On 1/02/2019 I purchased 2 mechanical recliners from Rooms to Go for $2919.99. I paid $350.40 for the 3-year extended warranty.
In March, my built-in phone outlet USB charger/button control system was extremely hot and burnt my husbands finger. I replaced the USB wire with a brand-new USB wire. Once again, the couch USB outlet was so hot it sparked and left a burn mark from the cord on the side of the couch. My couch outlet is faulty and a fire hazard.
We are afraid to plug the couch due to the risk of a fire. Rooms to Go stated that this is a mechanical defect and states the warranty must replace the furniture. The warranty company sent a technician out, and he took a picture of the burn and said the company would be in contact. The Warranty company keeps denying the claim and will not send another technician to test the faulty USB port system.
The warranty states it covers electrical components and burns. Fortegra is not backing their extended warranty, which seems to be a problem by many.
They are claiming we put a faulty USB outlet in for their denial reason, but we even purchased a new USB cord, and it burnt the new one as well. Their extended warranty states it claims to cover all electrical units and burns.

Rooms To Go - Furniture
We have several mistakes with our orders totaling about $5000. We can get no where.
The local office does not return phone calls. The manager does not return phone calls.
The sales person is only interested in selling and not in helping anyone after the sale.
The delivery person said this particular store is known for lousy management and suggested we call the neighboring town. The neighboring town said they cannot help
The all tell us to call customer service. Customer service does not answer, and if they do, they tell us they will have someone call back
No one does.
Blaming this on COVID needs to end

Rooms To Go - Sofa seam separating
On June 6, 2019 I purchased a dual power sofa recliner and a dual power recliner for
$1769.99. My order # is [protected]. On July 17, 2019 I submitted an online service request via email to have this seam repaired. After several back and forth email
conversations I still do not have my sofa repaired and the seam is getting larger.
Because of the lack of response from Rooms To Go I would like to get a full refund for this purchase and I will not shop Rooms to go again.
