Ashley HomeStore - Couch and chair

I went into the Pinellas Park store in Florida. I was assisted and ended up purchasing a beautiful couch, love seat and white chair. I was told I would receive my love seat and chair by the following Monday. And, I did. The delivery guys were fantastic and very kind.. and quick. When I looked at my white chair, there was a highlighter mark on it that would not go away. I called within minutes of the delivery guys leaving. The lady said she would send out a tech to fix it. I said thank you, however, it is damaged merchandise that was delivered. I asked for a new one to replace the damaged one that was delivered. She said she was going to send it "up" and that would have an answer within a couple of days.

A couple of days resulted in weeks. AND... I shouldn't be the one calling them. They should be calling me. BTW... I asked about when my couch was going to get delivered, and I was told 3 different dates, April 1st, April 15th and now... May 25th. This is unacceptable. I'm without a couch for over 2 months. AND... I have a huge family event on April 15th.

Back to the chair... I finally, after almost 30 minutes on hold, got an associate. He was kind and very respectful. He said that my "case" was resolved and that they would be sending me a new chair. When? Who knows... He said that they would contact me.

Now.. back to the couch. When I asked him about my couch and when it was going to be delivered, he had a very hard time telling me that it wasn't coming until the end of MAYYYYYY! OMG.

Had I been told upfront about the 6-8 weeks of waiting, I would have been ok with it. BUT, I wasn't.

I run a multimillion dollar retail store and this is the kind of customer service I would NEVER allow. Communication with the customer is vital. Facts and truth should always be known. I'm hurt... I feel like I was tricked. And I hate that.

I would appreciate a manager reaching out to me and talking to me about this incident. I am very dissatisfied.
