Our homeowners association was scheduled to have trash picked up on Thursday, December 29. Waste Management cancelled this pickup and has re-scheduled for Thursday, January 5, a week later. Of course, this was Christmas week, so the trash is much fuller than normal.
Only two homeowners in our area received phone messages that this scheduled pickup was being cancelled, even though many more of us — myself included — are on the alert list and have received alerts in the past.
I can understand a day(s) delay due to weather, but a full week seems excessive, especially during Christmas week. In fact, this is totally unacceptable.
Please let me know if it is possible to pick up our trash before the scheduled date.
