We went to Stanton optical in Nampa Idaho for glasses. While we were waiting, several people came into the store looking for their glasses & were angry they had waited so long and not been notified that they were even in. We should have left right then and saved ourselves a lot of grief. Not only are they overpriced but we waited a month for glasses. When I finally got my glasses I could see better without them. They lost my husband's glasses all together. We were never notified when his glasses were found. When we went back a week later, We were told "well, they've been here waiting for a week". We were never notified and the woman said she would call us when they were found. When I asked why they didn't call, she said "if I had to call everybody when their glasses came in, I'd have to hire another person." Even though it was the same person that said she'd call. The manager and the woman at the front desk were the most unprofessional ignorant (human beings) we have had the misfortune of dealing with in a very long time. I called the corporate office. They were absolutely no help. We wound up getting the money back for our glasses but we're still out $200 for our eye exams. Lesson
learned! Don't make the same mistake!
Desired outcome: The outcome would have been to get a decent priced pair of glasses in a timely manner without having to deal with Incompetent, unprofessional employees! Money back for the eye exam would be a good start
We will never go to Stanton optical again! This has been the worst experience in a very long time! Totally ripped off.
