I have been a Jewel customer for many years. being a senior citizen I look for sales and especially buy one get one free sales. we all know that Jewel marks up the price when these sales go on. the Hormel ribs usually are priced at about 4.00 per lb. when there is a two for one the price is hiked to 6 or 7.00 per lb. went shopping yesterday as the ribs were buy one get one free. well the average price for one package was suddenly 10.00 per pound. great way to rip people off. needless to say I did not buy the ribs and actually got so mad I walked out of the store and I really don't know if I will ever shop there again. I am not a complainer but this I just couldn't let go. in this time where people are hurting this is what Jewel does to loyal customers for the sake of making a few more dollars. thanks ever so much.
Jewel-Osco - produce
I asked Produce Manager for Jazz apples. He said they weren't in season. I replied it is apple season. He said they weren't on order guide. The produce manager before him found the number and did order Jazz apples. I can also get the st Target, Tony's and Melrose Park Jewel. The next day the ads came out and Jazz apples were advertised. The Franklin Park Jewel still hasn't ordered Jazz apples. Poor customer service.
Jewel-Osco - customer service / bad ham
OK let me start we are shopping and your Asko sometimes four times a week we've been going there over 20 some years the same drawer in Franklin Park OK how are you see everybody's pretty friendly the ladies that are at customer service through either stressed out because you're always mean that Messerli mean to just not nice Perry on the other hand is a very nice solve my problem is I had bought black forest ham at the price of almost $10 a pound we got it home we didn't eat it when I see the second day we decided to have a sandwich my sister and I to see how it tasted funky it just didn't taste right so being that it's him we don't need it so we decide To bring back mind you it ewas t two sandwiches short so when I brought it back she says "you ate some out of it so she didn't give me my full price back but the thing is I'm going out date was December 8 expiration date was December 8 and she says oh no that's not supposed to be like that so instead of embarrassing me in front of everybody and saying that we ate some of it without letting hurt me tell her that yet we threw the meat sandwiches awake they were bad she gave me her and told her just give me a store credit but I just need you to know she was not the most pleasant person and I really don't want to start shopping elsewhere my name is Pamela Marinelli my phone number is [protected] I need my email is [protected]@hotmail.com
