ShopRite Above and beyond

I had a home delivery scheduled right after 12 inches of snow had fallen in the last few hours. The young ShopRite delivery girl shoveled a 3 x 4? path around my front door so that she could place the groceries on the ground rather than in the snow There's no one had come to shovel us out yet. I thought this was outstanding service way above and beyond what she had to do. I'm going to contact ShopRite directly so I can give her name to someone that needs to know how wonderfully she does her job.

ShopRite a thought

I am a senior citizen in Parsippany NJ. I've been going to Shoprite my whole life. I worked in a ShopRite in Parsippany when I was 16.You have the best prices hands down. Here's my thought. When you have sales its always you must buy 3,4,10 whatever, for $6,8 $10 whatever. I don't always have 8 or 10 dollars a week extra to take advantage of the the sale, no less be able to consume the " 4 boxes of Ritz", before they expire, so I usually can't take advantage of the good sales.

Why don't you have a special card for senior citizens to scan that would allow us to be able to take advantage of the sale price without a Must Buy quantity? It would help us and I'm sure it would be a reason to come to shoprite as a senior citzen if you don't already.

Recommendation: Lets hope this happens

ShopRite Unpleasant Experience at Norwalk ShopRite: Expired Products and Rude Staff

My recent experience at the Norwalk ShopRite store was extremely unpleasant and left me feeling quite disappointed and frustrated. It was on September 17, 2016, when I went to the store for my regular grocery shopping. On that day, I had a total bill of $178.51, which included a variety of different products.

As a cautious shopper, I always make it a point to check the expiration dates on all the merchandise that I purchase. Towards the end of my shopping trip, I decided to get "Bryces Yams" which my children absolutely love. I assigned my daughter to go and grab them from their designated aisle. However, she came back empty-handed and informed me that all the yams were expired.

Naturally, I went to the aisle myself to check it out. To my dismay, my daughter was right, every single can of yams expired on January 1, 2013. It was simply gross and disgusting. I immediately raised the issue with the cashier and asked him to call for a supervisor. The supervisor came over after a while, but to my utter shock, she was quite rude and unresponsive to the situation.

She checked the yams herself and confirmed that they were all expired but did not apologize for the lapse. The worst part was that she did not even acknowledge my waiting and callously walked off without saying anything. Needless to say, I was left feeling unheard and very disappointed in the way that the situation was handled.

In conclusion, ShopRite is a popular place for grocery shopping, but this experience certainly left me with a bad taste in my mouth. It's necessary for the store's management to take some serious steps to avoid such avoidable lapses, and improve customer satisfaction levels.

ShopRite ShopRite Online Shopping Glitches - Disappointing Customer Service During the Pandemic

As a frequent shopper at ShopRite, I've noticed that their online shopping options, particularly pickup and delivery services, have been riddled with glitches lately. Despite their claims of priding themselves of excellent customer service, I've had several unpleasant experiences where they had no proper system in place to handle errors on their end. Just recently, I tried booking a slot and after hours of trying, the website crashed and my reservation was lost. Despite having a cart and log to show that my booking was real, they refused to rectify their mistake. I agree that the current situation with the pandemic is unprecedented, but it's unacceptable for a company with such a reputation and scale to not have a system that can handle errors adequately, crisis or not.

In a recent attempt to improve their website, ShopRite has implemented a queuing system that customers have to wait in just to access their website. However, it seems that many people are waiting for hours only to find that there are no slots available for pickup or delivery. It's frustrating to think that the company is more concerned about showcasing the latest circulars than addressing the much-needed support for the online delivery options they advertise. I will advise others to keep in mind that ShopRite has not prioritized their customers during this difficult period, and to choose other stores or services if possible.

ShopRite Negative Experience with ShopRite: Overpriced Cheese and Rude Customer Service in Phila, PA Store

I recently had an experience shopping at ShopRite's store located on 11000 Roosevelt Blvd in Phila, Pa, and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. Although I live in Bucks County, I had to go to the Phila store because I had a few coupons that were only valid there. One of the coupons was for the Dietz&Watson American cheese, which was priced at $1.99 a pound. I decided to use it only to find out that when I got to my mother's place and had the cheese weighed, I was charged $6.39 a pound and only received $0.98 off with the coupon.

Feeling frustrated, I returned to the store and explained the situation to the first staff member I saw, who asked me why I needed the cheese. How could she know my intentions? I then informed her to call the deli section where the cheese was located, and they confirmed that it was $6.39 a pound. The staff member was ready to give me the refund without any sign of apology or empathy. However, she went to get another older woman instead, who explained to me that while the Bensalem store honors their coupons, they do not follow the same rule.

I found the difference of $2.39 in price for the same cheese brand at two different ShopRite stores quite ridiculous. Furthermore, I had shopped at this store not only for myself but also for six other clients, and their rude customer service had not gone unnoticed. Sadly, I will not be revisiting this store again and hope that losing seven customers was worth their unreasonable prices and poor service.

ShopRite Disappointing Experience with ShopRite's Online Grocery Service

I was left feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed by my experience at ShopRite. As a first-time user of their online service, I was hoping for a quick and easy solution to my grocery needs, as my family is currently dealing with a Covid-related illness and we need to stay at home. Unfortunately, there were no available time slots for Friday, which meant I had to choose Saturday as my pick-up day.

However, when I arrived at the store to collect my order, I was informed that it was not there. After some investigating, it became clear that there had been an error and my pick-up date was actually scheduled for Sunday. Given our current situation, I explained my urgent need for groceries and was informed that the earliest I could pick up my order would be at 5.30 pm. Feeling relieved that I would at least be able to collect my groceries that day, I agreed to the new pick-up time and was told that the store would change it in their system without any issues.

Sadly, this was not the case - I received a phone call just 30 minutes later, informing me that I would have to redo my entire order as they couldn't fix the problem as promised. This was extremely frustrating, as I was losing valuable time slots due to a mistake that wasn't my own. To make matters worse, the representative informed me that the online app was experiencing technical difficulties, which added to the delay.

All in all, my experience with ShopRite left me feeling incredibly let down. I felt that the online service had proven to be a time-consuming and unreliable option, particularly under the current circumstances. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I was disappointed that ShopRite was not able to rectify the situation in a prompt and efficient manner. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this service to others and will not be using it again myself.

ShopRite Disappointed with ShopRite's Pricing Practices and Customer Service

I recently had the opportunity to shop online at ShopRite and I must say, I was left feeling very disappointed by my experience. I placed an order on a Saturday for the prices listed on the website at that time, with the intention of having it delivered to the Chester NY store. Unfortunately, on Sunday when my delivery arrived, I found that several items were missing - ones that I expected would have cost around $12 - $13.

To my surprise, I noticed that the receipt included in the bag was actually $4 less than the amount that I had been billed on Saturday. This discrepancy left me wondering why some items were missing, yet I still had a charge that was more than what I had ultimately received.

When I contacted customer service for an explanation, I was informed that the missing items were actually out of stock. However, when I asked about the $4 difference in billing, I was told that prices can change from the time you order, to the time your order gets scanned. Frankly, I found this to be an unacceptable response. It seems unreasonable to me that a customer would be charged a different amount than what was quoted to them at the time of purchase simply because the order was scanned on a different day.

I have shopped at a number of online retailers in the past and have never experienced anything like this. As a result, I have made the decision to never shop at ShopRite again. I feel that the company has demonstrated a lack of transparency and respect towards their customers, and I simply cannot continue to patronize a business when I am unable to trust their pricing practices.

ShopRite Deceptive Packaging: ShopRite's Fresh Chicken Breast sold under Flemington Bow and Basket Label

I recently had a disappointing experience with ShopRite's fresh chicken breast sold under the Flemington Bow and Basket label. Although the advertised price of $1.99 per pound seemed like a fair deal, I found the packaging to be deceptive upon opening it. Despite the chicken breast appearing to be trimmed well, I discovered globs of fat that required trimming after turning it over. To my surprise, the weight of the fat that needed to be trimmed was a little over 1/3 of the package weight.

Thinking that the first pack might have been an instance, I decided to give it another try two weeks later with another purchase of the same product, this time at $2.49 per pound. Unfortunately, the same issue persisted, with the chicken being trimmed only where visible in the package. Having to throw away over a third of the weight purchased was no bargain and left me feeling cheated. From now on, I won't be buying fresh chicken from ShopRite again and will opt to pay more for a company where I am paying for the weight of chicken, not fat.

I find what ShopRite is doing to be deceptive, and it should be looked into by the authorities. I can overlook a little bit of untrimmed fat as a small oversight, but this was clearly a ploy to make customers think they are paying less than they actually are. It's disheartening to see this type of behavior from a company that many of us trust and depend on for our daily household needs. They should be ashamed of themselves for resorting to these tactics.

ShopRite Frustrating Experience with ShopRite's Shop At Home Service: Unreliable, Blame-Shifting, and Inept

I have to say, my experience with ShopRite has been quite frustrating. I have used their Shop At Home service a few times now and each time it has been difficult to navigate and has failed on multiple occasions. I've found that orders are dropped routinely, the credit card purchase process is unreliable, and there have been instances where the actual order was not completed even though the site indicated it was.

What's worse is that when I reached out for assistance, the store took no responsibility for the problem. The representative I spoke to seemed to imply that most customers do not have issues with their service, but I think the online ratings tell a different story. They have many problems and often assign blame incorrectly.

I've shopped at the ShopRite location in Lawnside for many years, and it's been an adequate store with generally positive staff members. However, the Shop At Home service is absolutely terrible. They tend to blame everything on covid issues, which seems like an excuse rather than an explanation. If they can't get an online order right, it makes me wonder what else may be wrong.

Even though they gave me a $10 discount on my last order due to its mishandling, waiting for days for an order, only to find out it had been dropped with no record of it, was extremely frustrating. The allowance felt like a slap in the face. The service provided by the Lawnside Store and overall on the website is disappointing, and the online staff while courteous, seems inept. If there are other options available, I would highly recommend exploring them first before giving ShopRite a chance.

ShopRite Disappointing Experience with ShopRite: Unprofessional Staff and Missing Items

My recent experiences with ShopRite have left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. As a busy person with a hectic schedule, I rely on grocery pick-up services to make my life easier. However, after two failed orders with the ShopRite location in Riverhead, NY, I can confidently say that I will never use their services again.

During my first pick-up experience, the ShopRite employee who loaded my groceries seemed to be in a bad mood and was complaining about not getting enough sleep. Not only was this unprofessional, but I also noticed that $30 worth of groceries were missing from my order when I reviewed my receipt. When I asked about why certain products weren't substituted as requested, I was met with resistance and unhelpfulness. I had no choice but to go into the store and complete the rest of my shopping myself. Despite expressing my grievances to the manager, George, he was too busy to address my concerns.

In an attempt to avoid similar issues with my second order, I made sure to list acceptable substitutions in the notes section for each item. Even for an item as simple as tomato sauce – which the store carries multiple brands of – I requested that any substitute would do. Unfortunately, items were still missing from my order when I arrived to pick it up.

By the time my third order came around, I decided to speak with George directly over the phone to ensure that my order was correct. However, I was met with rudeness, insults, and a dismissive attitude. When I requested the contact information for the DM or owner of the store, George refused to provide it and hung up on me not once, but twice.

As someone who values good customer service and professionalism, I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by my experiences with ShopRite. Despite their convenient online ordering and pick-up service, the unprofessionalism and rudeness I experienced with their staff and management have left a bad taste in my mouth. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

ShopRite Disappointing Customer Service and Late Delivery from ShopRite: A Cautionary Review

I recently had an experience with ShopRite (shoprite.com) that left me feeling quite frustrated. I had reserved a delivery time slot and was promised a two-hour time frame for the delivery of my groceries. However, my groceries arrived over an hour past the promised time slot, with no communication from the delivery person about the delay. I made two separate calls to find out what was going on and was simply told that the delivery person had a lot of deliveries to make and that she was on her way.

To make matters worse, when the delivery person did finally arrive, she had the music in the ShopRite van blaring at maximum volume and left the van's doors open, causing extreme noise pollution in my neighborhood. Although I understand that everyone has the right to listen to music, I found it incredibly disrespectful to pull up in my driveway and disturb the peace.

Upon unpacking my groceries, I also discovered that two items were missing from my order. When I called ShopRite to report this, I was told that a manager would get back to me the following day. Given the lateness of my delivery and the fact that my ice cream had melted into milkshakes, I found this response completely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, the following day came and went, and I still hadn't heard anything about a refund for the missing items that I had paid for. I found it frustrating that when I tried to address the issue, I was met with an unhelpful attitude.

While I understand that mistakes happen, I believe that basic customer service should involve apologizing for any mistakes, taking steps to rectify them promptly, and refunding money where necessary. It was disappointing to find that ShopRite did not seem to prioritize these aspects of customer service.

Overall, I would caution others against using this service, particularly if you're looking for efficiency and a fair price. There are many alternatives out there that are more reliable and committed to providing a positive customer experience.

ShopRite Beware of ShopRite Gift Cards - A Customer's Disappointing Experience

I recently bought a pack of gift cards from ShopRite in NJ, with the intention of giving them out in December of 2013. Unfortunately, I had a few left over cards, and decided to use them for myself in July of 2014. When I arrived at the theatre, the teller informed me that I could not simply give them my gift cards, as I had to use the kiosk machine which was out of order. With no other option, I purchased my tickets for that day, but the issue persisted on my next visit. The kiosk machine was no longer there, and I was left frustrated with a pack of unusable gift cards.

I decided to reach out to the company for help, and a friendly gentleman over the phone walked me through each step. I had $40 in gift cards, but the ticket purchase amounted to $38.50, with an additional $5 convenience fee. I was floored - what convenience?! Using my credit card, I paid the remaining $3.50, printed out my tickets, and tossed out the unused gift cards.

However, on October 25th, I received my credit card statement in the mail, indicating that I had somehow paid $43.50 for tickets from Fandango. This was clearly a mistake, and I was quick to contact the support team for clarification. The initial representative was apologetic, but I asked to speak with a manager. Sadly, their sole suggestion was for me to ask the store for replacement gift cards - which was not an option, since I'd already disposed of the original cards. To my utter disbelief, they still charged me the extra $40 and had no recourse for me.

In the end, I paid $83.50 for regular movie tickets, thanks to ShopRite's apparent inability to properly process their gift cards. It was frustrating and disappointing to be ripped off in this manner, and I regretted having ever purchased them in the first place. It's no surprise that I've apologized to all I sent them to and pledged to never purchase them again. It's a shame that ShopRite makes millions off of these misleading cards and doesn't take any real responsibility for their mishandling. In short, it would be best to avoid these gift cards at all costs, lest you find yourself going through the same unpleasant experience.

ShopRite Mixed Experience with ShopRite's Online Grocery Service: Inaccurate Billing and Substituted Items

As someone who has used ShopRite twice now, I must say that my experiences have been mixed. The first time I used their service, it was okay - nothing to write home about, but no major issues either. However, my second experience was absolutely dreadful. I had ordered groceries worth $140 but when I went to pick them up, I was told my bill was only $114. When I inquired about this discrepancy, the girl who was assisting me simply said that the initial amount was an estimate. This left me feeling confused and uneasy about the accuracy of their billing system.

Apart from this, I also had other issues with my order. For instance, I had specifically requested for hard salami but was given Boars Head low sodium ham instead. And to make matters worse, they had substituted the apple pie I had requested with a pumpkin pie without informing me beforehand. These were just a couple of examples of the mistakes they made. What bothers me the most is that it seems like the people processing these orders don't really care about getting them right. They just throw whatever they have into the bags without paying attention to the customer's specific requests.

While I may not be the most difficult customer to please, I do feel like this level of service is unacceptable. It is frustrating and disappointing to receive an order that is so wildly different from what I had requested. It makes me question whether or not ShopRite takes their customers seriously, or if they are just trying to rush through as many orders as possible without giving each one the attention it deserves.

To add insult to injury, I also found a moldy lemon in one of my bags. This was the icing on the cake, so to speak, and only made me more wary of using ShopRite's delivery service again in the future. While I appreciate the convenience of being able to order groceries online, I firmly believe that accuracy and attention to detail should be a top priority for any business that wants to keep its customers satisfied.

ShopRite Disappointing experience with ShopRite's online ordering system

As an avid online shopper, I was excited to try out ShopRite's online ordering system. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Firstly, I wasn't pleased with having to enter my cell phone number every time I attempted to place an order. It seemed like an unnecessary step that slowed the process down.

Secondly, I was quite disappointed to discover that my slot time would expire if the system failed to process my order. This meant that I had to renter my time slot and allocate more time to complete my order. Additionally, I found that it was quite frustrating to come across the "Internal Server Error" message. If the system failed to process my order, I had to log out and log back in again.

Another concern I had was that the online order system did not appear to accept Digital Coupons. This was somewhat inconvenient as it meant I couldn't take advantage of any of the great discounts available on the website.

I also noticed that the online system was extremely slow. It took about 50 seconds to one minute to process my order – and that's only when it worked. Sometimes, after hitting the payment button, the system would reply 10 seconds later with an Internal Server error, which was frustrating to say the least. This meant that I had to log out and log in again, going through the entire process again.

All in all, my experience with ShopRite's online order system was marred by numerous inefficiencies. I hope the company can improve on its system to make the online shopping experience more seamless.

ShopRite My Disappointing Experience with ShopRite's Online Grocery Delivery Service

When it comes to online grocery shopping, my personal experience with ShopRite has been quite disappointing. Four times I've ordered from them, and four times they've made mistakes that left me feeling dissatisfied. One of the main issues I've encountered is their poor punctuality, as there have been several occasions where my groceries have arrived later than expected. Unfortunately, this came with the added problem of having to chase up their customer service team who seemed unresponsive to my concerns. In one instance, I even spoke to a representative who was curt and unhelpful, making me feel like a nuisance instead of a valued customer.

To make matters worse, there were instances where I didn't receive all of the products that I had ordered which added frustration. ShopRite's solution to this was to try and deliver the missing items the next day which caused a huge inconvenience for me, leaving me feeling let down by their overall service. The worst part about the interactions with the company, however, was the way I was treated by their employees. The customer service representatives that I spoke to on the phone were downright rude and disrespectful, making me feel like I was in the wrong for expecting a high standard of service from them. Their behavior left me feeling embarrassed, angry and was quite frankly unacceptable.

Now, because of these issues, I've made the switch to Walmart for online grocery shopping, whose customer service I have found to be more efficient and friendly. Additionally, I have also had great success with Aldi's online shopping service. In conclusion, based on my experiences, I cannot recommend ShopRite's grocery delivery services, as they seem not to possess the skills and aptitude required for this line of work. I suggest that they invest more time and energy into improving their processes so that they can offer a better service to their customers. For now, I suggest that customers try shopping at other establishments that are more equipped with delivering excellent customer service.

ShopRite Unprofessional and Disrespectful Behavior at North Greenbush, NY ShopRite Store Leads to Lost Customer

Today I visited the North Greenbush, NY 12144 ShopRite store to purchase some items. While checking out, I attempted to use a coupon, but the cashier, Damon, informed me that it could not be applied until my next visit. I expressed my frustration with this policy, but was shocked when Damon responded by calling me ridiculous. His hostile attitude was completely unwarranted and disrespectful.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced rude and unprofessional behavior from cashiers at this ShopRite location. I have even submitted complaints about this issue in the past, but it seems that the company is not taking enough action to address it. It is disappointing to see such a prominent supermarket chain allow employees to treat customers with such disrespect.

As a result of this negative experience, I have decided to take my business elsewhere and will be shopping at Market 32 from now on. I have never encountered such unprofessional customer service at any other establishment, and I refuse to continue to support a company that tolerates such behavior. ShopRite should be taking steps to ensure that their employees are treating customers with respect and professionalism, and until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

ShopRite Convenient ShopRite from Home Delivery with Friendly Customer Service, but Advertised Sales Often Unavailable at Clark Location

ShopRite's website and delivery service, ShopRite from Home, has been a game changer for me. The convenience of ordering groceries online without leaving the comfort of my home is what makes ShopRite stand out for me. Additionally, I can't speak highly enough about their delivery personnel - every single person who has delivered my items has been friendly, courteous, and professional.

However, I have repeatedly observed that the Clark ShopRite is unable to keep up with their advertised sales. The last four orders I have placed have been missing items that were listed on sale, and I have been quite frustrated with this issue. While the ShopRite team does call me with a substitute option, the alternative is often three times the cost of the original sale item, which is not ideal.

Most recently, I placed an order for Life water bottles that were marked on sale, but the store had run out of stock. I was told it sold out more quickly than anticipated, but as a consumer who is always on the lookout for a good deal, I find this explanation unsatisfactory. If a product is put on sale, I expect that it is readily available for purchase and won't sell out before the promotion's end date.

I believe that ShopRite management at Clark location needs to take notice of this and strive to improve their inventory management system. It would be great to see them better anticipate customer demands and work to keep up with their advertised sales. Despite this minor issue, I still highly recommend ShopRite from Home for anyone looking to save on time and make their grocery shopping experience more convenient.

ShopRite Disappointing online shopping experience at ShopRite leads to frustration and poor customer service

The online shopping experience at Shoprite has been a frustrating saga for the past few months, with difficulties in placing orders. I have personally encountered instances where it takes multiple attempts to get an order through, with time and effort expended in the process. On one occasion, despite running in circles five times, I still encountered issues with my order placement. The final straw for me was when I received a phone call from an employee that was unprofessional and unpleasant in demeanor. The options presented to me were limited and unhelpful, leading me to a dead end in my purchasing journey.

As a loyal customer of Shop Rite's outstanding quality and dependable service, it is unfortunate to have such a negative experience with their online platform. Despite my best efforts, I cannot continue to struggle with the overly cumbersome system and the poor customer service provided. I hope for the betterment of the brand that they consider investing in making their website more efficient and customer-friendly. For now, I am saying goodbye to ShopRite's online shopping option and looking elsewhere for my needs.

ShopRite Disappointing Experience with ShopRite's Online Ordering Service and Customer Service

I recently had an experience with ShopRite's online ordering service that left me quite disappointed. When I arrived to pick up my order, the woman who brought it out to me instructed me to load the groceries myself and return the cart. While I didn't mind doing this, I was surprised when she proceeded to bring out other orders, load them into vehicles, and return the carts for those customers.

As I was loading my first order, I let the woman know that I had a second order scheduled for the same pickup time. However, she informed me that the order wasn't scheduled until an hour later – something that I knew couldn't be true. After some back and forth, she finally explained that the system was down and instructed me to take my first order and come back for the second.

Despite feeling quite frustrated by the situation, I quickly loaded my first order and returned for the second. However, when the woman brought it out, she didn't say a word and simply parked the cart before walking away.

Overall, my experience with ShopRite's online ordering service and customer service left a lot to be desired. While I understand that technical difficulties can happen, the attitude of the woman who helped me was disappointing. I hope that ShopRite can improve their customer service in the future so that others don't have to deal with the same frustrations that I did.

ShopRite Disappointing experience with Shoprite of Fairless Hills' shop from home program

Recently, while visiting from Florida, I decided to take advantage of the convenience of shopping from home at Shoprite of Fairless Hills. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to my expectations. As a lover of Pa Dutch Diet Birch Beer, which is unavailable in Florida, I had placed an order for 12 cases to take back home with me. I requested pickup between 6:30 and 7:00 PM, placing my order at 7:00 AM the same day.

However, by a little after 6 PM, I received a call from the store informing me that they were running behind schedule and that the order would not be ready at 6:30 PM. Only showing up at 7:35, to my dismay, the staff informed me that they did not have my requested purchase, but instead substituted it with Diet Mug Root Beer, which was not even a brand I had requested as a substitute. Even more puzzling, the store contacted me at 7:23 to tell me of this switch, making me question if they were even aware of their inventory at all.

Hoping for some clarity on their inventory system, I was disappointed to find out that the store apparently could not keep track of what items they had in stock after a twelve-hour time span. It left me wondering how such a large establishment could overlook such a basic aspect of their store model. Overall, my experience with Shoprite of Fairless Hills’ shop from home program may have left me with more questions than answers.

ShopRite Disappointing Experience with ShopRite's Home Delivery Service: Overcharged and Missing Items

I recently had an experience with ShopRite that left me feeling quite frustrated. I had made an order for $325 worth of groceries through their website, but to my dismay, only $85 worth of items were fulfilled upon arrival. On top of that, there was a $10 internet shopping fee added to my order, which seemed excessive given the poor service I received.

To make matters worse, I noticed that one of my organic milk cartons had been scanned twice, resulting in me receiving only one gallon instead of two. It was clear that the other items I had ordered were in stock at the location, but for some reason, my assigned shopper failed to fulfill my order properly. My frustration grew when my husband and I entered the store and found that most of the missing items on our list were readily available.

Considering the amount of time I had invested in filling up my cart on their slow website, I found the entire experience to be a huge waste of my time. To make matters even more frustrating, this wasn't the first time that I've had issues with ShopRite's pick-up services. In a prior order, I had paid for chicken but it was missing from my pick-up.

As a customer, I strongly feel that the shoppers putting together our orders should be held accountable for overcharging and missing items that they should have been able to find on the shelves. Overall, I would rate ShopRite's home delivery service as a zero out of five stars, and I would not recommend using their service.

ShopRite Unreliable and Disappointing: My Experience with ShopRite Delivery

I had a less-than-stellar experience with ShopRite recently. My delivery was three days late, which was extremely frustrating. I reached out to customer service to inquire about the issue, and was informed that my payment had never posted. To make matters worse, they had an extremely old phone number on file for me, and subsequently called the wrong number several times - despite the fact that I've been a loyal customer for five years. I was told that they couldn't change the phone number, which was incredibly frustrating.

To add insult to injury, the food that was delivered was in poor condition due to my recent surgery that caused me to be away from the food for an extended period. I was left with only condiments to eat, which was quite disappointing. To make matters worse, when I called to report the issue on two separate occasions, I was hung up on both times. This level of customer service was unacceptable and disappointing, both at the local store level and with the national chain.

I would caution anyone against using ShopRite for delivery, as my experience was an unpleasant one. I only continued to use them because they were my only option for payment, but I wish I had chosen an alternative. I rely on delivery services due to my inability to visit the store myself, and in this case, I was left feeling incredibly let down. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy delivery service, I'd recommend exploring your other options before turning to ShopRite.
