I applied for a personal checking account and a visa signature card. I provided all the documents requested through back and forth emails and I was approved for both. Once approved I received my two new cards in the mail but when I called in to activate my personal checking account I was transferred over to loss prevention. Loss Prevention informed me that I would have to go into a branch to prove my identity. Once we got off the phone I tried to log into my account and it was restricted from me being able to log in after being available for over a week. So Now I have a new line of credit on my credit file and funds in my savings and checking account that I have no access to. I am a SR. Physician so I work during the bank hours and very long hours on top of that. I just do not understand why I was approved after all the documents and verifications and now I am being obligated to take off from work in which I would never do to drive and wait in line at a branch to do something I have already provided and completed online. This is a major inconvenience and personally I don't believe its right nor policy.
Desired outcome: I would like to be able to sign into my account and activate my cards without having to take off from work, walk inside a branch to only prove myself once again.
