I am a black female. I stopped by this Woodforest National Bank located inside Walmart. The physical address is 970 Mansell Rd Roswell GA 30076. I wanted to purchase a $1000 money order. Kevin Schilleci was the bank teller assisting me. I am not a Woodforest National Bank member. I expected to pay a fee for the money but, never did I expect the response from Kevin Schilleci and Tyler Martin the branch manager. Kevin and Tyler, both told me that they would not sell me a money order unless I give them my social security number. I asked for their policy that supports their statement. Kevin and Tyler both, stated, they did not have a policy. I felt that I was targeted and singled out based on my race and sex. I would not recommend black consumers to support this national bank. I advised anyone who has also been a victim of discrimination to report it to the Consumer Affairs agency.
Desired outcome: Stop practicing Race Discrimination against certain groups of human beings.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
