Kelly Nurseries - Over half of my order not delivered, no one answers the phone and no one replies to the website contact

My $94.64 order, placed in January and paid in full by check, was partially delivered in early March — mainly the free items and the small ticket items. I have tried multiple times to reach them by phone to find out if the rest of my order was ever going to ship, but the phone is always busy or after hours with no voice mail. I reached out by website and all I got was an auto generated reply. There is no customer service. Even the items they did ship to me (for example 3 Siberian Elm $7.99) are dead. I would like to publicly receive a list of every company that is tied to Kelly Nursery so that I can be sure to never order from any of them ever again. BBB lists the owner Deanne Colledge as also owning Burgess Seed (which I have ordered from yearly for decades), 4 Seasons Nursery, Direct Gardening, Exciting Gardens, Farmers Seed. This poor customer service is giving mail order catalog nurseries a very bad name. I am sad that I have been taken for a ride, but troubled by ordering online and by catalog again in the future.

Kelly Nurseries - Trees not received

I ordered 2 Golden Chain Trees on 1/15/16. Order number [protected]. We received a package on April 1, 2016 late in the evening. It contained only one tree. I called [protected] and I was told that I had to send this letter to Bloomington, IL, explaining the issue and including the original shipping label. When I asked for an email address, I was told it must go out snail mail (USPS). Unbelievable! This is 2016, we live in a digital age, not in the early 1900’s!
So, imagine my surprise when I started researching and found that the BBB of Peoria, IL has over 140 complaints about your HORRIBLE SERVICE. I made it 141!
I then called the number I found on the BBB website [protected]) and was told this was “Corporate Policy”, stupid policy! Then when I asked where to send this stupid letter I was given a different address in Minnesota! Now I have to send 2 letters? Oh, I only have ONE ORIGINAL SHIPPING LABEL, I’m really screwed now! I’ll be sure to tell all my Digital Friends on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Yelp and anywhere else I can find NOT to shop with these companies! Oh, I forgot, they live in 1950 and none of this matters to them because none of this exists in their world yet and they don’t care about their customers!

Kelly Nurseries - Plants were dead, when I got them

I wasn’t satisfied with the services of www.kellynurseries.com. I have bought plants from them, but the delivery process was so long and sophisticated that I got already dead plants. I took photos of them and emailed the seller. I attached the photos and asked to substitute the plants, but the seller sent me rude and impolite letter. I understood that he wasn’t easy-going and wouldn’t change the orders easily.
