When I politely asked for a second, she inquired with a condescending tone, "Are you alright?" Surprised, I responded, "Yes, why?" Her reply was laced with disdain: "You seemed a little rowdy," as though she was challenging my behavior. This encounter isn't isolated; the cashier has displayed verbal aggression before, resembling a bully. It's perplexing; cashiers are expected to assist customers with a positive attitude. Returning to the self-checkout, I discovered my wallet missing, presumably swiped by someone.
