I placed an order on December 9th for 2 items that should be received within 7-10 days after shipping according to the Fanatics website. On December 12th both items were moved to the "shipped" status on the Fanatics website, and referenced 2 different FedEx tracking numbers. One of the tracking numbers says the estimated arrival date is in 2 months! If the item has actually shipped, then why would it take until February 23, 2022, before my item would be delivered? I called and asked the customer service rep if the item is located on the other side of the world and how it could actually take 2 months to get delivered. Of course, a ticket was put in and I couldn't get an answer. I also asked about the other item because I entered the tracking number into the FedEx tracking site and it has been sitting at a status of "label created" for 6 days. If that item had actually shipped, why hasn't it moved from that status? I feel like orders are falsely getting moved to "shipped" status on Fanatics' side to meet some sort of sales quota or other financial reason. I'm getting charged for items that have not actually shipped and probably will not arrive in time for Christmas. Customer service is terrible and doesn't offer much to help resolve either situation.
Desired outcome: Don't just moved orders to "shipped" status if the order hasn't actually shipped.
Fanatics - Unable to return
I have ordered several things from Fanatics in the past and have never needed to return anything and have been satisfied with the products I received. I ordered a fire pit for a Christmas present in Nov 2020. The company advertises easy returns 365-Days. The person I purchased the fire pit for is not interested in the product. The box has never been opened. I contacted Fanatics to return the fire pit and they informed me that the product is over 30 days and I am unable to return the product. This was a Christmas present! I will never order from Fanatics for my family or my business again!
Desired outcome: I would like to return the product
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
