Worst of the sandwich chains
I recently visited Togo’s corporate run store ] and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The service was unorganized, and it took far longer than expected to receive our order, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. When the sandwiches finally arrived, the bread was stale, and the ingredients didn’t taste fresh. The portion sizes were also underwhelming for the price. While the staff was polite, the overall quality and experience didn’t justify the visit. If this is the way a corporate store is run I won’t be returning to any of their stores!
Recommendation: Don’t go , Far better options, support a ma & pa’s or worst case buy the ingredients from Target

Discrimination
I went into the Togos located at 2735 Hillcrest Ave in Antioch, CA. As I do every week. The people are usually friendly. This occurrence a black girl with the name of Debona was rude, she walked away from my order and was cussing me. I am transgender and her not making my order because I am this way is discrimination, I will never step foot back in thi...

My boyfriend and I stopped by the Togo’s on 20022 Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance CA 90503 and our sandwich maker had a nose dripping with snot. We both witnessed her snot drip into the sandwich and she didn’t even bother to wipe the remaining drip from her nose. We were in such shock and horror and disbelief we didn’t even know what to say. Please refund our money!
Desired outcome: Refund
This review is written by somebody who literally makes sport of putting hair in her own food to get a free meal. Instead of giving her a refund, you should sue for libel. Nobody stands there and pays for food with snot in it.
Messed up Online order
I placed an online ordered at the Togo's on 11th Street in Tracy, CA. This place has always been a hit and miss, some of their employees just don't care. For this reason we stopped going here but decided to give it another try. (not many sandwich places in Tracy) I ordered the meatball sub with light sauce because they always tend to make it with too much sauce. To my surprise after getting home, the subs were soaked, the meatball sub bread was drenched in sauce and there was next to No meat in it. The club sandwich I ordered with extra lettuce had no lettuce and the bread was soggy. This has been the most unpleasant experience and most disgusting subs we have ever got from this place. I do not think we will be coming back to this place.
Desired outcome: Re-Train employees or hire someone that cares enough to create better subs

The $30 Rip-Off-Where'a The Meat
On August 01, 2022 At 14:54 pm, I sent my fiancee out to a Togo sandwich located at 3455 Sonoma Blvd. #10 Vallejo, California 94590 ph# [protected] Prepared By Server Balwinder D. on ticket #40 who took and prepared this short order, and short being an understatement, to get me a bite to eat.
Since being a disabled veteran, I don't go out much, and I EXPECTED, to receive back a $14.65 Togo sandwich fill with the average Pastrami filling I get from other Togo's eateries near my home, not one deprived mostly of its meat filling (PASTRAMI) that was loaded with mostly vegetables, what a rip-off.
To Ms. Balwinder, I did not order a garden vegetable sandwich to which my fiancee tried to address to you Ms. Balwinder regarding the shortage of Pastrami on the sandwich, but you, Ms. Balwinder, only replied back by stating, extra Pastrami, would cost extra? So, Ms. Balwinder would have one believe that, by selling Subway's vegan sandwiches disguised as Togo's, you can inflate (gouge) the customer by shorting them of what they paid for.
Also, Ms. Balwinder, after spending almost 30 years in food service both in my military and civilian occupation, I know when a customer is being had.
Sign, Where's The Pastrami
Desired outcome: A refund would suffice along with a change in management/ownership since this is not the 1st time, but should be the last time.
Customer Service
4-3-22 @ 7:45 pm Galt Ca Twin City location. I understand we are in difficult times and the product we select may be out. However my complaint appears to be not the service of the worker but the owner or whomever is collecting their the funds at this location. I can except the fact that product has to be gauged so product is not waisted at the end of the day. I showed up late and that there was only two choices of Bread( wheat or White). I can except the fact that there was no pickles or the green bell peppers. I asked the worker what she was putting on my sandwich and she said bell peppers it looked like smooched red small tomatoes. I can except the fact that the young employee was trying her best in the situation she was in but what I can't except is what appeared to be the owner and his total disregard to the customers waiting. When I first walked in. He was getting a soda, then he went behind the counter and was waiting for something. At first he looked like a service worker. I waited for at least five minutes for someone to show up at the counter. I went to the counter and asked the young lady serving the ice cream on the dryers side was anyone working the Togo's side. She went in the back to get her and the person who was drinking the soda never said anything. Several minutes past and I was just about to walk out and I see a transfer of money from the worker to the person drinking the soda. I can only assume he was the owner. Then I watched the young worker attend to the customer that had an online order who was waiting before me and her sandwich was in the microwave on the whole time she was dealing with the owner. It was burnt and she had to restart that sandwich. I can deal with having a bad sandwich or a young worker making my sandwich incorrectly but what I can not deal with is the lack of respect to the customers waiting to be severed and the owner of this establishment has the audacity to ignore them and put himself in front of the customer because it appears his time is more important. I will not go back to that location.
Bait and switch
I purchased 2 sandwiches that were (as advertised) steak and cheese etc. Instead I was given Roast Beef instead of steak. When I sent a email to Togo's, the response was "it's always Roast Beef we do not have steak" The middle photo shows what I received. Never again.
Desired outcome: Truth in advertising
horrible customer service from the owner/manager - phil
9/12/2017 @ 1:58 pm 000002 serv. 0010001. Phil asked what I wanted, I ordered the # 4 6" on wheat. Phil started making the sandwich, the lady behind me asked what was on that since it was not on the board. Once she asked he told me he could not make this sandwich and I would need to make another choice. His demeanor was so rude I was taken back. I asked why the sudden change, he said he was not allowed to make it. I told him I was just there last week and I had no issues. I said you have the turkey, salami and cheese could he please make it. He became very upset stating if I want it he was going to make me pay for it. I was concerned he was going to mess with my food. I started shaking I was so upset. I asked to speak with his manager or supervisor, he informed me he was the owner. I said this is a franchise, I'm sure he was under someone. he told me to email my complaint but it would just go to him and laughed. he asked for a ring and when he told the gal Janae the order she looked puzzled and questioned him. when she came to ask for payment she looked ashamed and embarrassed.I would like to be reimbursed for the over charge. I would also like for him to be retrained. he could of went about this an entirely different way to say he went out of his way to keep a customer.
When Phil said he was going to make me pay...he did. He charged me $19.93! The picture is small so I wanted to make sure this came across.
Rudeness
I visited the Monterey Park, CA TOGO's on Atlantic Blvd. once again after being absent for over a year due to rudeness and upon my return on 10/01/2013 I waited in line while another customer was being served. During my wait the female clerk looked at me a couple of times but said nothing. After approximately 2 minutes the clerk said, "Sir, are you going to order!?" I replied, "Yes." She rudely replied, "Well the line starts over there, ok!" While she said this she pointed with her right index finger then turned away. The other clerk wasn't near the other side and she didn't make the effort to instruct her partner to assist me who at the time was giggling with another clerk. I waited about 30 seconds and left. I will influence everyone I know not to visit TOGO'S. I am very influential person and because of my success in business people will listen to me. Some say one person doesn’t make a difference but they are wrong especially when I know hundreds of people both professionally and personally.

Bad Customer Service
I was really disappointment with my visit at this location. The manager was being a total jerk, and the person making my sandwich was new so the manager was constantly asking if the person was making the sandwich right. The person that helped me didn't want to make my pastrami warmer per my request and said it was already warm. And the manager told that...

I have eaten at Togo's on Hawthorne selected times in the past couple of months and am very disappointed in this location. First, the employees meticulously weigh every single item that goes on your sandwich. They are so concerned with cutting costs, that the customer feels like they are on an imposed diet by the Togo's staff. This not only makes the customer mad but takes a long time for each customer to be helped. In addition, they do not have the assembly line down, which works very well at the other locations. Someone does not promptly take your cash as you are ordering, so the line bottlenecks as one tries to pay. Someone needs to help this Togo's out!

Bad service
Approximately one month ago, I picked up a couple of sandwiches from ToGos Eatery. I paid with my debit card and left it there on the counter. I called the store about five minutes later and was told by the store manager that they had it and I could pick it up any time. I returned on two occasions to retrieve my card and was told that it was locked in the store safe and that no one present was able to get in to it.
The third time I returned for my card, I was told that it was not in the safe, but the manager was en route to the store and he had possession of it. I left after waiting for about twenty minutes. When I spoke with the manager on the phone later that day, he informed me that me card was no where to be found. I then canceled my card.
The following day I learned that someone had made approximately $121.00 in charges on the card, commencing just several hours after I left the card there. Despite making dozens of phone calls, including several to the corporate headquarters, NOT A SINGLE REPRESENTATIVE from this company has even once returned any of my phone calls.
I am convinced that one of the employees from that store stole my credit card and used it (since the manager informed me that the card was actually being stored inside the register underneath the cash drawer). Not only does this corporation not care about this incident of victimization, they are continuing to allow one of their dishonest, criminal employees to handle customer credit cards each day.
