I was told online that I had to make an appointment with my bank (Bank of America) to have a paper notarized and that only one bank was available in my area because all of the other banks were closed. The whole process was very difficult including the bank visit.
When I got to the bank I was asked what I needed I said that I need a notary. She looked at the paper and said that I needed to supply two witnesses that the bank did not have two witnesses. I told her that the place that I am getting the notary for said that the bank would provide the witnesses for me and the bank had always provided witnesses for me in the past. She said that they, the bank, was providing business for all of the closed banks in the area and that they were very busy and that she couldn't ask any of the workers to witness the paper for me because they are busy with customers. She used a very loud and rude voice. I had to beg and beg for her to ask two workers to sign as witnesses and she finally did. I have been a customer with this bank for about 44 years. This is the first bank that I opened a checking account with. I should not have been treated this way. This bank also keeps taking away more and more services from its customers and charging more and more for services.

You should have told her that getting a cashier's check for the remaining balance on your account only takes one employee, and she can either notarize your document or close your account. You don't have to take mouth off of service sector employees.
