This morning we had an appointment at 10:30 AM. We've been dealing with this Hyundai Dealership for many years. I followed my husband up as we would run errands while the car was repaired. We signed in on time, gave them my phone number so that if it needed more work they would call us to get our OK. We were told 1 hour to replace the lamp and a little more if they needed to do something else. At 12:30 we still had not heard if anything else needed to be done so we assumed the car was finished. We drove back to the service desk, and joined many people standing in line as there was so service reps behind the counter. Only a young lady that was new to this desk.
At 1:15 we finally spoke to a rep. We were told that more needed to be done and I asked why no phone call, the car had still not been worked on. I was told that there was an emergency meeting and they were all called into the meeting. Someone slipped and send several people were fired. By now it is now three hours and the car was not finished. Still no answer as to why no one contacted us. I asked for the keys back and we left without the car being repaired. This use to be an excellent service center and we loved dealing with them. However, over the last year and a half - two years this has been going down hill quickly. The service has gotten worse and then today it just totally fell apart. You don't pull everyone out when people are waiting, you do 2 meetings to take care of business and leave someone there to keep the department running. My husband and I left with a very bad taste for this service center today and are now looking for someone else to take care of our new Hyundai and his 2012. May have to drive further than the 45 minutes it takes to get here but maybe we'll be back to the expected standard that this place use to have.
