has also harassed him about where he needs to stand and tries to force him to stand by the Floral Dept. when he has told her numerous times that he has asthma and the flowers are a trigger and if he stands there he will need an ambulance called because it will trigger a sever asthma attack or possible death but she continues to ignore this and harasses him and now she has a cleaning lady there taking photos of him as well and this lady is also harassing him! I would like this to stop, my son had informed his boss of the situation as well. If Securitas decides to continue providing service to this store I want this Tammy lady to stop! I don't want to involve the police in this matter but I will get a restraining order if she continues photographing and harassing my son!
Nothing got resolved
Management
The treatment of some of the employees at this location is a joke! I took my son dinner in the parking lot and he got his [censor] ripped and was almost denied his break. After being outside when it's 30 degrees pushing carts for three hours this is not exceptable and you may want to re train management before I go to the department of labor. The security guard that clearly is bored needs to ask questions before turning in 16 year old kids
Sounds like your kid is slow if it takes him 3 hours to get carts out of a parking lot. Tell him to stay off the weed
Lazy employees
While we were checking out at king Soopers there were at least 4 employees standing around talking/dancing and not assisting us when then machine said we needed assistance. It's bad enough that they were being so unprofessional to begin with, but one of the young girls there actually rolled her eyes when we asked for help. Unfortunately I did not get any of their names but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out who was working tonight February 4, at 10:00 pm.
Refund
Hello, isn't is crazy how you can be in a good mood until talking with someone. I spend thousands of dollars at King Soopers stores. I had made manwich with the hamburger, manwich mix, and buns that I had purchased at King Soopers. The hamburger smelled off when I opened it but I made the manwich anyway. when I went to to eat it, it was awful tasting like bad hamburger meat. I threw it away. I had my receipt for a couple of hundred dollars and took it to the King Soopers at County Line and Holly the day after Christmas. I was waited on by an older man with white hair at customer service. I had seen him before at the store walking so I think he is probably a head clerk or assistant manager. What a [censor]! I asked for refund for the stupid hamburger meat making a joke that I should get a refund for the manwich and buns too. He loudly told me that he needs the product. "What," I asked. He then loudly explained to me that in order to get a refund he needs the bad meat so that he can take the bad meat back to the meat department to tell them how they are selling bad meat. I said, "You don't want me to bring bad meat back." He loudly said again, yes he does. I felt as if he was yelling at me. My alternate shopper ID number is [protected]. I have since threw my receipts away and went on with my life, but it still bothers me that that employee was such a [censored] bag!
Golden, co pharmacy
I received my medication from the pharmacy took it home and when I opened it up to take my medicine I realized there were two different medications in the bottle. The one that didn't belong I looked up on the internet to find out it was Percocet. The percocet was mixed in with my gabapentin. I went to the store got the store manager and the pharmacy manager to talk about this. When I told the pharmacist anout it he called me a liar and told me they refused to take the Percocet back. Finally they took the Percocet and gave me the medication I was missing.
I used the pharmacy at the Golden store for many years. I found the customer service there most excellent. Brian and his staff have always gone above and beyond to help me any time I had a problem. In my experience this pharmacy has been efficient and exceptional.
Pharmacy complaint
I've never had a problem with pharmacy service at the Bennett Colorado store, and have discounted the many complaints I have heard, until now. I ordered a specific kind of inhaler on my drug list, picked up and signed for it never thinking that I should open the bag and check it. When I got home, I discovered it was the wrong medication. I spoke to Debbie, the Pharmacy Manager who filled the prescription. She said something about not being able to give refunds on prescriptions that left the store, and when I said that it was her mistake, she argued that "I signed for it." It was only when I pitched a fit about getting a refund (since I had paid twice) did she acquiesce and give another employee permission to give me my money back for the wrong prescription at a time when she would not be in. Fortunately, I will not experience this problem again as I have switched to Mail Order through my insurance. I just thought you should know, since others seem to be experiencing poor service as well (I don't know if they have complained). King Soopers is the only grocery/pharmacy available in our area, except for a smaller mom/pop in Byers. It would behoove the management to provide consistent, good service. Thank you for listening.
Customer service
I was in store tonight and a cashier literally stopped in the middle of her transaction to come over to my wine and advise my cashier to only take one coupon from me this store is always giving me issues on using my coupons with my correct limit I always try and use my limit but I felt very disrespected when cashier came from all the way across the store which means she's been eyeing me since I got in just because I had coupons also she went and got another manager to come talk to me and try and tell me in Spanish I do not speak only Spanish I speak fluent English which made me feel very discriminated against after angrily telling the manager that I do not speak
After angrily telling the manager that I speak English there was no need for her to follow me around so she I told her I was going to call corporate and another manager which is the main manager that night said go ahead let her call corporate I heard him telling her
Not being able to get in store coupons
I don't have a 800 dollar phone I only have Internet at home on iPad they don't offer WiFi so I can't use my iPad in the store to get the savings I am on a fixed income saving is what helps me so can you fix this problem I am sure that I am not the only person that has this issue. I do all my shopping here cause I can't get around to good for me to chase other options is not an option so please help me

Sexual comment by customer on handicapped king soopers employee
I am a friend of Ms. Lori Vogel who has worked at the KS [5050 South Federal Blvd ] in Englewood, Colorado for 23 years as a clerk. Lori has a learning disability but is still an excellent employee. On Tuesday morning before she went to work she told me that the day before, a gentleman frequent customer of her store came up and made a sexually explicit comment to her. Paraphrasing what she told me, "Would you like to have oral sex?"
Lori told me she reported it to the head clerk who obviously ignored the situation.
I then called the store on Tuesday afternoon and spoke with "Pam" the store manager and relayed to her what Lori had told me. She said she would talk to Lori about it.
This morning I again spoke with Lori and Pam DID NOT SPEAK TO LORI OR AUTHORITIES ABOUT THE INCIDENT.
I want to make this report so that in case this pathetic attitude of management continues, and Lori has problems again with this gentleman, there is a record.
I am sending a copy of this letter to the Arapahoe County District Attorneys office for their review.
Sincerely,
/Peter Coulter
Service at pharmacy at leetsdale and cherry store
I was treated extremely rudely by a pharmacy tech by the name of Brittney. I dropped off the prescription around noon, came back at 1, after she said it would be ready in 25 minutes, and stood in a long line. When I got to the counter she said it would be ready in a few minutes. When 15 minutes went by, I asked if she could check on it for me. She dismissed my request by saying "They're aware you're waiting." Finally, a note on my cell phone said it was ready. There was a long line again, and I approached her and said I got a call saying it was ready. She said good, then get in line. When I tried to explain that I had waited in line twice, and that waiting customers are usually called to the pick up counter to pick up and by, she yelled--and I mean yelled--for me to go to the back of the line. I was stunned at her attitude and the tone of her voice. Seeing that, she yelled again for me to go to the back of the line. There were at least 15 other people in close proximity. There is never an excuse to use this tone of voice with a customer. As a labor arbitrator I have heard many cases of King's employees discipline for rudeness to customer. This was far and away the worst behavior I've ever encountered. This woman should be fire, or at least kept away from paying customers.
Semi driver
We are driving in Denver Colorado, we had a semi aggressively driving almost hitting cars not letting them in to his lane while blinkers are on for at least 2-3min continuously. We where on the side of him on 2-70 coming to the Vesques exit. We had to honk so he wouldn't hit the car trying to get over cause the lane was ending. Then the driver continues to ride the Audis tale. This is so unsafe especially because if his /her load is heavy. I work for a company as a dispatcher and I know what they shouldn't do even in a normal car. Hopefully this gets addressed. The truck number is ( 0217036 )
Customer service / buying a bus pass
My employer provides us with commuter checks to help us buy bus passes, and at the Littleton and broadway location they seem to refuse taking them always telling me that they stop taking them, and every time I go to a different location and they seem to have no problem accepting them, I am curious in weather or not you accept the commuter check because it seems everywhere else does except for this location, it also says on the rtd website that king soopers does accept them, so I am very confused and frustrated. Please let me know your policy on commuter checks.
de cecco and pastifico g. di. marlino pasta
King Soopers at Uinta Gardens, Colorado Springs, has carried the above two brands for quite some time now. Both are quality brands. All of a sudden the Pastifico has disappear and De Cecco has been downsized in offerings. Instead, they off their private label and Barilla.
Why does King Soopers do this? They do it all the time and how do we get it back onto the shelves. I called the store, no one responded.
Shelves not stocked / bad customer service
Every time I go into this store the shelves are never stocked with the sales items. It feels as if the store is trying to move less than desirable items before restocking. I’ve complained several times and it never matters. This store was close to closing once and it seems like the same poor management will close this one. I would rather go out of my way to go to a store that will have all of the items I need rather than deal with crappy items. The customer service at this location is so poor. I had a lady completely ignore me and took the person behind me. I am sick of bring treated like crap. Good luck cottonwood king Soopers . RIP. I suggest people look elsewhere for their groceries. The Safeway is awesome
Unethical behavior
Hi this is James Freeman and I am writing this to inform you of unacceptable behavior at the Ken Caryl & Simms location in Littleton Colorado on October 15, 2017 at 5:15 pm. It started with all self-checkouts being in use except for one the attendant, Kevin, was sitting on. I approached him and asked if the machine was open. He replied "Does it look open!?" very sarcastically and he didn't move. So I asked him to move. He then walked off and approached the guest next to me and says "Can you believe this guy?" I then asked him what his name was and he refused to tell me so I asked a different employee. As someone who spends $1, 000+ a month, and exclusively shops at King Soopers, I find this behavior from an attendant unacceptable. I have been in the customer service industry for 15+ years and never would this be acceptable in any situation.
I had a couple of problems with the King Soopers store in Highlands Ranch, CO, 9551 S. University Blvd. I had ordered an item from their online website which was listed as available and was given a time to pick it up, 3:00 to 4:00pm on January 6, 2021. This was an important item and I trusted the website was giving me reliable information. I was given an online purchase form, gave them my credit card information and received verification and an order #, I also received an order verification email and told I would receive an email pick-up reminder on the day scheduled. I did receive the email reminder on Jan. 6th, and I headed out to pick-up my product. I was going to travel 16 miles from my home for this product, and while I was on the road I received a cell phone message at 3:15pm that the store had been unable to fill my order. Imagine my surprise and when I heard this message. So, I decided to check it out in person, arrived at the store pharmacy, attempting to find out more about the situation. I was discounted by the pharmacy personnel who talked over me--almost started fighting with me-- when I was trying to relate my experience, and told me abruptly to go to customer service. The customer service employee related to me on a humane level, listening to my story and frustration, offered understanding and empathy and told me that others had experienced trouble with website. I told her I would call the manager later and express my concerns. So, the two major problems were the lack of honesty on the website and the pharmacy's disregard for me as a human being with feelings and needs, as well as a store customer. My feeling of frustration was not validated and my needs for honesty, connection, respect and empathy were not met. I've been a King Soopers customer for 50 years, and my husband worked for Kroger for over 25 years. My experience has been good with Kroger, so I'm dismayed by my recent interactions with the website and pharmacy. My request would be to take care of your website immediately. If the company has regard for its customers, act quickly, so that no one else has the same experience. I'll also add that here in the Denver metro area, several King Soopers locations are lacking enough employees to meet the needs of the shoppers. Long lines tend to create tension and impatience instead of tolerance and a comfortable shopping experience...Because of the lack of sufficient amount of checkers and other helpers, the atmosphere and ambience in the stores is suffering. I do not find shopping at King Soopers enjoyable at the present time. I would feel grateful for a response, and do know that I'm in support of changes that can be made to restore Kroger and King Soopers to its previous strength and character in our community. Nancy McGuire, Denver
Drug counter
I was shopping with my friend and needed some Zippo lighter fluid. So we went over to the drug counter and ask for some lighter fluid but the employee wouldn't sell it to me because my friend wasted 18 really! I was using my money to buy to buy something that I'm old enough to buy but sense my friend was standing by me I couldn't buy it! THAT'S REDICULOUS I SEE PEOPLE BUYING CIGARETTES WITH THERE KIDS STANDING BY THEM BUT I CAN'T BY LIGHTER FLUID! The reason why was upset enough to write this is because my friend has bipolar depression and this triggered her to get really depressed. P.S. neither of us smoke I just collect and use Zippo lighters. I would understand if I was buying cancer sticks.

Deli lunch service
I will no longer be wasting my time at your deli. I use to regularly eat the 2 piece chicken lunch 3 times a week. But now that you have completed your improvements your service has become absolute [censor]. There is never any baked chicken or green beans. Why even advertise for something you can't provide. All I want is the product you use to offer but seem not longer able to provide. I am forced to now eat at jimmy johns or other places. Very frustrated and maybe no longer a customer.
Unethical behavior
My friend and I walked to King Soopers here at Castle Pines, Colorado from our apartment complex. I initially went inside to buy trash bags, but decided to buy beer as well. My friend stepped outside to wait for me. I went to purchase my products and the young man said he refused to sell me the beer without my friend's ID card. I protested that my friend was of legal age and that he forgot his ID at home. (I had my ID and was the valid costumer by the way.) The employee still refused to sell the product to me. I asked the employee to inform me of what I needed in order for him to sell me the beer. He instructed that I get my friend's ID. My friend and I walked all the way back to my apartment to get said ID. When we returned we were greeted with the young man and his manager. They told us that because they refused us tonight they would not be able to serve us. They then informed us we would have to come back the next day. This is ridiculous. We went out of our way to appease the employees and follow the rules and we were still were denied service and our time was wasted as well. I will have you know I walked next door to the liquor store next store and was able to buy the beer alone AND at a cheaper price. Thanks for wasting my time and getting me a better deal!
Thanks for wasting my ttime
