On April 14th, I canceled my membership for the second time. I had paid $30 out of the $54 annual fee that I should have never received in the first place.
Then, on May 20th, I noticed a charge of $54 on my card. I visited Planet Fitness and was informed that there was no manager present, and I was promised a call back from Jordan on Monday. However, she never followed up with me. A few days later, I called her, and she mentioned that I still owed $54 for the annual fee, even though my information showed the membership was canceled. Then, she handed the phone to someone else.
During the call, they were playing games, laughing, and refusing to assist me. They placed me on hold for a total of 20 minutes, twice. I have my receipt and cancellation paperwork as evidence.
I am requesting that this charge be reversed, and I want to ensure that all of my card information is removed from your systems. My membership has been canceled.
