I came in to the office for my initial appointment so I can set up an appointment for a root canal and a crown due to a broken tooth.
Once I arrived I was happy with the service I was receiving and felt comfortable with the Dr.
After seeing the doctor I was then shuffled to a financial person. Who after going over all my treatments I was like this nice.
Well then she killed the whole deal and ruined my experience completely! She told me that I had to pay for and start and treatment for my acute periodontal issue before I could get my root canal and crown. Which was more important to me and is irrelevant to the other treatment she was forcing me to take.
When I say forced, this is what I mean. And I quote "My doctor will NOT perform this work in a dirty mouth, you will need to have the period treatment first"
I am the patient and there is no regulation or stipulation that requires a cleaning before an issue that has president like a broken tooth that requires a root canal and crown.
The sad part is that I would have done, and agreed to do the additional treatment AFTER we addressed the main issue I came in for - The Broken Tooth!
Desired outcome: Allow me to take care of the root canal and crown and DO NOT FORCE ME to do something I am not ready or willing to do!
