Refill of unsweetened tea had a gel like slim substance in several globs floating in tea. Waitress Jenn was horrified as I was. IT has been a disgusting experience which the manager blew off by saying she was sorry and drank the tea every night but did admit to a "residue" on the lid! She took the price of tea off but at that point my meal was coming up! She assured me it was clean out every night which cannot be so! Not sure when if EVER I will eat there again.

Alright, admittedly, the manager must have been an idiot for the way that she handled the situation, but the tea urn is cleaned nightly. What happens is when the sugar is added to the machine to make the sweet tea, sometimes it doesn't all dissolve into the water, but it gets hot enough to melt. When it melts, it turns into a stringy, gel like substance. It's called sublimation. Just because your manager handled the situation poorly doesn't mean that she was wrong. Here's my advice: if you think I'm lying, then just switch to regular tea and see if it ever happens again. You probably don't need the empty calories anyway.
