Kay Jewelers has beautiful jewelry and My fiancé surprised me with the ring of my dreams on 12/29/19, but their customer service is lacking heavily. They're not honest about timing and have set unrealistic expectations. It's suppose to be the most exciting time of our lives, but we haven't seen the ring since he proposed. He was told when he bought it that I could have it sized in two days. I went in to get it sized on 12/30/19, letting them know that I really needed it for an event on 1/4/20. I have a receipt that says "drop off date 12/30/19 and promise date 1/3/20". It's currently 1/6/20 and still do not have the ring. I chatted with corporate and they said the date was wrong on the receipt and it'll most likely be 1/13/20. I walked into the store today livid, and they said maybe it will be there tomorrow. What a mess. I love the ring and my fiancé for picking it out, but Kay Jewelers needs to not lie to people about expectations. I didn't have the ring all week, or for an event Saturday that I really wanted to have it for. I might not even have my ring for an engagement photo shoot and party. Such a shame, and I even bought the warranty for myself. Beware of all of this.
