Stop & Shop - Stop and Shop 1/4 burgers

I had made a in store complaint about frozen burgers bought at a Maun St Stop and Shop in Southington, Ct. The burgers were unopened, I noticed there was not the amount that there should have been and were not quarter pound burgers as stated on the box. I was directed to call the 800 number on box for a refund or replacement and to make aware of the issue. Not one refund was offered or replacement and I have been in contact with a Beth via email. She stated she only takes the complaints and forwards them to the department. We are out the money and we through out the entire box not knowing why they were missing burgers and nit what was described on box. We will NOT be going to any Stop and Shop since they don't honor the money back garentee

Desired outcome: Still not resolved

Stop & Shop - Check out - payment

I was at the Stop and Shop on Main Street in Southington, CT. This was December 23, 2020. One of the biggest shopping days of the year apparently. After dodging other customers going down the wrong aisles even when you can clearly see the arrows and just plain loss of people's basic manners-I was exhausted. I make it to the check out and I'm really to get out of there. I had my shopping via the SCAN IT so all I had left to do was pay. I scanned my gun and the total was 198.00. I had cash (which Is always my form of payment everywhere I go). I made sure to check my wallet before I left home, in the car before I got out and then as I go to pay. I put $200 in the machine-by accident-the bills had stuck together. I learned this because It said I only paid $100 when my hands tell me I have no $100 left. I started to panic thinking I really didn't have the amount of money I had counted 3 + times prior. As I bring myself back to ground and try to calm myself thinking it should be an easy fix. I put the help button on. Within seconds an employee, Kelly came over. She understood and was super nice. She said she had never experienced this and went and got a "manager." This twit Jaime comes over. He has a negative attitude from the start not even acknowledging me as Kelly explains the situation. He opens the machine all huffy and then checks some slots where money is held. He jumps to say "Mam, there is only one hundred dollar bill." First of all I am a Miss (I am 30 years old) and he says this looking down on me as if I am lying. I felt completely offended and with his attitude I started to get upset because he was not listening and implying I am stealing and trying to pull one over on them. The $100 in the machine was not even mine because I had two older bills the one he pulled out was crispy and new. Kelly was so sweet trying to calm me and told me we will get this rectified. She was suggesting to the kid (that is what he was) on checking other places and doing different things before just giving up and he ignored her like he knew it all. I was at this point in tears because I was so angry for not being heard and I was so embarrassed that so many people are in line waiting and staring as they walk by wondering what is going on as if I'm so type of criminal. This goes on for about 20 more minutes of him doing who knows what with the machine. He wouldn't talk to me so Kelly tells me they will let me take the groceries home and give them my contact info. I don't carry my credit cards all the time and the cash was all I had. I had other bills but not enough amounting to $100 so I would have had to leave with nothing or put things away which would have been mortifying especially with the amount of people in the store that day and the lines backing up because of my situation going on. Another manager comes over and within 5 seconds of him being there - they found my money! It was stuck somewhere in the machine but it gave me such a moment of screw off to that jerk! I was being honest and treated like a criminal trying to buy my groceries. He must have been so embarrassed because he was sure I was full of [censored]. He had to take me to another machine to ring me out for the full total. As we finish he can't even look me in the eye and offer an apology of any sort then tells me to have a good day. It was so disingenuous I was baffled but at that point I did not care I wanted to get out of there. I made a point to stop and thank Kelly for all her support. I wanted to hug her because she is the reason I got through this mess. If she was not there backing me I probably would have walked out in frustration and embarrassment joy even worrying about my money or groceries. I am writing this complaint because I want to hold Jaime accountable for his horrible customer service on top of his lack for human decency. No social skills whatsoever. The real reason is I want to make sure Kelly gets recognized for going above and beyond and believing me for the moment this happened. She is a wholehearted sweet person (you could tell by her eyes!) and she should be recognized for her service. I really hope this makes it to management and they may need to reassess who is representing their store and the organization's' ethics of what their stand for.
