My wife and I went to Applebees in Altoona pa today at 11:40am today (Dec27th2024). They had several tvs on in the dining area with sports themed shows on. Two of the tvs, one right in front of me and one off to my left were showing a program about children from other countries with cleft pallets. While I feel bad for the children, I wouldn’t chose to spend my hard earned money at a restaurant watching graphic before and after pictures of children with cleft pallets and the gruesome video of the operation s being performed while I’m eating. I’m amazed that no one thought to change the channel!

Desired outcome: No outcome expected. Just thought this was rather crass for a reputable restaurant
