Applebee's I would like a refund of $36.96, the amount I paid for the food that was never delivered.

While traveling, we stopped to stay at a hotel and ordered food from Applebee's in Leland, NC on November 10, 2022 at 7:30 pm. The food was to be delivered at 8:30. At 8:45 pm my husband received an email that our order was changed for cancelled. I called Applebee's and spoke with the manager, Dion and asked for a refund after it was clear that the delivery person kept the food we had ordered. I was told that the money would be put back in our account and at this writing that has still not happened. I called Applebee's and spoke with a different manager, Scott on November 15, 2022, who said that this was being handled by Dion and that would forward my information and have him call me back that day. I have never heard back. I sent an email to Applebee's on November 21, 2022 and have never received a response. My husband received an email saying that we would be refunded, but our account was charged $36.96 on November 14, 2022. I have attached a screenshot of the email we received saying we would be refunded the amount, it never happened.

Desired outcome: If you can assist with this, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Applebee's Sexual and drug use in view of children and the public

on 10-31-22 while returning home from a trick or treat event with our kids we drove through the back parking lot of applebees in baton rouge La...in so doin our kids observed a femal employee clearly in a applebees uniform knelling on the passenger side of a SUV giving oral sex to a man standing in the passenger door...because of the kids we tryd to take pictures from a distance...but was out of clear focus due to the darkness...however the female then embraced the man hugging and playingbefore she laid across the the passenger seat and allowed him to have sex with her fron behind...we drove to the front of the resturant to file a complaint and was met by a young bright skin black woman who said she no longer work there and was only helping her PARTNER close the bar...but upon a descrition of the femal employee being complained about she identified her as (fantasia farmer)...and said that she has left the store with another employee annd would return shortly...we awiated her return to call police...she returned as said carrying a bottle of alcohol and was immediatiatly met at the door by two male employee`s who drank from the bottle on applebee`s front door entrance got into a grey car with texas plates driven by the femal employee

Applebee's Seating arrangements

We are a group of 5 couples who meet each Tuesday night for dinner in local restaurants. We visited your Applebee’s in Troy Ohio this Tuesday and asked to be seated in the back seating section with sets of two tables for four people. We asked to push four of the tables together to form a set of four tables together to allow the group of ten to be seated across from each other. The best arrangement for open discussion among the group.

To our surprise we were told it is not permitted to move the tables to accommodate the wishes of the guests. Twice we asked different servers and were told the manager stated that it is not possible to move the tables.

We were the only guests in the very back section of the restaurant and were confounded as to why it would not be possible to move the tables.

Probably will not be returning but thought someone outside of the Troy Ohio store should be informed.

Giving guests a good reason not to return to your establishment is difficult to understand.

Desired outcome: Be a little flexible when there is no impact on other guests

Applebee's Specifically asked no cheese on my impossible burger.

Hi, I specifically asked the lady on the phone to MAKE SURE there was no cheese on my plant based burger. I asked for no dairy sauces if there were any. The chef gave me cheese with a nub of tomato that still had stem on it like one that should have gone in the trash during prep. The lettuce was also not the nicest but I chalked it up to being hot which can wilt lettuce so I ignored that. It’s extremely frustrating when I spend money at/in an establishment and something is always getting made poorly. Like where is the pride in the food people make for others? Such a shame we can’t fully enjoy a meal out because people in the kitchen or taking the order messes it up. I don’t like to have to send complaints but it just seems to be getting worse the more plant based options come out. Just disrespectful when I’m paying and tipping to have my food not right. Do better!

Applebee's Horrible service

I was at Applebee's on Sherman in Muskegon, MI. I was with my family. I recognized a guy I knew from Reeths Puffer high school named Junkie Hulett. He was a former drug addict. He now works at Applebee's. I tried not to notice him but he recognized me. When I went to the bathroom later he followed me and tried to sell me some cannabis. When I ignored him he proceeded to sell me heroin.

Desired outcome: I complained to the management. Hopefully he gets fired.

Applebee's How they treat disabled people in a walker.

I thought I would treat my mom to nice lunch at our local Applebee's. The food was fine, but how we were initially treated my mother is disabled walks with a walker, and has service dogs. We were seated in the way back in a bad area. The manager talked demeaning to her about the dogs which didn't do anything but sit quietly. The wait staff avoided doing service to us, and ignored my disabled mother on things she asked for. I am shocked how place of establishment don't know the laws on both service animals n disabled. Applebee's Spinach and artichoke dip, bourbon street chicken and shrimp

Hi. I've always had great meals but this one had problems. The spinach and artichoke dip were watered down and had no taste just bland. Never had that happen before. And the chicken was so dry and like rubber. I was looking forward to tender melt in your mouth chicken because I have such a hard time chewing due to oromandibular dystonia. I can normally eat chicken without pain, but this was not good. The steak meal was good but not as tender as I feel it should, but that meal wasn't mine so no complaint from me, I did try it. I got it to go so maybe that was why. Just thought I would let you know. I do reviews for almost everything so I might be doing a review to. Take care. It was at the Applebee's store in Auburn WA state. BTW the shrimp, mushroom, potatoes were very yummy, and I loved the textures and taste. Ty!

Desired outcome: Please refund and I would like apology. I don't like complaining as this is the first time in many years, I've ever had bad food experience.

Applebee's Applebee's Discount Card

I would like to know if the discount card I was given years ago is still good at your Gibsonia, PA restaurant?

The waiter acknowledged the card & said he would take the discount off the bill. He returned with my credit card & the bill being the same amount with no discount.

If the card is now invalid - all he had to do was tell me, not leave the bill & disappear.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Applebee's Terrible Service, cold food

I took my daughter and grandchildren there for lunch after a fun day at the park. They were supposed to open at 11, but doors were still locked. We were seated, placed our order and waited, and waited and waited. It took 30 minutes to receive our appetizer, which was supposed to have meat in it, it had a few teaspoons of meat on top of the chips. The waitress brought our waters, spilled some of it on my granddaughter in the process.

When our meals finally came at nearly 12, our shrimp was cold, the chicken tenders my grandchildren got were skinny and dried out. What was supposed to be a fun lunch was a disaster.

The waitress paid no attention to us at all, so we weren't even able to complain to her. She and the others were too busy talking amongst themselves.

Won't be going back again and plan to advise friends not to either.

Applebee's Employment

I worked 50 hours a week and while at work was written up never told or warned if you didn't sign it or wanted a meeting to talk about it you get terminated I feel do to poor management and not valuing hourly employees I have worked several rester aunt's and have never worked so many hours open close close open put up truck then be fired for a very poor manager to terminate me because he didn't hire me and doesn't like me as I was told by another manager very unprofessional in every way

Applebee's Customer sexual harassment of servers

Saturday, April 30th between 7pm and 9pm

I observed a "regular customer" make sexual comments to the servers, such as "I did not get laid last night" with a suggestive nature.

I have also observed this same customer position himself at the bar in such a manner as to be able to rotate his chair and allow his right hand to drop as servers passed by, Any contact with a server is a "accident".

When this was presented to both a manager and one of the servers of the "accident", the manager quickly suggested that this is not a issue and the this should be dropped. His presentation to me was in a manner that I felt strongly suggested that the server not talk of the issue.

When I mentioned that the incident had made me "lose my appetite", the manager removed my food from my bill. I have heard that this tactic is used by a manager to "compensate" the customer and "resolve" the issue.

After the complaint was issued, I did not observe any action by the manager towards the customer who remained for several hours afterwards.

Desired outcome: I want an apology from the manager for his lack of actions and demeanor to me. This should be done in front of the servers. The offending customer should apologize to all servers, and never sit in that part of the bar again.

Applebee's 2/30 meals

I ordered 2 of the specials first the internet said it was 2 entrees for 24 included chicken steak etc but was informed it was 2 for 30 ok I went ahead and ordered that and when I picked up the meal the 8oz sirloin was nothing but gristle and fat couldn't chew them at all didnt get slaw had to wait an additional 15 mins for that and when I got it it came in a sauce cup I thought a side was a serving not a spoonful.I ended up paying 33.90 for a meal that was very disappointing prices have went up the servings and service down and for 30$ I'd expect a piece of bread I ordered this to go at applebees 2771 east Andrew johnson hwy greeneville,tn. 37745 on 4/29/2022 at 9,59pmp

Desired outcome: I'd like to be able to chew my food when I order it and at least get a serving of slaw instead of a tsp full for the price and maybe a piece of bread

Applebee's The service - missing items from order two days in a row

Hello,

Yesterday we ordered cubside from the Applebees in Elizabethton TN. I asked for mayo for the burgers on my order that was 42 dollars that I gave a 10 dollar tip on. When I got back to the hospital with the food there was no mayo. That made the dry burgers really suck. I called and left a voice message on the managers voicemail and no one returned my call.

Then today, after my mothers back surgery, she wanted the blackened salmon and we also got two steaks. We asked for lemon wedges and some A1. Neither were in the bag when we got back. That bill was 100 bucks and they couldn't even remember to put the A1 and lemon wedges in. Left the manager another voicemail, no return call. That's two ruined meals to the tune of 150 dollars plus tips. I'm very unhappy with Applebee's right now and may never, ever return.

Applebee's Sexual harassment

I gave it a lot of thought and talked to people closer to me. I thought maybe I’m over thinking it. But my mom said this person should have had a female manager come up to me if it were a big issue since it had to do with my body. So I have told multiple people about this and they agree he was wrong. I feel like when a male employee makes comments about a female employee’s boobs, not once but twice, it’s wrong. What action should I take? I decided to quit but I feel like it’s not enough. I genuinely felt like he should have kept his mouth shut or told a female manager to tell me if it was a problem. I just felt his comments falls under the lines of sexual harassment. In the first incident they told me that they could see my boobs. I was wearing a buttoned shirt. Fully buttoned up. There was a little hole apparently that if you looked closely you could see my boob but barely. My chest wasn’t full on cleavage it shouldn’t have made him feel the need to come up to me as say, “This is going to sound weird, but I can see your boobs. Just if you look at the right angle.” I felt extremely uncomfortable about it. Later that same day I was wiping off my shirt in the back near the chest area, he came up to me giggling/laughing and said, “what are you doing?” He should have minded his own business. Honestly. It made me feel so uncomfortable in his presence so I decided to quit. I confided in a female manager. She responded, “ I am so sorry alicia, this is the first I am hearing about this. I am so sry that u felt uncomfortable. U were a great person to hire and im glad I got to meet u. If u need anything let me know. My number is… (her number), If u ever want to elaborate on the situation at work please u can trust me. I dont want any employee to feel u comfortable and I would like to stop it before it happens to anyone else.” And so I did decide to elaborate only to receive no response or feedback. She never reached back out to me.

Desired outcome: I want an apology, and financial help because I lost my job on behalf of this poor behavior. I’d like to talk to corporate and see about suing.

Applebee's Not getting half of my order

I ordered the chips and queso on top of the classic combo. I only received half of the classic combo order which was mozzarella sticks, quesadilla and wings. I did not get my spinach dip and queso dip w chips. I am extremely annoyed due to the fact that I was so hungry and only got half of my order which I payed for in full. I payed over 20$ and barely got half of my order.
